Master's thesis deals with newly emerging forms of public preschool education. The research objective was to describe and evaluate the Center for preschool children, to characterize and compare it with the system of education in nursery schools. Evaluate their contribution to society and educational effects. Monitor vision and expectations of parents. To identify the necessary information, I used methods of observation of the educational conditions, observation of the work educator, interview with a educator, interview with the head of the Center and questionnaire for parents.
Planning of school capacity in the Central Bohemia Region

Planning of school capacity in the Central Bohemia Region Abstract The objective of this thesis is to show the connection among demographic trends and the development of the educational system in the Central Bohemia Region from a quantitative point of view. This thesis focuses on repletion of school facilities, availability of education at pre-primary and basic levels and the possibility to estimate the basic parameters of the education system in future years. The first part addresses issues of methodology and the education system in general and theoretical level. It focused on the literature and data sources on the subject, describing the educational system in the Czech Republic and the development of educational legislation, explaining the methodology used in the second part of the thesis. The second part deals with specific application to data from the Central Bohemia Region. This section shows the numbers of children in nursery schools, pupils in basic schools and repletion of school facilities found in the districts of the Central Bohemia Region. The spatial distribution of school facilities is shown by proportional symbol technique. Furthermore, differences were found within the districts of Central Bohemia Region in relation to early childhood education by statistic methods. In conclusion the numbers...
Effect of increasing the numer of children in kindergarten classes on management of the school

The final bachelor work deals with the situation of headmistresses in nursery schools , who on founder's request to make pre-school education possible for the lar- gest number of children , fill up the classes with children up to their maximum permis- sible number according to the Law 561 / 2004 Sb. ( Education Law ) The work maps hitherto headmistresses' experience concerning school management , searches for management areas and warns about the highest risk and difficulties which are connected with a large number of children at school and classes. It is based on the knowledge included in available literature, my own practice and on headmistresses' experience at nursery schools in Prague 5. Using exploatory methods and headmistresses'experience, my own research examines the areas of management which show starker effects of the distinctive raising in the number of children and the maximum capacity in classes. It considers the possibility if there is an optimum solution to solve the problem of insufficiency of posts in nursery schools with enrolling the largest possible number of children .
Issue of relationship between family and kindergarten

This thesis deals with the relationship between family and kindergarten. It is mainly focused on communication, through which there is a mutual interaction and relationship builded between teachers and parents. In the communication both actors must strive for the best possible cooperation, since only in this case they can reach their common goal, which is the smooth development and overall development of the child's personality. The theoretical part defines the concept of communication. It analyzes current family and nursery schools as an institution and deals with the relations between them. It also mentions the conflict and some types of barriers that can lead to difficulties in the interaction. The practical part is based on research done through questionnaires which was aimed to teachers and parents. The result presents their subjective evaluation of communication.
Strategy of headmaster in selection and recruitment of pedagogical staff in kindergarten

This diploma thesis deals with recruitment and selection of the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools. The theoretical part defines personnel management and characterizes its main tasks. Furthermore, it focuses on recruitment and selection of staff. It describes ways of implementations, methods and sources, which are frequently used for recruitment and selection of the teaching staff. It defines selected types of alternative nursery schools, the role of the headmaster and the teacher. The practical part is based on quantitative survey. The results of the survey describe methods and ways of implementations, which are most frequently used by headmasters or human resources officers when recruiting the teaching staff. Furthermore, the results are used for creating a general comprehensive personnel plan for recruitment and selection the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools, which can be used by headmasters of nursery schools (especially the alternative ones) or as a study material in the area of human resources.
Financial analysis of non-profit organizations in a competitive environment

The aim of the diploma thesis is to answer the question which factors influence the growth of financial capacities of non-profit organizations. To do this, I will use the methods of financial analysis and will also identify qualitative factors which, in my opinion, can influence the competitiveness of the nursery. My resources will be annual reports and co-operation with nursery managers. For the final determination of the factors that affect, I will use the questionnaire survey of parents.

Nursery schools in Tabor in the years 1948 - 2010

Subject of the thesis named Nursery Schools in the Town of Tabor between 1948 - 2010 is to describe the historical development of nursery schools in Tabor. The main goal of the thesis is to research development of Tabor's nursery schools. The thesis is divided into ten chapters. These concerns with the history and characteristic of the town Tabor, preschool institutions and its development in Bohemia, school system in Tabor, nursery schools in Tabor till 1945 and after 1945, history of four oldest nursery schools in Tabor, criteria of public holidays and children's healthcare in four oldest nursery schools in Tabor and comparison on base of chronicles. The thesis is a historical study and analysis ensuing from primary sources. There is used a historical method and primary documents and comparative methods in the thesis. The issue is research of the nursery school development in Tabor between 1948 and 2010.
