The results of the thesis showed that the adaptation is such an individual process that we cannot generalize the process of adaptation of children from foster care. However, all the participants in this study agreed that children from foster care show specific behavior and that their integration with their peers is beneficial. Research also showed that the approach of the teachers is fervent and almost always professional.
