School Management Evaluation and Selfevaluation

This thesis is focused on process of evaluation and self-evaluation of school-management in leisure time centres in Central Bohemia and Prague. The thesis aims to discover how and whether at all evaluation and self-evaluation of school-management takes place in leisure centres, including sources, methods and criterias being used. In theoretical part we define origin and meaning of the evaluation and self-evaluation concept and we present main thoeries of this discipline in so called Evaluation theory tree. Then, Leisure time centres are classified presented in context of Czech school system and types of education - informal, non-formal and formal. Individual chapters deal with general presentation of leisure time centres, definition of school management (including legal requirements concerning their education), evaluation tools, projects, methods, competences and competence models of middle management in leisure time centres. We also introduce here evaluation tools created for leisure time centres, especially online system Olina. In empirical part we combine quantitative design of research (survey among leisure time centres in Central Bohemia and Prague) and case study in chosen centre. Interest-based education and leisure time are important in every person's life and they influence the proper functioning of the whole society. In order to fulfil its functions, it is important to emphasize its quality. The aim of the Diploma Thesis The Management of Interest Based Education Quality in the Ústí Region is to reveal the real status of the quality management of the interest-based education in the leisure time centres; and to identify the possibilities to innovate the leisure time education quality management. The questionnaire survey was used as the main research method of data collection. Interviews were used as the supplementary method. Marketing management of the school facilities for interest education

1 Abstract: The final diploma thesis deals with the issue of marketing management of the school facilities for interest education It is based on the existing theoretical findings in the marketing area and marketing strategies. The theoretical part defines basic concepts, features of the marketing management organisations and their benefits. The thesis deals with the specifics of the marketing management in the school facilities for interest education, the individual steps of the marketing management and especially the marketing mix - product, price of the educational programs, place of their provision, propagation and sales promotion. The thesis brings the analysis of the found results of the extensive research provided via questionnaire investigation, interview and text analysis. This analysis represents the status of the marketing management in the leisure centers and the benefit of the analysis is the enumeration of the using marketing tools as a resource of the inspiration for improvement in this area in the conditions of school facilities for interest education. Educational Program for Leisure Centres

The work focuses on school educational programmes which are a topical issue not only within all levels of the formal education, but also out of their scope where the school framework programmes are not applied. The first chapter deals with the school curriculum reform, curriculum documents, pillars, forms and the general analysis of school educational programmes. The second chapter contains characteristics and a comparison of two school educational programmes applied in two leisure-time centres - The Children's and Youth Centres in Jindřichův Hradec and in Strakonice. It also outlines the socio-demographic development, brief characteristics of both leisure-time centres, conditions for creation of school educational programmes, and their content analysis.
