Me in Variatons
Lukešová, Eva ; Klodová, Lenka (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
My bachelor thesis, "I'm in the possibilities" is based on the multiple transformations that I created by re - modeling my face. I came from the influence of life on the physical side of a man. Because every individual has a different face which is created during aging from wrinkles through the overall character of the face. Then I applied on my self-portrait these wrinkles. I chose several types of people eg. A housewife, a murderess, a politician, a nun and an artist. My aim was to observe how would I looked If I decided to go another way in my life.
Abstract Drawing
Nováková, Bára ; Zapletal, Aleš (referee) ; Rathouský, Luděk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis consists of five large-format charcoal drawings on paper. The central motif is transformation, its possibilities, forms and ways. The drawings show constant movement and transformation, living matter, the ruling force inherent in the natural elements. The bachelor thesis has an imaginative character and works mainly with abstract morphology. But even though the drawings are abstract, I purposefully work with them in the spatiality and light modeling of objects, as with real things. In a way, the drawings illustrate the processes during which things take shape.

Pola, Pavel ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Kočandrle Bauer, Kateřina (referee) ; Vogel, Jiří (referee)
Pavel Pola, The Transformation of Faith in a Spiritual Crisis. The experience of Thérèse of Lisieux and Nicolae Steinhardt in the light of Viktor Frankl's approach, dissertation. Prague: UK ETF 2023. This thesis addresses the conditions of under what a spiritual crisis can affect a person's faith positively, and the characteristics of this crisis-affected faith. I first examine this question, based on the experience and psychological approach of Viktor E. Frankl, who speaks of an existential crisis characterised by the absence of meaning. According to Frankl, the search for meaning is the main step towards transformation in a positive direction - that is, towards an ordering of priorities, a consciousness of responsibility, a willingness to self-transcendence, and an acceptance of immutable reality. I then explore the experience of spiritual crisis in an analogous way with my two main authors on the basis of their autobiographies: Therese of Lisieux and Nicolae Steinhardt. First, I examine how their faith was formed and what their spiritual crisis looked like. Then I look for the steps they took in this crisis to help their own transformation. Finally, I describe how this transformed faith looked - and paradoxically, I come to the realisation that strength and unwavering resolve were not stronger, for it...
Videodiary
Špitálská, Anna ; Pfeiffer, Jan (advisor) ; Kuříková, Michaela (referee)
(English) This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of videodiary and its integration into art classes. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts related to video diary, such as video, diary, videoart, video installation, artistic/authorial documentary, and vlog. Furthermore, a probe into the history of visual media is conducted to create a sum of basic principles of videodocumentation. The theoretical part concludes with a comparison of selected authors dealing with the use of video in artistic production. The works of these artists are also included as inspirational material for the individual projects proposed in the didactic part. In the practical part, an author's project of a video diary presenting a video archive that explores everyday perceptions and obsessions of observation is realized. At the same time, the post-production process related to the project and the process of analysis of the individual recordings are described. The presented project is also used as an inspirational source for the projects in the didactic part of the thesis. The didactic part of the thesis presents the possibilities of using video diary in teaching. Reference is made to the outcomes in RVP and the didactic use of achievable documentation technologies. In three didactic proposals it aims to...
Proměny jihočeského pohraničí a jeho obyvatelstva po druhé světové válce v dobových pramenech a paměti obyvatel Kaplicka
MUSILOVÁ, Tereza
This thesis focuses on the post-war development of the border region marked by a violent change in its demographic structure - the displacement of the German-speaking population and the subsequent settlement of Czechs and Slovaks from the inland or abroad. The subject of the research is the transformation of the South Bohemian border region, specifically the region centred around the town of Kaplice (precisely the former district of Kaplice), which took place after the Second World War. Based on secondary literature, but especially contemporary sources and the living memory of the local inhabitants, this thesis deals with and further analyses the course of settlement and the transformation of the local society and the coexistence of different groups. It aims to analyse which national groups settled in this region and how they perceived the transformation of the borderland themselves. Based on nine stories, the thesis compares the experiences of Czech and German old settlers with the ones of newcomers. The final part of this thesis outlines possibilities of using these stories in the teaching of modern history in subjects such as Civics and Social science.
Meida approach towards informing about terrorism and its change between 2010 and 2020
Panovská, Alena ; Němcová Tejkalová, Alice (advisor) ; Macková, Veronika (referee)
Terrorist attacks are a very specific events not only for the public and security forces, but also for the media. This thesis aims to describe and explain the way the media and the perpetrators of terrorist acts behave, severally and in relation to each other, and their adaptation to changes in technology, regulation, ethics and the journalistic profession between 2010 and 2020. In order to simplify and explain a complicated topic, whose segments are very closely intertwined, this thesis identifies several key areas of transformation. The central theme is the change in the media's approach to the issue of reporting on terrorist attacks and the link between the level of reporting on these acts and their subsequent implementation, but it does not neglect the attitude of the public or public institutions either. The work builds on publications dealing with the relationship between the two subjects, but tries to examine the issue in a more practical manner and in broader context. For the Czech Republic, terrorism is a rather distant topic (although public fears of this threat permeate the country as well), which is why it has so far been dealt with mainly abroad. This thesis combines findings from Czech and foreign sources, both in the academic literature, as well as Internet sources, documents and...
