The representation of antiheroes in TV programmes for Children

The thesis propounded below is based upon a presumption that one of the significant means of socialization is mass media. It represents a source of information since an early age of a child, constitute the models of a socially acceptable behaviour and depict the values and norms that are applicable to the society. In continuation to the ambiguous character of socialization, on one hand allowing an individual to integrate fully into the society, on the other hand, however, producing the present inequalities, the author enquires into the way how villains are portrayed in television cartoons, that is, those who violate these commonly accepted norms. In the theoretical part of the thesis the author builds predominantly on the sociological reflections of the character of the modern society, the character of socialization and social norms. In the chapters dealing with the socialization potential of media she employs primarily the modelling theory that stems from the more universal social learning theory. In the empirical part the author, using qualitative research, tries to describe how villains are portrayed in television cartoons and besides other statements, she proves that their world has a strictly dichotomic and exclude character. The analysis of the primary prevention programmes in Liberec region

Topic of my thesis covers the analysis of programmes, related to primary prevention within the Liberec region. Theoretical part of my thesis comprises the identification of basic terms that are related to the development of socio-pathological phenomena and risk behaviour of children and youth. Furthermore, the thesis depicts the prevention system, which is focused on primary prevention of the risk behaviour. An important part of the thesis is the primary prevention as a part of the upbringing process. The theoretical part of my thesis ends with a chapter that is dealing with the community planning process of villages. By means of an empiric investigation, practical part of the thesis analyses the situation within the primary prevention at elementary schools, information on the number of providers and programmes for primary prevention are investigated in the thesis as well. Another important output lies within the needs and attitudes of the villages in the given region.
Sexual education through the eyes of two generations

The bachelor thesis deals with the problems of sex education in a family and at school. In a theoretical part in introduces a definition of sex education and historical development in the Czech Republic since 1948 and further discusses its subject, methods, goals and obstacles of sex education in the institutions mentioned above. In the empirical part it presents a view of my communication partners representing two generations on the definition of sex education, the process of their own sex education and the idea of an ideal process of sex education in light of age and the depth of provided information. The research shows that they by the term sex education they understand especially those aspects that are related to one's sex life, e. g. organs of reproduction, contraception, sexual adolescence and pregnancy. According to the communication partners, the first information about sex education mediates especially school, but in an ideal case, it should be the family. That indicates the differences between the real process of sex education and the ideal case, which is also mentioned by the specialists. Even though there are still some imperfections in sex education both in a family and at school, a positive shift toward incorporation of sex education into a family environment can be seen.
World of Children as Media Users

This dissertation consists of two parts - a theoretical and an analytical, empirical part. In the theoretical segment, there is a summary of theoretical knowledge about celebrities and their relationship to society and the public, a comparison between celebrities and real authorities, an overview of mass-communication and its influence on the socialisation of children and a series of advantages and disadvantages of the impact of mass-communication on children. The final stage of the theoretical segment characterises, from the point of view of developmental psychology, the two age groups that will be compared in the second segment. The empirical segment answers such questions as how much do children use media in their leisure time, what types of media are most popular amongst them, which celebrities do the children admire and why are these celebrities important for them in particular. The empirical segment is based on analysis of data taken from questionnaires created purposely for qualitative-quantitative research. These questionnaires were given to students in the 4th and 6th grades of an elementary school in Polepy in the Czech Republic (ages 10/11 and 12/13 respectively). The goal of this dissertation is to show the trending habits of children as mass- media users.
The influence of education and traditions on the life and development of a village

The diploma thesis deals with the education and traditions in the municipality of Horní Střítež in a comprehensive context. It presents an image of rural life and factors influencing the development of the village and contemporary life of the residents. Alongside principal education concepts, the thesis draws on an extensive context of findings from other academic disciplines. The first part of the thesis describes the historical context of the events that shaped the development of the municipality. Chapters mapping, in more detail, the current events, with particular emphasis on the role of education in the rural family and in the community, the school system and leisure time follow, highlighting the benefits of the traditional conception of life in the country. Theoretical and methodological aspects as well as the ethical aspect are relevant in the application of the qualitative research method. The qualitative research of the establish a relationship strategies and the rejection of others for preschool children in a nursery school.

The main aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to find how children of preschool age are or are not able to build the friendship. The theoretic part is focused on the explanation of a term ?personality? and on developmental theories which are somehow connected with children (Sigmund Freud, Jean Piaget and Erik Erikson). After the explanation of key terms of these theories, we can find there chapters concerning verbal and non-verbal communication. Then it is focused on social interaction which is an integral part of interpersonal relationships. Attention is also paid to emotional and interpersonal intelligence and social inclusion and exclusion are explained there as well. Methodological part clarifies what research methods are used in this piece of work. The results of the observation are summarized in practical part. The aim of this observation was to find reasons why children are not able to integrate into a group. The method of observation and interviews were used in this part of work. Colleague and parents of children provide additional information.
Economical and cultural evaluation of the activities of Basic Art Schools

The topic of this thesis is an analysation of the social contribution of Basic Art Schools in Czech republic, the description of their activities both economical and cultural and the description of the curren state of their network. The evaluation a conlusions are made in the context of history and law. The thesis contains aplication of gained facts on concrete institution. The main goal is to create a coherent introduction to the system of basic art eduacation in Czech republic.
The Children´s and Youth´s Attitude to Sports and the Influence of Sport to their Psychic Condition

This work deals with the relationship of children and the young towards sport and how sport influences their psychic development. It discourses upon leisure sports and their pedagogical, social and also economical possibilities. This work offers an insight into history of sport activities since the dawn of humanity, categorisation of sport disciplines and individual phases of a human development on the subject of sport. Further on, it deals with cognitive functions concerning sport activities and also the importance of sport at schools and interested education. The practical part of this work is a survey comparing different views on sport as seen by chidren and the young. The survey helps to understand why some people do sports and some do not.
Different forms of contemporary childhood

The thesis deals with the present forms of childhood and with issues that influence them in positive or negative ways. First, the thesis describes the term childhood, further it analyses factors with the highest influence on its final form. These are the child itself, its development, family and its home environment and of course its upbringing {--} the treatment and education the child receives. The proces of becoming socialized, socialization, is also essential. The factors that have negative influence on our childhood are divorces, violence in a family, syndrome CAN, alcohol and drugs.
