Compensation of geometric distortion of electrophoretic gel image

This master thesis is engaged in problematics of creation and compensation of geometric distortions in 1D agarose electrophoresis. This master thesis analyze the problematics of cause of these distortions and summarize the theory needed for compensation of these distortions. Based on acquired theory and created electrophoretic phantoms, the master thesis contains several suggestions for compensation of incurred distortions. These suggestions are recreated into functions, which are connected into a functional user interface for gel image analysis and geometric distortions compensation.

Main theme of this bachelor's thesis is to design and to implement Internet portal of musical band in PHP programming language using database server MySQL and to apply it of traffic. Internet portal realizes presentation duty and offers dynamic control of information for band members. There is provided an occasion for posting stories into wide spectrum of forums, voting in inquiries and registering into user's list in portal.

Marketing strategy plays an essential role, not only in the field of ordinary busi- ness, but also in the field of the music industry, where it is thanks to a quality mar- keting strategy that new musical figures are created, who will establish themselves with their work, not only in their city or country, but also thanks to social media and the rapid spread of information all over the world. This bachelor's thesis deals with the first steps in this journey, where the metal band Coincidence from Brno stands as a pattern. With the help of the available literature, the basic specifics, tools and trends are defined in the theoretical part. In practical work, emphasis is placed on consumer behavior, especially in the field of digital music distribution, and on the overall development of the music market in recent years. All this will result in the suggestion of a marketing strategy for this band, after the application of which the number of listeners will increase, which will lead to the monetization of the band's activity.

Appart from displaying time and date, this device can analyze physical activity and body functions regarding sport activities. Designed product meets technical and ergonomical requirements, brings inovations in charging and putting on. Simultaneously an original design was achieved. Designed charging mechanism allows more comfortable use thanks to ability to charge the device while still on hand.

This bachelor thesis is focused on performing in a band The Tap Tap and its value in the life of a person with a physical disability. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The first chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the definition of physical disability. It describes basic terminology, and division of movement disorders and introduces social-psychological aspects of the physical disability. The second chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the social inclusion of people with a physical disability. It describes models of approaches to people with disability, and the impact of physical disability on family, partnership, sexuality, and employment. Further, the chapter describes social care and services and organizations and associations for people with a physical disability. The third chapter is devoted to the introduction of the band The Tap Tap, its history, and the present. The practical part is realised as qualitative research. Methodical procedures and comparison of various techniques of taping in the area of the knee joint

This bachelor thesis has theoretical and didactic character and it concerns with methodical procedures of taping in the area of a knee joint. Analytical part was made on basis of analysis of scientific literature, and it contains detail description of anatomy, kinesiology, and the most frequent injuries of the knee joint. In the thesis there is also described method of taping itself, division of the taping tapes on flex and stiff tapes. Next there are described concrete methods of taping, functionality, and principles of correct taping. Crucial part of this thesis is synthetic part. There are described and compared methodical procedures of taping in a knee joint. Compared methods were complete stabilization, lateral ligaments, patella and taping of injured ACL. Part of the synthetic part is photodocumentary of the procedures with stiff and flex tapes with detail description of the procedures. There is also comparison of the taping methods. The final result could serve as a tool for sport trainers or individuals, who are devoted to regeneration or to sport itself.

The bachelor thesis deals with music history of punk and the main participants of the first punk generation, especially with the band the Sex Pistols, it provides comparison of the contemporary and the former punk followers, it creates the overview of the main features and activities related to punk, it examines definitions of the word 'punk' and describes how members of punk subculture act. The thesis is also concerned with connection of punk and political opinions, which is crucial for this music genre. The beliefs of the literary authors are contrasted with experience of the author of the thesis. Patterns of use addictive substances at active musicians in music groups in the Benešovsko

Introduction: Addictive substances among musicians is a common occurrence. However, this phenomenon is mostly described only by the musicians themselves in their autobiographies. There is little professional work to address this phenomenon. There are many factors that affect musicians and lead them to use addictive substances. Even though this phenomenon is so widespread, it is taken for granted and few pay attention to it. Aim: Aim of thesis is to identify and describe patterns of substance use in active musicians in music groups that are based in the Benešov region, but play outside this area too. Methodology Data were collected in the form of a semi-structured interview. A list of music groups was created using the bandzone website. These groups were then found on Facebook to find out their activity. They were also subsequently approached here. 9 researched musicians took part in the research. Responses from the interviews were recorded directly by hand. Overwrite was performed while data was being written. Subsequently, the data were analyzed by elements of grounded theory. Documentary photography: Branko's Bridge - One year in a band

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to present an original point of view on the life within a band, mainly through a photo documentary of 55 pictures. It shows the ordinary situations as well as key moments in the band's life from the perspective of its member. The thesis is connecting documentary photography and concert photography through an interview with music journalist Ondřej Bezr, author of the book ​Fotografie, které hrají​. Theoretical part of the thesis gives a bright insight on documentary photography as a genre and further focuses on music photography.
