3D printing with silver and its use in jewellery

Hlavním cílem této práce je najít vhodný typ aditivní tiskárny, která by byla schopna kvalitního 3D tisku stříbrných šperků. Práce seznámí čtenáře s několika typy aditivních tiskáren (FDM, SLA, DMLS a dalších), jejich využitím v praxi a fyzikálním a chemickým chováním stříbra při aditivním tisku. Důraz bude kladen na praktické uplatnění těchto speciálních 3D tiskáren, a to především ve šperkařství. Poslední část práce se pokusí zodpovědět otázku, zda je technicky a ekonomicky proveditelné sestavit a bezpečně provozovat danou 3D tiskárnu v menších firmách či v domácím prostředí.
Jewellery as object-object as jewellery (theoretical-practical work)

Author´s diploma thesis deals with the topic of jewellery. Theoretical part introduces term "jewellery as an object" to the reader. It also discusses jewellery as such, its origins and history in outlines. The thesis touches the development of Czech jewellery, selected authors are mentioned, such as Eva Eisler or Milan Knížák, their work included. Contemporary jewellery is then introduced through the work of selected artists, who use the theme of imprinting into their work. Imprinting of artist's palm is the main motive of the practical part, from which she creates a number of porcelain artefacts in the form of objects and jewellery.

This diploma thesis is focusing on drafting an improving marketing strategy for company IRD Group s.r.o. which deals with retail jewellery sales in the city Jihlava and also online with the new e-shop. The first part is focusing on the theoretical knowledge associated with this topic. Second part, using theoretical knowledge, is focusing on the analysis on the current situation in the company. In the internet area and on the overall marketing strategy situation. From these facts and dates we found out is created the 3th and last part of these diploma thesis which is focused on the suggestion for improvement a marketing strategy. These improvement, should lead to the acquisition to some new costumers, increase a profit for the company and increase a competitiveness of the company on the market.
Design of Company Marketing Plan

The bachelor thesis focuses on marketing plan design for the chosen company HEMATIT Košice, s.r.o., which deals with production and sale of jewellery. The current situation of the company will be identified by means of analysis of the company’s external and internal environment. Based on these analyses and their outputs, the SWOT analysis will be created at the end of the second chapter. Results of this analysis will be the main input for compiling the marketing plan. Activities of the plan should lead to improvement in advertising and in market situation of the company.

Bachelor thesis The Company Pandora on The Czech market in 2010-2014 deals with the company PANDORA and its marketing strategy and communication forms, which the company applies on the Czech market. It also describes the entry of the brand on the Czech market and compares it with its directly competitive brand Trollbeads. Next section is devoted to a description and analysis of the main tools of communication mix which the brand utilized within its communications during the specified period. The last section is devoted to quantitative research that was conducted to obtain information on the status of PANDORA on the Czech market, purchase motives and loyalty of its customers. The conclusion of this thesis is a detailed description and analysis of the marketing activities of Pandora partly supported by research results.

Ancient Jewellery of Central Asia and its relations to the Jewellers' art of Ancient Mediterranean.

Central Asia, crossroads of ancient trade routes known as the Silk Road, absorbed for centuries the pulses of travelling cultural influences and created an environment for the existence of original artistic expression, which can be seen in jewellery making as well. The dissertation thesis deals with analysis of the findings from excavation units and individual pieces of jewellery, in most cases made of gold, which were often largely inspired by the culture of the ancient Mediterranean. The historical - geographic perspective of the work is focused primarily on territory of ancient Bactria and Gandhara - southern part of the former Soviet republics of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, then northern and eastern Afghanistan and northern Pakistan. These areas were in the past centers of military activities and political formations, followed up in many aspects on the Mediterranean traditions. These political formations contributed distinctly to the dissemination and preservation of some elements of ancient cultural heritage in Central Asian architecture, sculpture and other fine arts and crafts. Most jewelry findings come from a fairly turbulent period of the 1st century AD, when the territory of Central Asia saw the progressive formation of Kushan Empire. Variability of grave goods in female burials in the middle La Téne period in Bohemia

Presented diploma thesis is devoted to the analysis of the female graves of the La Tène period in Bohemia, more particularly it relates to quantity, material and placement of every objects of the grave goods. Observed variability indicates time, regional and in some mesure social differences which influenced the composition of the grave set. Within the comparison, the graves from Moravia, Slovakia and Austria have been also taken into consideration.
