Pupil with hyperkinetic disorder in elementary school
Hejhalová, Tereza ; Blažková, Veronika (advisor) ; Linková, Marie (referee)
The work is focused on the issue of hyperkinetic disorder. The theoretical part is a search of literature, which describes the basic concepts and principles for easy orientation in the topic. In the practical part of the work, the knowledge gained from the theoretical part was used. The practical part consists of an analysis of the school system, the scope of work of a teaching assistant and a case study of an eleven-year-old elementary school student who was diagnosed with ADHD. Thanks to the cooperation with the pupil's family and her class teacher in primary school, the opportunity arose to draw on their personal experience of working with the pupil. Both the child's mother and the class teacher provided their answers in semi-structured interviews. Thanks to this, information was obtained about the student's behavior in the school environment, at home and in the environment of her peers. The author's own interpretation thus works with the results of professional research as well as from the personal experiences of the two people most significantly involved in the education of the pupil and in the building of her intellect. The aim of the work was to create an insight into how to work with these students and to create for them the most effective environment for learning in the conditions of...

Title: Evaluation of the motoric docility level of adolescents with specific learning and behavior disorders. Author: Bc. Ladislav Kaňka Advisor: prof. Ing. Václav Bunc, CSc. Aim of the thesis: The aim of this study is to evaluate the motoric docility level of pupils with specific learning a behavior disorders through the Iowa-Brace test and to compare the results with data from pupils without these disorders. Method: Testing motoric abilities of 13-14 year old (adolescents) with specific learning a behavior disorders through the Iowa-Brace test and later comparing to pupils who do not have any specific learning and behavior disorders. The data was processed with the program IBM SPSS Statistics 24 and then evaluated. Results: Specific learning and behavior disorders have a significant negative impact on the motoric docility level of an individual, which has been proved by poorer performance of these pupils in a test studying the motoric docility level of probands (Iowa-Brace test). The difference in the overall performance in the Iowa-Brace test depends more on the specific learning and behavior disorders than on the sex of the individual. The biggest difference between pupils with and without specific learning and behavior disorders was noticed during the exercise "Turek" (this exercise assesses...
Integration of ADHD children in preschool age
HRDLIČKOVÁ, Lucie
ADHD Syndrome represents an attention disorder linked to hyperactivity taking shape since early childhood. The main aim is a description of the ADHD syndrome in children at pre-school age, and identification of whether it is or is not beneficial. One main research question is posed: Is integration of children with ADHD at pre-school age beneficial? Further, three other partial questions are posed: Is integration with the suport of a teaching assistant beneficial to the student? Is integration of children with ADHD beneficial to their classmates? Are teachers working with children informed enough about ADHD? The practical part of this bachelor thesis is processed using qualitative research method together with a group of teaching assistants having experience educating children with ADHD syndrome, implemented via the technique of a semi-structured interview. The first part of interviews is focused on the general data about informants. The second part is focused on the benefits of integrating children with ADHD at pre-school age. Questions in the third part are related to the benefits of integration of children with ADHD with the support of a teaching assistant. The fourth part of the interview is oriented toward the benefits of ADHD child integration for other students, and the last part is focused on teachers´ awareness about ADHD syndrome. Interviews are analysed and synthesised. The thesis reaches the following finding: the benefits of integrating children with ADHD cannot be unequivocally evaluated, while the benefits of integration with teaching assistant support can be evaluated as unequivocally positive. Integration benefits for classmates cannot be unequivocally evaluated. Further, the thesis finds out that teachers are not informed enough about ADHD syndrome.

Social work with children with ADHD and their families
SAMOHEJLOVÁ, Klára
My thesis is theoretical-empirical and deals with ADHD syndrome and how social work can help people with this diagnosis. First, it describes the syndrome in general with all the manifestations, and how the diagnosis proceeds. The thesis underlines how such a diagnosis affects parents and fundamental family functions. It also offers a brief guide for proper educational guidance, maps the possibilities of therapy for both pharmaceutical and alternative therapies, and describes in more detail what social work offers in the care of people with ADHD but also members of families with children who have ADHD. At the end it mentions the differences between France and United States of America, how they address this issue.
ADHD children in preschool age
Mikuluvková, Ludmila ; Mužáková, Monika (advisor) ; Mlčková, Marie (referee)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is ADHD children in preschoolage. I chose this topic because I was very interested in it. During my pedagogical practice at kindergarten, it occurred to me that I had come across an "uncontrollable" boy who had become an impulse to develop this work. The theoretical part summarizes the current knowledge about ADHD and the main point is its specificity at pre-school age. In the practical part I focused on research, which will be carried out by a qualitative survey - specifically a semi-structured interview. This will be recorded on the recorder and then overwritten in the text version. Using the results of the interviews, I want to clarify the research questions. The aim is to find out how parents, nursery schools and other professionals work together. I want to find out from parents of children and teachers whether they have been informed about ADHD and how, as well as information on the approach of teachers, methods and educational approaches that have proven to children with ADHD. The results confirmed the hypothesis of collaboration, awareness and educational attitudes. Parents were not informed before diagnosis. Teachers and parents evaluate cooperation very well, describe what could be improved in cooperation. Teachers in the collaboration point to the...

The last chapter is ADHD Child in the school, where I describe the sense of the teacher for ADHD child and how relations the family and the school have, possibilities how to help, support for parents and their ADHD children. The qualitative method which means interview was chosen for this research. The content of the practical part is to analyse and make dialogues with the parents of ADHD children with the aim to answer on given research questions and to fulfil the aim of my dissertation. Interviews was realised with four respondents. With one of them there was also respondent´s husband. The respondents´ children´s age was from 6 to 12 years, 3 boys and 1 girl. Interviews were rewritten word to word by direct transcription towards written form and subsequently were elaborated by open coding with the subsequent setting cards. Respondents described similar characteristics their children with ADHD as hyperactivity, inattentiveness, impulsiveness and madness. Also they agreed that child´s ADHD negatively influenced the relationship with their partners.
