Mother of a preschool child in the role of a kindergarten teacher

The aim of this study is to investigate how women who are mothers of children aged between two and seven years and are also kindergarten teachers cope with the demands of both life roles. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part contains chapters that deal with the history of pre-school teachers and the changes in motherhood in a historical context, teaching in kindergarten and motherhood today, the demands of both roles, the psychological and physical problems to which both mothers and teachers are prone, and the different ways and options for psychological hygiene. The practical part presents the results of the research investigation, which was carried out by quantitative research, specifically by questionnaire method. The following research problem was set: According to kindergarten teachers, what is the impact of motherhood on their professional life? The research sample consisted of kindergarten teachers who have a child or children between the ages of two and seven and who were also kindergarten teachers prior to their own motherhood.

This bachelor is concerned with burnout syndrome in secondary school teachers. The aim was to characterize burnout syndrome, to interpret its causes and risks, and to think about the prevalence of this syndrome among teachers working in secondary schools. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on professional sources and thus provides information and knowledge about the issue. The empirical part describes the research investigation and the results obtained regarding the burnout rate of secondary vocational school and apprenticeship teachers. The research is based on a quantitative approach and is therefore carried out using a questionnaire survey.

The Bachelor thesis "Awareness of healthy lifestyle balance for secondary school pupils" focuses on healthy lifestyle and its important components, containing a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the concept of a healthy lifestyle is defined and the essential aspects important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle are clarified. The practical part includes a questionnaire investigation which was carried out at the SSC to establish pupils' awareness and adherence to healthy lifestyles. A recommendation for teaching experience is given at the end of the work.
Mental hygiene as a burnout prevention of counseling staff

The thesis deals with the issue of mental hygiene as a burnout prevention of counselling staff working in counselling for family, marriage and human relations. It is focused on psychologists and social workers. The first part deals with the issues related to the counselling and requirements for counselling staff, as well as the specifics and risks associated with the profession, and the clientele that comes to counselling. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the issues of burnout syndrome and mental hygiene related to the profession of counselling staff. The second part of the diploma thesis is processed in the form of empirical explorative research which aim was to map the issue of mental hygiene as a prevention of burnout syndrome among counselling staff, specifically psychologists and social workers working in the counselling for the family, marriage and human relations. It was found out that the counseling staff perceive as the most burdensome administrative and organizational components of their work and unmotivated or difficult clients. On the contrary they are most enriched with the diversity and variety of client stories, meeting with clients and feeling of their meaningfulness. Psychohygiene from the Perspective of Students of Pedagogy

The bachelor thesis is focused on working with the techniques and principles of mental hygiene of students teachers. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part attention is paid to the definition of psychological hygiene, the demands of university studies, coping with emotionally demanding moments, time management and burnout syndrome. The practical part presents the results of qualitative research based on the analysis of interviews with 7 students of the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia. The aim of the investigation is to map and describe how students of teaching manage challenging situations during their studies and how they apply psychohygiene methods. The results of the investigation are compared with previous research on the topic. From the practical part, a recommendation is made that could simplify the work with mental health and facilitate the adaptation to university studies for students studying in the field of education.
Well-being of secondary school teachers in Prague

This thesis deals with the subjective perception of well-being among secondary school teachers in Prague. The theoretical part of the thesis first defines the basic concepts related to the topic, namely the definition of the concept of well-being itself, which is viewed from many sources, as it is a very broad term. At the same time, the history of the term, its inclusion in andragogical reality and the topicality of the topic are described. Subsequently, all the areas that fall under this term are described, the ways in which well-being can be measured, but also possible obstacles to well-being are described. Then the theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the teaching profession and the problematic areas that fall within this profession - demandingness, salary, prestige and others. The practical part focuses on qualitative research, in which data and opinions of individual teachers on their subjective perception of well-being, their current state, possible obstacles they perceive and what they perceive as key to their own well-being are collected through semi-structured interviews; at the same time, some additional questions are answered to reveal the relationships between different areas and well-being itself. Personality of a Teacher's Aide at a Primary School for Children with Physical Disability

The diploma thesis is focused on the personality of a teacher's aide at an elementary school for pupils with physical disabilities. In the theoretical part, the history of the profession, the personal and qualification requirements of the teacher's aide, and their job description are given. Furthermore, the theoretical part is devoted to mental hygiene, burnout syndrome, and the last part is focused on personality typologies. In the practical part, the author finds out with the help of mixed research what kind of personalities we meet in the position of teacher's aide at the elementary school for pupils with physical disabilities, in what way this profession affects their personal life and how they take care of their health due to the demanding nature of the profession. The research took place at the Elementary School of the Jedlička's Institute in Prague.
Health Social Worker in the Psychiatric Hospital

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the specifics of social work of a health and social worker in a psychiatric hospital. The partial goals are to describe the role and activity health and social worker, how the health and social worker is involved in multidisciplinary care in the psychiatric hospital and what means of psychohygiene are used by the health and social worker in the psychiatric hospital. The method of interviewing by means of half-structured interview, as well as qualitative research strategy were chosen for the research. Data analysis was performed using open coding. The research group was selected by means of a subsequent selection and consisted of four health and social workers. From the research it can be concluded that the course of health and social work in psychiatric hospitals is relatively the same. The health and social worker is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team in a psychiatric hospital, where patients are provided with comprehensive health and social care. A health and social worker in a psychiatric hospital plays a number of roles and activities. We rank among the roles service provider and social adaptation trainer and we rank among the activities providing professional social counseling to the patient and his family, participation in visits and treatment programs and meetings, support in processing documents, in solving debt problems and in solving housing problems. The employment of a health and social worker is one of the helping professions where self-care and observance of the principles of psychohygiene are necessary. The most important means of psychohygiene is supervision, which is observed by the employer of psychiatric hospitals and health and social workers participate in it at regular intervals. The bachelor thesis can be used as feedback for the facility where the research will be carried out. The results of the work can be used by health and social workers in health care and students in the field of health and social care who are considering employment in a psychiatric hospital.
