Design of end effector for automatic threading
Jiříček, Lukáš ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Szabari, Mikuláš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the design of the end effector intended for threading. The end effector should allow for position compensation and automatic tool change. It should be designed for cutting internal threads from size M5 to size M10 using taps. The weight of the end effector structure should not exceed 10 kg. At the beginning of the thesis, research was conducted in the field of end effectors. Furthermore, an analysis of the problem of threading was carried out. In the next part of the thesis, two variants of the end-effector solution were designed, from which the more advantageous solution was selected based on a multi-criteria analysis. A design and calculations were also made for this solution. An assembly drawing and production drawings of selected components were made to represent the design of the effector. At the end of the thesis, an economic evaluation of the end effector was made.
Design of end effector for handling with glass stopper
Hrnko, Lukáš ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Synek, Miloš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the structural design of the end effector for handling with the glass stopper of the hydrogen reactor of high temperature semiconductor diffusion furnace. The work includes the summary of information about semiconductor diffusion furnace, the choice of the appropriate industrial robot, the design of the end effector structural solution, the design of its supporting structure, the power and strength calculation, the design of the end effector control and economic evaluation of its production. The 3D model together with 2D production documentation which contains the assembly drawing of the individual parts of end effector was created on the basis of the end effector design.
Analysis of the Delta robot workspace
Kočan, Michal ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to analyze the workspace Delta robot, depending on the number and length of his arms. Introduction is focused on a general description of the problems in the form of theoretical part. In another part are solving problems about kinematic problems. Another section is devoted to linking NI LabVIEW SolidWorks. Using connection NI LabVIEW with the active module SoftMotion and SolidWorks interface was simulated movements Delta robot in space.
Design of a Robotic End Effector
Hesina, Ondřej ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis analyses the possibility of grasping of the object by an industrial robot KUKA KR 16. Gripping object is a plate-shaped cast made from aluminium alloy with inner hole. After analysing the options is selected the most suitable option, designed end effector for bin-picking method and use already have been used grippers in practice.
Design of Robot end effector with automatic tool exchange
Jirges, Radek ; Chalupa, Jan (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to design an end effector for a small robot for testing of devices with a touchscreen. The effector has to communicate with the robot via serial interface and provide feedback about used downforce. Another requirement was possibility of automatic tool change. Measuring of downforce, signal processing, and communication with robot ensures custom electronics based on STM32 microprocessor and piezoresistive sensor. The mechanism of tool change was inspired by the system used with industrial robots but customized for this application. The result of this thesis is a functional prototype of a stylus for devices with a touchscreen which provides feedback about the downforce on display and possibility of automatic tool change. The main benefit of this solution is the possibility of changing the tool for the one with one or more styluses for testing gesture-based interface what is indispensable in these days.
Manipulation operations with industrial robots
Jašíček, Radek ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with industrial robot grippers. It discusses various types of grippers detailing the electric and pneumatic and comparing them with each other based on technical and economic criteria. Part of this work is an analysis of a material handling operation with industrial robot along with the creation of a control program for this operation.
Chalder for grinder Jupiter 125
Novák, Aleš ; Jansa, Jiří (referee) ; Blecha, Radim (advisor)
Thesis deal with proposal construction Chalder for centreless grinding machine Jupiter 125. Chalder is designed for workpiece with maximum average 12 mm, maximum longitude 120 mm and mass 0,1 kg. In the thesis are described components that were used at solving and intended time exchanges workpiece, the economics estimation and processed needed design documentation.
End Effectors in Robotics
Hradil, Jan ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis provides a summary of end effectors used in industrial robotics. The classification is made from various points of view, but the most important one is according to the industrial application. Regarding previous condition, an analysis of gripper modules is performed. Those units are representatives of the widest application – manipulation. Further on there is shown a possibility of connection between a gripper and a robot in laboratories of Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics and calculation of gripping forces. This thesis contains a summary of the most used industrial robots and manipulators as well.
Design of virtual model robotic workplace
Chromčík, Adam ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a virtual model of a robotic workplace. Robot and robotic workplaces are researched. Further, the design and safety phases of these workplaces are discussed. A conceptual model of the robotic workplace with robot IRB 4400/60 is designed, which is placed in the machine laboratory C1 of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. The virtual model is created in Process Simulate 13.0. It is designed to manipulate the dice, weld and operate the vertical machine tool.
Design of end effector for a robotic cell
Machala, Lukáš ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals with the design of end effectors for object manipulation within robotic cell located at the Department of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics, Brno University of Technology. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to a summary of the current state of knowledge in the field of end effectors. The practical part deals with draft of several variants of the solution, from which is chosen optimal variant by the method of multicriteria analysis, after which follows the construction of individual end effectors. The work includes individual 3D models of these end effectors and a rack for their storage, the work also includes assembly and part drawings. The work ends with an economic evaluation, discussion of achieved results and a conclusion.
