Multidisciplinary cooperation in nursing homes

7 This diploma thesis deals with the topic of multidisciplinary cooperation in nursing homes. At the beginning of the work, a chapter on nursing service is prepared, where everything related to i tis described. From the nursing service, the text of the thesis moves to the group of seniors, old age and aging, where all important concepts are defined. The next chapter deals with the quality standards of social services, and the following, the fourth, shows what other social services can be used by people belonging to the PS target group. In the fifth chapter, the thesis deals with multidisciplinary cooperation, the composition of the multidisciplinary team and the experts who can be part of the team. The is also a code of ethics. Chaptet six describes two facilities, specifically two nursing gomes, where the research was conducted. The chapter is supplemented by price lists in Annexes 3 and 4. The penultimate chapter, entitled Long- term care, i salso important for this work, as this topic is again closely related to nursing services and, above all, multidisciplinary teams and cooperation between individua members. Teachers' preparedness to educate children/pupils with chronic diseases in the context of inclusive education

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of Teachers' reddines for a children/pupils suffering from a chronic disease within the inclusive education. The theoretical part of the thesis contains three chapters, the first chapter sheds light on characterization of developmental specifics of a child in preschool and younger school age. The two following chapters deal with general issues and characteristics of chronic diseases. Individual chronic diseases are highlighted, namely any allergic diseases, celiac disease, type 1 diabetes and epilepsy. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on the definition of inclusive education. The society's stance to the disabled in a historical context is described here, and the legislative definition of inclusive education is also mentioned. The last issue mentioned is a child with a chronic disease in the process of inclusive education. A quantitative method was used for the research part of the thesis, namelly an online questionnaire survey. The main goals of the research are to find out whether teachers are sufficiently familiar with the issues of chronic diseases, which sources do they use to get information from, and how successfully do parents bring awareness and cooperate with teacher about their child's illness.
The perspective of the classroom climate regarding a child suffeing from a chronic illness

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of a pupil with chronic disease and his/her impact on the class environment. In the theoretical part, the characteristics of selected chronic diseases are processed, as well as basic information about the disease in connection with the psyche. It is followed by school legislation concerning pupils with special educational needs, the topic of the school class as a social group and basic information regarding the environment of the class. In the practical part, interviews with chronically ill pupils and their class teachers are processed as well as the questionnaires which were filled out by classmates of the pupil with the disease. The research survey focuses mainly on the feelings of the pupil with chronic illness in the school environment, the attitude of the teacher towards the ill pupil and its impact on mutual relations in the classroom. Pupils with chronic diseases who participated in our research survey have no problem with integration into the classroom.
Kindergarten teachers' knowledge of first aid

The bachelor's thesis in its theoretical part presents the topic of first aid at the legislative level and also offers the principles of first aid in acute complications of selected chronic diseases and injuries. The principles are adapted to the role of the teacher of preschool children. The practical part of the work summarizes the results of a questionnaire survey of 144 teachers of kindergartens, especially in the southern part of the Czech Republic and finds out what is the level of knowledge in the field of providing first aid to children by kindergarten teachers. Based on these responses, it turned out that respondents with less than 21 years of experience (average test success rates of 67,5% and 67,7%) were more aware of the correct provision of first aid according to current recommendations than the group of teachers with more than 21 years of experience (average success rate of the test 62,8%), or that the respondents manage to provide first aid for injuries (e.g. falls from a height or burns) rather than for complications of chronic diseases (e.g. allergies or epilepsy). Furthermore, the survey showed that not all teachers are regularly trained in first aid.

This thesis called 'Socio-Pedagogical Assistance to Partially-Autonomous Patients and to Their Families" (as conducted at GARC Kladno, s.r.o.). aims to map the health and social situation of partially-autonomous patients (hereafter PAP) as a result of a chronic condition, a disability or geriatric conditions in the context of their actual living environment. The theoretical part deals with health and social challenges confronted by PAP focusing on social and individual rehabilitation in conducting daily life. It is divided into five parts. Part One describes health issues faced by PAP with emphasis on particular issues which affect this group. Part Two defines the basic terminology of disability and autonomy.Through work experience it was possible to provide first-hand observation of particular issues which affect this group, e.g. physical disability as a factor limiting autonomy. Both subjective and objective observations of this group can weigh heavily on the value of the outcome. Part Three places PAP in his environment and at the same time evaluates the role of the family members and various services available to PAP under the Social Services Act No. 108/2008 Coll. Attitudes of parents and teachers in the education of a pupil with a chronic disease at the 1 st stage of a regular primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the attitude of parents and teachers of pupils with chronic diseases in the attenuation of compulsory school attendance at the 1st stage of ordinary primary school. The objective of the work is to identify the problems that parents and teachers of chronically ill students encounter during the educational process. From this basis, the purpose is also to find the basis for the best possible cooperation between parents and teachers. The theoretical idea is represented by individual chronic diseases, namely asthma, cystic fibrosis, pediatric oncological diseases, type 1 diabetes mellitus and epilepsy. In addition, the legislative framework for the education of pupils with these diseases, the methodology of working with pupils with chronic diseases and a search of domestic and foreign research conducted on a similar topic are addressed. The methodological part is devoted to qualitative research, the main goal of which is to find out the attitudes of teachers and parents to the educational process of pupils suffering from the above diseases. Diabetes mellitus 1. typu u žáků základních škol - vybrané společenskovědní aspekty

This bachelor thesis deals with changes that occur when diabetes mellitus type 1 is found out in children (younger and older) in their school age. What impact of disease is on child himself, his parents or relatives and if his situation at school is affected as well. In the theoretical part I mention basic information about this metabolic disease and I try to describe some of the problems which are connected with this chronic illness. How the life of family changes especially the patient´s one itself. What difficulties and complications are possible and what measures are suitable for school and after-school care of such a child. The aim of this thesis is to describe mentioned themes using case interpretations. Interviews and questionnaire surveys with patients or their relatives will be carried out as a metodology. I find expert analysis of paediatric diabetologists to be very important. Finally the goal of this thesis is attempt to look up possible generalizations of this disease from different points of view - individual perception and experience of particular respondents.
Ulcerous colitis and its psychosocial impact upon adolescent

The thesis deals with the topic of ulcerative colitis and its psychosocial impact upon adolescents. The main goal of the thesis is to identify, through qualitative research, the psychosocial factors that influence the adolescent in his everyday life and to map the situations that are most difficult for the teenager. The topic is based on the theoretical part, which consists of information about the diagnosis and course of ulcerative colitis, treatment methods and complications connected with them. The theoretical part also deals with describing the psychosocial factors of ulcerative colitis and describing adolescence as the stage of an individual's life. The research part describes a qualitative research method that answers the main research question. The output of a qualitative research survey is 7 identified areas that are most influenced by ulcerative colitis during adolescence.
