Motivation of Adults to Formal Education

This bachelor thesis is focused on formal education of adults, mainly on motivation of adults for returning to formal education system. It contains basic terms and definitions (lifelong learning, adult person, adult education, formal education, motivation and barriers) using professional literature of Czech and foreigner authors. The thesis brings overview of possibilities that adults have on all educational system levels. Also it describes the barriers that the adults have to face when they are interested in continuing education. The thesis includes quantitative empirical survey carried out in the form of a poll, collected data were analyzed and commented. The survey presents specific kinds of adult during continuing formal education. Home Preparation of Gifted Young Learner

The Bachelor's thesis deals home preparation of gifted young learners. The thesis is divided into two sections, a theoretical part and the empirical one. The theoretical part deals mainly with the explanation of basic terminology related to this issue, characterization, identification and diagnosis of gifted young learner and education opportunities. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter on home preparation. The empirical part comprises of a qualitative research to describe home preparation of gifted young learner, its specifics and check the used school materials and supplies that students use. The empirical part of the strategy of research is a case study and research method of semi-structured interview. School choice by parents of children and pupils with progressive muscle disease

This thesis explains the concept of progressive muscular disease. Describes the development of the disease, different types and methods of treatment. It also deals with the problems of the educational opportunities of children with limited mobility in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first chapter deals with the definition of the concept of progressive muscular disease. The second part describes the laws on education and educational facilities for children with disabilities in our country. It also deals with special educational needs and support in the educational process. The third part describes the family as a determinant in the choice of school. Determining what factors and to what extent, affect parents in deciding on the future of education.
Social and Psychological Situation in a Family with a Combined Disability Child

The thesis focuses on social and psychological situation in a family with a child with combined disabilities, starting with the birth of the child and following reactions of the parents, family and society to this new situation. The thesis deals with different problems in the area of decision making in further possible steps concerning the child care and also with the way how to deal with given problems. The aim is to point to the parents who have a child with combined disability and to illustrate their situation from the beginning, showing how they cope with the situation. The practical part contains a research which is based on the questionnaire filled in by parents who have a child with combined disability. The questionnaire focuses above all on the parents, their situation and the change of their lives after the birth of their child, partnership, environment, help and other organizations that frequent the parents and their children.
