Devices for user behavior analysis on Twitter

People connected in a social network manifest certain patterns regarding their behavior, which are stemming from similar patterns emerging from conventional social networks. In my work I will try to describe some of these behaviors as they are projected on Twitter and how they apply when performing discovery preceding a marketing campaign as well as during post-campaign evaluation. From the practical standpoint I will try to apply this information on a real marketing campaign aimed at boosting sales as well as follower numbers.
Social networks and their use in commercial sector

This bachelor's thesis is focused on using social networks in commercial sector. Is divided in two main parts, in first part are defined social networks, given examples and described history. Thesis specially deals with selected networks and describes them in detail. Furthermore presents a possible use of social networks in corporate practice and provides concrete examples of offered functionalities. The second part focuses on a selected sample of companies in which identifies companies that use social networks (Facebook and Twitter) and studies them more. Studies real communication of these companies and analyze it further. At the end gives examples of good and bad communication and recommendations for using social networks in commercial sector.
Possibilities of commercial use of social networks

Main objective of this thesis is to analyze social networks as a means of advertising. Thesis takes down congruity of presentations of firms and companies but also individuals across the social networks. I devoted the greatest attention to networks Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Myspace as the most popular and the most important in Czech Republic. Other social networks I am comparing with Facebook as the most widespread worldwide. Sub-chapters are focused to analyze specific social networks -- especially those which are most used in present time. Thesis also analyzes appropriateness of using advertisement on particular social networks and its efficiency. Then I tried to determine the best social network to speak to potential customers. The future is the last topic of my thesis. I attempted to outline the direction of social networks, not only in the marketing perspective. Other points which I attempted to outline are fall of present network or rise of new networks. The antithesis to the future is short exposition about history of the most popular networks and their origin.
A practical look at use of social networks for small and medium business

Internet and Internet communication technologies have become an integral part of life for most of us. Commercial potential of these technologies has already been identified. The advent of new forms of communication and sharing content on the Internet, so-called Web 2.0, brought new trend to our lives. This new trend with great potential for further commercialization of the Internet, are social networks. This thesis deals mainly with issues of use of social networks for commercial communication. Social networks offers a wide range of opportunities for business development on the Internet in the future. Volume of use of social networks in the future depends not only on users of social networks, but also on skills and experience of corporate entities. The goal of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on this issue, analyze the current uses of each commercial channel on social networks and provide insight to possible future progress. The work is divided into three chapters. The first, theoretical part, defines online communication channels, social networks and analyse basic problems of commercial use of social networks. In the second part author provides an overview of the possibilities of use of social networks and their potential, their advantages and disadvantages. And also methods how to enter a field of social networking with a business. The third part is a case study of use of social networks for business development in a particular company. In this charter author applies knowledge from the theoretical part. Reader of the thesis should thus gain a complete understanding of the issues of commercial uses of social networks. In theoretical, and also in practical direction. The thesis could thus be a applicable guide for the use of all the opportunities that social networks provide these days. The benefit for the reader should be the ability to apply theoretical and practical procedures for developing their own business.
Possibilities and specifications of usage of social networks in logistics

The main purpose of this thesis is to examine current most important social networks usable in Czech Republic and evaluate usefulness for logistic companies. The aims of thesis are basics of internet marketing, separation of social networks and evaluation their commercial potential. Author attaches his research in form of questionnaire aimed on current usage social networks in logistic companies and compiles recommendations how use social network for commercial purpose.
Possibilities of usage of social networks in business practice

Communication is the basis of the human society; Internet has contributed to that in recent decades. Mass interconnection of people by means of social networks is a phenomenon of recent years. The purpose of my thesis was to map the situation in the area of the use and development of social networks, advantages and disadvantages in the area of communication, their development and their future. In my analysis, I also dealt with possible ways of using these networks in business. Two surveys have become the basis of my evaluation. The survey in the field of consumer market evaluated the extent and orientation of the use of social networks by people in the Czech Republic; the other one concentrated on business entities and mapped the way how companies use social networks for communicating with customers and general public.

The topic of this bachelor thesis are social networking on the internet and its marketing utilization. The aim of this thesis is to present the most popular social networking sites nowadays. Antoher aim is comparation of these sites in global context and in environment of the Czech republic. This thesis also clarifies risks and opportunities of these sites and some examples of this behavior. In the last part of thesis the autor summarizes collected data and together with his own research applies them on the official Facebook site of The Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, Prague.
Social Networks' Business Models

This paper examines popular social networks from the financial point of view. It analyses four social networks which fall into three categories: social networks (Facebook), communities (YouTube and LinkedIn) and microblogging services (Twitter). Each of these services is specific and is described in a separate chapter. The main aim of the paper is to analyze the social networks' business models. They are explained in the part two which is the most significant and largest part of the paper. It follows the first part which discusses the question whether it is possible to find out the real market value of a social network. Part three involves the author's suggestions, how to amend the current business models and if it is possible to put up a new model. The final part of the paper offers the comparison between the current situation and the situation back in the year 1999 which ended up in the burst of the dot com bubble.
Marketing and advertising within Social software

Internet users have noticed its marketing capabilities right after its creation. First, the traditional methods, well known from the classical media, have been used. Therefore, the main marketing communication channels were - mostly static - advertising banners and different press releases on web pages according to its contents. The true expansion of Internet marketing came into being with interactive websites, where its users are the main creators of its content, they can log in by their names, create their own profiles and altogether create social webs. That is websites described as Web 2.0 As time passed, various marketing tools have appeared to promote different products, to work on good relationship with customers and to offer tailor-made content to each individual. Social software gathers together huge amounts of people that want to share their lives, hobbies, favorite music etc. with the rest of the world. This way, they are a perfect place for market targeting. This work defines Social software as a part of Web 2.0, presents the most usual tools of Internet marketing and in the last part, they are shown on particular examples inside Social software.
How to recruite and retain quality workers in the ICT business

The thesis is focused on describing the procedures through which organizations can acquire and retain high-quality long-term workers in the ICT sector. Most of the described procedures can be easily transfered to other industries. Brand new approaches that can be applied in the process of recruitment, are discussed as well, specifically, the possibility of using online social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. Outsourcing is another, fairly new option of acquiring employees. An example of such a service is oDesk. The following part of the work describes the processes that are used in recruitment and retaining the skilled employees in the Unicorn company, which is the major producer of software in the Czech Republic. Despite Unicorn`s long-term achievements and experience in implementing the various human resources management and other related activities in order to acquire and maintain high-quality employees, the author was able to formulate specific proposals and recommendations that may contribute to their further improvement and streamlining. These recommendations are subject to the final part of the thesis.
