Level of movement skills of rhytmic and artistic gymnastics competitors

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to determine and compare the level of movement abilities of female athletes in artistic and rhytmic gymnastics. It is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with a brief description of gymnastics, focusing on artistic and rhytmic gymnastics, giving an overview of their structure and components of sports performance. It includes a definition of all movement abilities and a description of motor tests. In the practical part, the testing method was used, namely the UNIFITTEST (6-60) together with a holistic motor test (Jacík's test) and then statistical methods. The motor abilities of artistic and rhytmic gymnasts aged 8-11 years were tested. The clubs GYMPRA Gymnastická akademie Praha and SK MG Chodov Praha were approached for the measurement. The measured results show that artistic gymnasts have a better level of movement abilities, because they achieved a better level in the three tests than rhytmic gymnasts. For the all-round development of a child, both are equally suitable choices and the choice of artistic or rhytmic gymnastics depends on the individual's preference.

Influence of the natural environment on the development of motor and cognitive abilities of preschool age.

This work deals with the effect the natural environment on the development of motor and cognitive abilities of preschool age. The aim is to determine the effect of education in the natural environment to the level of motor skills and knowledge of preschool children. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of preschool age. Acquaints with the development of motor skills and their training in the natural environment. It also deals with the cognitive component of the preschool child's personality and the possibilities of its development in the countryside. Zooms problems of education in a forest environment, types of learnin and methods of training in the various components of the child's personality just in a forest. The practical part is a qualitative research method used is a questionnaire survey among kindergarten teachers to determine the most commonly used educational environment, the method standardized test for 4-6-year old children to determine the level of motor skills of the children, and the method of diagnostic interview, which examined the effect of natural environments on children's knowledge. Results in agreement with reported literature confirm the positive influence of education in the natural environment for the development of several components of the child's personality.

Gymnastics programs in preelementary school

The topic of this bachelor's thesis are gymnastics programs in kindergartens. The work focuses on the use of basic gymnastics during physical activities in kindergartens. The theoretical part deals with basic knowledge of child development at preschool age, characteristics and specific features of gymnastic activities suitable for children of preschool age. This work also highlights the continuity of physical activity on "General educational program for pre-school education." The aim of this thesis is to find out which conditions kindergarten teachers have to put into gymnastic practise activities. What are their basic knowledge of motion development of preschool children and how is the realization of gymnastic activities in kindergartens implemented. This experiment investigate how a group of children can deliberatly change their level of physical skills. Measuring physical abilities of students the elementary school

The aim of this diploma thesis was to measure the physical fitness of pupils from selected elementary school in Hradec Králové. From the obtained results iw was determined whether age has an effect on pupils'performance. Futhermore, the results were compared and on the basis of statistical analysis of the data a comparison of performances of 6th and 9th grade pupils and also comparison of boys and girls. The theoretical part focuses on the topics of a healthy lifestyle, physical activity, physical fitness, physical abilities, physiological and psychological specifics in older school children. The empiric part deals with statistical data processing and their evaluation based on the results in selected physical tests from the test battery called EUROFITTEST. Based on the results and their comparison, I came to the conclusion that in six of the total eight exercises, older pupils achieve statistically significant differences compared to younger pupils. When comparing the average results of 6th and 9th grade pupils, I found that in seven out of eight tests, 9th grade pupils achieve better results than 6th grade pupils. Assessment of factors affecting gait performance in patients with cerebral palsy

Gaits is one of the most important factors affecting the quality of life and ability to self- care. This thesis assesses the effect of central movement control disorders to the walking abilities in youth patiens with cerebral palsy (CP). The theoretical part describes alterations of neuromotor system developmental and muscle characteristics in children with CP and explains the phenomenon of joint stiffness. Theoretical part also presents standardized functional tests to determine the severity of disability and provides information on increased energy intensity of walking in patients with CP. The practical part assesses the effect of central motor control disorders, muscle strength and energy expenditure of movement on the walking abilities in CP patients.

The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension - revision of research done by E. Kuruczová

The author is reviewing the research that E. Kuruczová demonstrated in her diploma thesis called The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension. The main goal of the diploma thesis Kuruczová developed another contribution to Piaget's theory of the development of moral reasoning of school-age children. Piaget's empirical data suggested that social organizations could influence orientation in their moral dimensions. Kuruczová found that in her 180 children from one school (aged 1st - 9th grade) the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game King of Deer Hunters (organized as a competition) performs ahead of the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game Hot Potato (organized as a collaboration). Furthermore, in the research, children of Kuruczová think about the stories of unjust play situations organized by "Mrs. Teacher". Even the youngest and unoriented did not argue the evaluation of the situation as a fair authority of the teacher - which, according to Piaget's theory, could assume the key role of the criterion of obedience of authority in the heteronomous understanding of the criteria of moral evaluation.
