Impacts of family background on education of students in primary schools

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the impacts of family background on pupils' education in primary schools. The thesis aims to examine the direct effects of family background on the behavior and education of pupils in primary schools. The theoretical part explores the topic of family background, defines the consequences of negative experiences in close relationships, and then discusses the three levels of mental health support and well-being support for pupils. The research part of the thesis is conducted through ten online interviews with primary school teachers. The collected data are then analyzed and summarised into tables, which contain information about the pupil's family situation and the impact of family background on the pupil's behavior and education. The results based on the data are summarised using graphs. The research found that family background and negative childhood experience have had a negative impact on the pupil's behavior and education in eight cases and on the pupil's behavior or education in two cases. Family and its Importance in a Child's Life

This thesis deals with family education and the importance of family for the child of preschool age. The theoretical part provides expert knowledge of the child of preschool age, family upbringing. Furthermore it describes concepts of family, its functions and finally family in child's drawing. The empirical part is focused on the research study of families and its significance for the child. It emphasizes the time parents spent with children, the family environment and the overall family situation. The research is conducted using interviews with children, mothers and teachers. To underline the entire research I also analyzed children's drawings.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the influence of family background as a key component of one's social support. The thesis deals specifically with function of original and newly set family in burnout prevention and finds different aspects that can be crucial for prevention of burnout. Family socioeconomic status and its impact on the development of childhood obesity

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of childhood obesity - family socioeconomic status and its impact on the development of childhood obesity. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with childhood obesity in general - definition, classification according to etiopathogenesis, epidemiology, diagnostics, health complications, prevention and treatment. Subsequently, this diploma thesis deals with the relationship between childhood obesity and socioeconomic status - impact of socioeconomic inequalities , impact of parents. The practical part of this diploma thesis is based on an anonymous questionnaire survey, which is focused on family socioeconomis status and its impact on nutritional status and nutritional habits of child. The survey was realized from October 2020 to February 2021. The questionnaire survey was distributed to five primary schools (located in Prague and Prague-East District) and was also published via a social network Facebook. The survey was targeted at trird grade students (116 students, 56 % boys, 44 % girls) and their parents (the respondents). The obtained data was evaluated using the program RůstCZ (child's BMI percentile) and the program R (statistical analysis). The focus of this bachelor's thesis is the examination of the role of a family back-ground and support which a student does (not) need in the course of his or her studies. The theoretical part of the study looks into the notion of a family, its func-tion, characteristic features, and family environment. Family, being one of the fac-tors, which determine the student's further development and success, plays a substantial role in his or her period of studies. At the same time, the study is oriented towards a student as an individual personality, and his or her development in the process of psychological maturing which takes place during the period at a secondary school. The practical part of the study is concerned with the student's perception of the family support and his or her family background. The survey is conducted with the method of using a questionnaire distributed to the students of secondary schools in Brno and Olomouc. The retrieved data are analysed with a simple statistical method, and then evaluated in a discussion of this work.
The influence of family background on the choice of secondary school

This Bachelor Thesis follows up the effect of family background on secondary school choice for students. The theoretical part describes family and its relationships, education, adolescence and circumstances affecting the secondary school choice. Practical part is based on quantitative and qualitative elements. The first part analyses non-standardized questionnaire which is supplemented by interviews with two first grade students from the different kinds of secondary schools in the second part. The aim of the research was to analyse what kind of family factors influence students when choosing their secondary school.
