Author: Adam Pavlů Title: Using regeneration procedures in football by young and elite players Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to find out the use of individual regeneration procedures in active players in the adolescent and male categories. Next, find out how individual regeneration procedures affect the psychological and physical side of each player, how it makes them feel and how it affects their sports performance. Methods: The thesis is processed in the form of a systematic research. Domestic and foreign literary resources and scholarly foreign articles were used to process the theoretical part. I obtained the material basis for the processing of the practical part through the questionnairy survey. Results: The final use of regeneration procedures within this club is not very favourable. Less than three quarters of players (68,2 %) do not have the option of using any regeneration procedure. In terms of individual regeneration, exactly half of the players (50 %) do not use sports massage for recovery. The same statistics were shown for sauna regeneration. More than half of the players (54,5 %) also do not use whirlpool baths, hardening or other regeneration procedures. Conversely, most players had abundant representation of regeneration through movement. Most players...

The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to elaborate a case report of a patient with the above diagnosis including the design of therapy and to put the design of therapy into practice and then to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy in this particular patient. Methods: This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, in which the theoretical knowledge related to the above diagnosis is included, concerning anatomy, traumatology and diagnostic and therapeutic options. The second part is the practical part, which was prepared on the basis of the professional practice in the Faculty Thomayer Hospital, in the period from 22.1. to 16.2.2024. It deals with a case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with a fracture of the distal part of the femur, including the initial kinesiological analysis, the therapeutic plan, the performed therapies, the output of kinesiological analysis and the evaluation of the effect of...

The practical part aims to develop a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient diagnosed with a distal radius fracture, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures guided by knowledge acquired during the bachelor's degree in physiotherapy. Methods The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on a review of professional sources and includes a description of the anatomy and kinesiology of the forearm, as well as a description of fracture-related issues, their classification, specifically focusing on distal radius fractures and their examination, treatment methods, and physiotherapeutic procedures recommended by current professional sources for patients with this diagnosis. Steklík, Aleš ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Novák, Dominik (referee)
Title: Compensatory exercises as one of the possible tools for injury prevention in ice hockey players Objectives: The aim of this thesis was primarily to identify and describe the most common injuries occurring in ice hockey players based on professional articles and available literature. Subsequently, the work was aimed at creating a stack of compensatory exercises (relaxation, strengthening, stretching) that could lead to a reduction in the risk of injuries. Methodology: The work was based on an empirical character. The findings from the literature were used. On the basis of the literature, consultations with physiotherapists and own experience, compensatory exercises were designed, which focused on the prevention of injuries in ice hockey players or on the elimination of imbalances or on exercises typical for the development of ice hockey players. Conclusion: Based on the literature and articles, it has been found that the most common injuries in ice hockey players are due to overload and contact with an opponent. Ice hockey players spend most of their time on the ice during games or training or spend time on conditioning. However, they forget about compensatory exercises. As a result, muscle imbalances occur due to unilateral loading and this causes many negative changes in the musculoskeletal...
