This thesis describes the conversion between the CCOFF object file format and the ELF file format. We start with a general object file format and its debbuging information, then we focus closely on the ELF, CCOFF and DWARF debugging information. The functionality of the CCOFF format is encapsulated in the ObjectFile class library. Then follows the description of creating an ELF object file, its filling with the proper data and its conversion back to the CCOFF format.

Implementation of General Assembler

This thesis describes the design of the universal assembler that represents a part of the Lissom project. You will be provided with the description of the assembler architectures and their usual tasks. Special attention is paid to GNU assembler. Designed assembler consists of the fixed and the generated part. The generated part is created automatically from the description of instruction set, that is defined using architecture and instructions set description language ISAC. Using this approach, it is possible to change assembler target architecture automatically. The second part of thesis describes the Parserlib2 library implementation that is a part of the Lissom project and provides the information about the target instruction set for an assembler generator.

This master’s thesis deals with the topic of program source code compilation for RISC-V processor architecture. The generated object files need to be compatible with GNU binutils open source tools which are already available for the architecture. The focus is on relocations which must be correctly detected in Codasip Studio tools and transformed into RISC-V platform specific relocation types.

Weaving two worlds: A Moroccan Narrative of Adaptation in Prague

Immigration or relocation offers a valuable opportunity to explore the impact of a new environment on the cultural repertoire or identity of a specific group. This qualitative study delves into the adaptation experiences of 17 Moroccan nationals residing in Prague. The focus is placed on their adept navigation of cultural differences, the strategies employed to overcome challenges during the adaptation process, and the revelation of the pivotal role played by social networks and support systems in their transition to Prague life. A carefully designed semi-structured interview protocol was used to gather detailed data. The data analysis followed the principles of constructive grounded theory methodology, aiming to develop a deep understanding and identify patterns in the collected information. Through systematic coding and continuous comparison, several significant themes emerged from the data: Cultural Dichotomy: Navigating Two Worlds (a); Bonds of Belonging: Building Bridges with Fellow Moroccans (b); Chasing Integration: Struggles and Strategies in Prague (c), Unveiling Identities: Negotiating Individuality in a Foreign Land (d).

Relocation as a solution to the EU migration crisis

1 Relocation as a Solution to the EU Migration Crisis Abstract Asylum law has traditionally been perceived as a sensitive area of state policy. For this very reason, for a long time, it was mostly excluded from the process of European integration. However, the development of the internal market and the removal of internal borders have ultimately necessitated some degree of harmonisation of asylum and migration policies amongst the Member States. Consequently, there have been several major increases in EU competence in the field of asylum and migration since the 1990s. This has eventually led to the creation of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). Yet, a prolonged lack of political will to introduce a major reform of the CEAS and to duly implement the principle of solidarity has over the years resulted in serious systemic deficiencies. These defects, in particular the uneven distribution of responsibility between the Member States, have fully shown during the EU migration crisis. This far-reaching crisis has translated into several ad hoc solutions, including the use of an emergency EU competence to adopt temporary measures under Art. 78(3) SFEU (ex Art. 64(2) TEC), which had not been used until then. The convergence of film and architecture. The case of Prague

This dissertation examines the as yet untethered practice of the convergence of film and architecture in public municipal spaces against the backdrop of the idea of the relocation of the moving picture. Since this is an interdisciplinary practice whose forms and operations are influenced by a host of dynamics, the initial film perspective is supplemented by related themes from the spheres of architecture, public municipal space, and the organisation of culture and the applied arts, including advertising. The wide range of subjects covered in this dissertation is given focus by narrowly localised research examining the situation in Prague from the 1990s until 2010. Along with the case study, the chapters devoted to the discursive field form a progress report on the situation as regards this particular media practice, the outputs of which are subject to a short half-life that considerably limits the possibility of archiving them. The structure of the case study is derived from a specific classificatory framework and is close to the "catalogue" format, determined by a series of questions - who participated on the convergence of film and architecture and where, when and how. Sharing the Refugee Burden through Relocation: Attitudes of the States of the Visegrad Group

This bachelor thesis deals with refugee burden-sharing by mandatory relocation mechanism in the European Union and with positions of the states of the Visegrad Group on the issue. The topic is limited to 2015 in terms of time. Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, that is to say, were prominent opponents of the refugee relocation plan as one of the proposed and finally adopted solutions to the so-called refugee crisis in the EU. The aim of this thesis is to answer the question whether the states attitudes on sharing the refugee burden undergone some evolution and whether publicly declared reasons for these attitudes correspond to the empirical situation. For this purpose is provided a reconstruction of the most significant milestones of adoption of the relocation mechanism, including the attitudes and publicly declared reasons of the Visegrad states, which are then analyzed in terms of the empirical situation. The outcome of the thesis is that states of the Visegrad Group held integrated negative attitude consistently during 2015 with only one exception - Poland agreement with the proposal submitted to the European Council on 22 September - and most of the reasons given for this negative attitude are really based on the empirical situation, though always only in certain aspects of the...
