Analog subtractive synthesizer
Jehlička, Maxim ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of monophonic analogue subtractive sythesizer. The sythesizer consists of MIDI to control voltage converter, voltage controlled waveform generator, voltage controlled amplifier, envelope generator, low frequency oscillator and voltage controlled filter.
Modular tool for creating games with artificial intelligence
Klika, Jan ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Kouřil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and implementation of tool for facilitate the creation of artificial intelligence. The tool uses its own universal communication protocol, supports multiple types of games, is extensible for other games using dynamic libraries, supports the display of debugging information of artificial intelligence and is localized in English and Czech.
Embedded Control Unit for Instrumentation of Laboratory Appliance
Voda, Zbyšek ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is modular design of control system for Golem device, which is used for drug research. Several modules with specified controlled area were designed. They communicate using CAN bus and are controlled by Raspberry Pi computer. The thesis includes PCB design and control firmware for modules, backend application for Raspberry Pi, which provides application interface, and simple protocol used for communication between modules. Designed system was tested in simulated environment.
Design and construction of transparent nozzle for visualization and measurement of the internal flow
Sapík, Marcel ; Fojtlín, Miloš (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and construction of transparent nozzle for research of internal flow of liquids. The objective was to design potential construction of the nozzle and make a manufacturing drawing. The theoretical part deals with basics of atomization including properties of liquids and describes basic optical methods for internal flow in a nozzle. In the research part of this thesis, a number of construction solutions has been picked to serve as an inspiration for the final shape of the nozzle. Its construction is elaborated in the last part along with a description of the process, a manufacturing drawing, and a visual documentation with a 3D model.
Design of sustainable urban structure of the 21st century in the Czech Republic
Boháčová, Denisa ; Erben, Adam (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is solving the design of a sustainable urban structure of the 21st century in Brno, in the area of Kasárna in Černá pole. The thesis is trying to create a neighborhood that would serve not only to the needs of the millennials, but of every generation. It is trying to build a city for the people. I am designing the new development as a lively, diverse and flexible neighborhood which considers the history of the area. I am conserving its rectangular shape in the urban footprint. I am designing a city with clearly defined public spaces. I am opening the neighborhood to the public and therefor allow it to newly connect with neighboring districts. The goal of the design is to create a modern neighborhood that will function as a new subcenter of the city of Brno.
Partial reconfiguration methods based on programmable structures
Kolář, Jan ; Kváš, Marek (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This master's thesis dissertates of partial reconfiguration methods based on programmable structures. In theoretical part it deals with difference and modular-based method of Xilinx's FPGAs Partial reconfiguration. Options of both reconfiguration techniques were written for Spartan 3, Virtex II, Virtex 4 and Virtex 5 processors. Diference-based method was in practical part tested on Spartan 3E Starter Kit and modular-based on ML501 board. All configuration bitstreams are included on CD. Xilinx Inc. provided all needed software tools such as ISE9.2i and PlanAHEAD.
Design and realization of a new laboratory exercise with PLC B&R Automation
Cejpek, Zdeněk ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with designing of a laboratory task primary dedicated for the course „Advanced control methods“, which for the education uses the instruments of company B&R Automation. From possible aproaches chooses modeling of dynamic systems using analog electrical circuits. Those circuits are realized in modular manner, in order to allow building models of various systems. The thesis also includes a desing of proper casing, which simplifies the manipulation by building of the systems. Using designed prototype modules, a model of a separately excited DC motor was built. This model is used for realization of the laboratory task, for which is provided a short manual including some basic program for Automation Studio. The thesis also briefly introduces the company B&R, it´s products and a PLC configuration used in courses „Advanced control methods“.
Design of a universal robotic system
Hudeček, Vít ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and construction of modular robotic system. Proposal of its management and simulation parameters given.
Advanced generator of modern Slow DoS attacks
Trávník, Kryštof ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of a modular generator for slow denial-of-service attacks. The theoretical part discusses in detail the evolution of the HTTP protocol, denial of service attacks, selected slow denial of service attacks and finally mentions some existing generators. It is possible to add any number of additional scripts to the created generator, to which a graphical interface is automatically created. The attacks can be further extended to a distributed version using the created bots, which are controlled thanks to the master-slave protocol proposed in this work. During the attack, statistics are generated and presented in real time within the graphical interface or after the attack is completed.
HRSG
Rajkovič, Jaroslav ; Křemínský, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design a two-pressure level heat recovery steam generator. First a general layout of the boiler is selected and thermal calculation is performed. Then the dimensions of flue gas duct are determined and the heat transfer surfaces are designed in detail. After that, the drums and all the main boiler piping are designed a materials selected. Based on the calculated values, a layout drawing and 3D model of the boiler are created.
