Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na sféru formálního vzdělávání dospělých, především pak na motivaci dospělých k návratu do formálního vzdělávacího systému. Je zde vymezen základní pojmový aparát (celoživotní učení, dospělý jedinec, vzdělávání dospělých, formální vzdělávání, motivace a bariéry) s využitím odborné literatury českých i zahraničních autorů. Práce přináší přehled možností, které dospělí v oblasti formálního vzdělávání mají, a to na všech úrovních vzdělávacího systému. Zároveň jsou popsány bariéry, kterým dospělí musí čelit při zájmu o vzdělávání. Součástí práce je kvantitativní empirické šetření provedené formou ankety, nashromážděná data byla vyhodnocena a dále okomentována. Výzkumné šetření předkládá konkrétní motivace a bariéry u dospělých v průběhu dalšího formálního vzdělávání. It contains basic terms and definitions (lifelong learning, adult person, adult education, formal education, motivation and barriers) using professional literature of Czech and foreigner authors. The thesis brings overview of possibilities that adults have on all educational system levels. Also it describes the barriers that the adults have to face when they are interested in continuing education. The thesis includes quantitative empirical survey carried out in the form of a poll, collected data were analyzed and commented. The survey presents specific kinds of adult during continuing formal education.
