Attitude toward physical activity in children of age 8 - 10 years using a questionnaire CATPA Grade/Year 3

Title: Attitude toward Physical Activity in Children of Age 8-10 Years Objectives: Main goal of the paper is to examine and then compare attitudes towards physical activities for school children of age 8 - 10 years using a questionnaire CATPA Grade/Year 3 in 2014/2015. The survey was done in small towns Žamberk and Letohrad. I have also compared observed results to other surveys made during previous years. Methods: The survey of attitude toward physical activity was done in grade 3 and 4 of elementary schools in Žamberk and Letohrad in June 2015. I have used a data questionnaire known as CATPA Grade/Year 3. The research was done in cooperation with master teachers according to provided guidelines. I have obtained opinions from 176 pupils (104 boys and 72 girls). Results: I compared six attitudes of boys and girls and I have found differences especially in X5 - aesthetic dimension (higher value in set of girls) and X3 - danger dimension (higher value in set of boys). Furthermore, I observed differences between sport-living town and a town without sport enthusiasm. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Aim: To find and compare the level of physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players (U13 and U15). The next aim was to determine the relationships between physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players (U13 and U15). Methods: The object of the research was a group of girls aged from 11 to 15 years. Out of them were 14 girls actually playing for U13 and another 14 for U15. The daily motion aktivity of this group was tested by 14 accelerometers Actigraph GT3X. The length of testing period was one week. The level of motion abilities was examined by testing battery UNIFITTEST 6-60 through four different exercises. Both somatic test and UNIFITTEST 6-60 were realized during a camp. Results: The results show that girls playing for U15 are generally more active than girls playing for U12 (4 171 133 counts > 2 809 934 counts). Title: The level of physical activity for young football players due to health recommendations Author: Tomáš Šorna Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Objectives: The aim of this work is the weekly monitoring of physical activity for young football players and determine its size due to health recommendations for their age category. Then comparison of the possible difference results in selected indicators of physical activity between younger (Under 13 year) and older (Under 15 year) football players. Methods: The monitoring files consist of younger football players (n= 15; 12,6 ± 0,5 years old) and older football players (n= 15; 14,7 ± 0,5 years old). The accelerometers Actigraph GT3X were used for determining level of physical activity during the week. The written answer sheet of physical activity were used for obtaining additional information. Results: The results of monitoring of physical activity shows that both groups of players exceeded the reference value of physical activity in all its indicators. Younger and older football players significantly exceeded the daily recommended value which is 60 minutes of physical activity spent in moderate to very high intensity. Aerobic, its characteristics, methodology and health benefits

The aim of this work is to create an educational DVD with aerobics classes for beginners and intermediate exercisers. The DVD is designed for children and adults who want to work out at home in their free time, for novice teachers of aerobics, to liven up their lessons, and finally for heads of various sports clubs teachers who would like to include aerobics to their lessons. In the theoretical part the characteristic of aerobics is introduced, its effect on human health, and particular types of aerobics, including racing. In conclusion of the theoretical part basic steps of aerobics are described. In addition, there is also English terminology and explanation of teaching methods that are used in aerobics classes. The practical part is devoted to the learning DVD. The introduction describes the preparation for filming, followed by a transcript of choreography and stretching exercises that are used in the video, and also instructions on how to start with an exercise and what to avoid. The conclusion of the practical part is focused on a review of the DVD. The evaluation was carried out using a questionnaire survey, which was attended by a total of 60 respondents. Physical activity education in case of individuals with 2nd type diabetes mellitus

Title: Physical activity education in case of individuals with 2nd type diabetes mellitus Objectives: The main objective of the thesis was to demonstrate the positive impact of regular and long-term physical activity education on metabolic parameters and physical fitness on individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: For the research were chosen by physician four probands, who underwent survey using a standardized questionnaire IPAQ short version. Further testing was performed using walk physical performance test according to Stejskal, in which the heart rate was monitored with sporttester evaluation and laboratory parameters supplied by the diabetic clinic (blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, lipid spectrum - HDL, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides). Production of results was done using statistical data analysis and graphical analysis shown in collaboration with the laboratory of sports motor skills FTVS UK, others the results are displayed in tables.
