High order numerical method in modelling and control systems

The dissertation thesis deals with Evolution optimization of control algorithms. The first part of the thesis describes the principles and partial methods of evolution optimization methods especially those used in two-level transplant evolution method. Later the grammatical evolution method is described, which modified algorithm became impulse for creation of transplant evolution method. The transplant evolution method and its two-level modification are new evolutionary algorithms proposed in this work, which were used for optimization of structure and parameters of general controllers control algorithms. The transplant evolution algorithm and its extended two-level modification are described in detail in next chapters. The proper settings of evolutionary algorithms are important for minimization the time of optimization and for finds results approaching the global optimum. For proper setting the parameters of differential evolution was created meta-evolution algorithm that is described in chapter named meta-evolution. The basic concepts of control, chosen methods of system identification and controller parameters settings are described in next part. This part describes algorithms of digital controllers and some specific methods uses in digital control. The demonstrations of control algorithm optimizations of various types of controllers are showed in experimental part. The optimized algorithms of general controllers are compared with various types of PSD controllers which were set by various algebraic methods or differential evolution for various models of systems. In the conclusion of this work is stated a recommendation for further development of evolutionary optimization of controllers are focusing on parallel and distributed computing.
Adaptive controllers with principles of artificial intelligence
Pitra, Michal ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on an adaptive control, especially in a self-tuning controller area. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with identification methods of the adaptive control. The recursive least squares algorithm and the neural network method are the most popular identification methods. These methods are contrasted and the identification quality evaluation is done. The second part compares various types of the adaptive controllers with a non-adjustable PSD controller. The adaptive controllers are investigated from the various identification method point of view. The user graphic interface was realized for the identification and regulatory part. The time behavior of system responses after incoming disturbance and dynamic process changes during simulation systems control is compared with a physical model connected to B&R PLC. The comparison is done with the application of Matlab/Simulink program.

Pavelka, František ; Kárník, Jan (referee) ; Fic, Miloslav (advisor)
The main objective of this bachelor´s thesis is to list briefly the most common types of water turbines and explain the construction and especially regulation of Kaplan water turbine. Second task is to describe individually both regulatory mechanisms and movements in the machine during the regulation by distributor and by blades of runner wheel. The next intention is to describe the influence of regulation on the efficiency curve and further briefly explain and compare the modern control systems of turbine regulation with the old way using the centrifugal regulator.
Modulation of plasmacytoid dendritic cell function: role of immunoreceptors TIM-3 and BDCA-2
Font Haro, Albert ; Hirsch, Ivan (advisor) ; Němečková, Šárka (referee) ; Saláková, Martina (referee)
Albert Font Haro ABSTRACT Modulation of plasmacytoid dendritic cell function: role of immunoreceptors TIM-3 and BDCA-2 Plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) are key players in the antiviral response as well as in linking innate and adaptive immune response. They express endosomal toll-like receptors 7 and 9, which can detect ssRNA and unmethylated CpG DNA, respectively. Due to the constitutive expression of the transcription factor IRF7, pDCs are able to rapidly produce massive quantities of type I (α, β, ω) and type III (1, 2, 3, 4) interferons (IFN-I and IFN-III) as well as pro- inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1, IL-6 and TNF-α. After maturation, they also function as antigen-presenting cells. Despite intense research, the mechanisms of IFN and pro-inflammatory cytokines production and regulation are still poorly understood. Using the pDC cell line GEN2.2 and also primary human pDCs, we shed light on the role of kinases MEK and SYK in IFN-I production and regulation. We found that SYK is not only involved in the regulatory receptor (RR)-mediated BCR-like pathway that represents the negative regulation of IFN-I and IFN-III secretion but also in the positive TLR7/9-mediated signal transduction pathway that leads to IFN-I production, representing the immunogenic function. We also found that MEK plays a...

Methods of Investment in International Private Law Dissertation thesis is structured into 9 Sections. First section deals with reasons why entrepreneurs use international holdings: regulative, questions of taxation and legal system reasons. Second section describes legal sources applicable for the analyzed issues. Third section summarizes some of the risks relating to use of international holding companies, namely risk of breaching the criminal law or circumventing other legal rules. Apart from legal risks, there are economic risks to be mitigated. The risks mentioned are systematic risk (e.g., bankruptcy of the state) and personal risk relating to the foreign managers (incompetency, fraud). Fifth section deals with typical transactions in the group of companies relating to financing by banks and bods issuance. Briefly analyzed are also acquisition structures and whitewash procedure. Sixth and seventh section describe tax burdens in the Czech republic, Cyprus, Seychelles, Mauritius and number of other countries. Analysis of the jurisdictions in nine countries as to the recognition and enforcement of foreign judicial decisions is provided in the section eight. The dissertation thesis is concluded with description of the civil law applicable after the so called recodification planned in the Czech...
