Physical fitness and Movement activity of children in Otrokovice

TITLE Physical fitness and Movement activity of children in Otrokovice AIM: The main aim of this Dissertation thesis is to ascertain the physical fitness level of children in Primary school in Otrokovice. The next task is to find out if athletic children attending some of the sport clubs which are offered by Otrokovice town. Further we inquire in which of the three schools are children the most physically able bodied and also we look into if the physical above-average children do the sport more often than the children physical below-average. So far we are interested whether the performances of above-average children have a lower amount subcutaneous fat than the performances of below-average children. METHOD: The data for this Dissertation thesis is generated through empirical quantitative research.This research was carried out under standardised conditions minimizing the outside influence (gymnasium). The Focus groups for this research are school-boys and school-girls from primary schools in Otrokovice. RESULTS: From the measuring results of the chosen sample shows, that more than half of the tested groups achieved below-average values in the motor tests. Is Punk Dead?

Tato práce se zabývá proměnou punkové subkultury v českém prostředí od konce 70. let do současnosti. Zaměřuje se především na změnu životních hodnot a kontextu se zlomovým bodem, za který je označován pád komunismu. Je zde analyzován vývoj subkultury, která se rodí ve pojených státech amerických 70. letech, odkud se rozšířila do celého světa. Je typická odporem ke konzumní společnosti, válkám, nacismu, korporacím a hlavně nesvobodě. Mezi roky a 1977 se punk dostává i do tehdejšího Československa, kde v kontextu vlády komunistické strany dostává nový rozměr. Práce popisuje rozpor mezi příslušníky komunity a veřejností, kterou jsou tito lidé označování za závadovou a nebezpečnou mládež. Subkultura se potýká s represemi a omezeními až do pádu socialismu začnou vznikat nové odnože, souvislosti se společenským vývojem roste nová tvář subkultury, která se již zabývá konkrétnějšími problémy, jako jsou práva zvířat, či plýtvání. V analýzu použit kvalitativní výzkum ve formě zúčastněného pozorování a rozhovorů se zástupci současné i původní vlny. Rozhovory napovídají, že objektem zájmu je stále pojem "svoboda" a k proměně dochází spíše v konkrétních terých se této hodn příslušníci subkultury dožadují. Sociology of sport focused on cycling: cycling as an extended movement activity in free time

From the perspective of basic social and value characteristics professional sport is pulled from common social context while free-time sport is anchored deeply in. The rate of preference of sport activities significantly affects intensity of spending free time and form of life style. A lot of researches are dedicated to free-time sporting specifically cycling many of projects. Second part of my work is created from interpretation of results of my own research of different aspects of cycling. It has been showed respondents riding a bike carry on cycling most often due to rest and relaxation. Very frequent reason for cycling is making trips and many of cyclists go to multiday vacation with bikes. Further the work devotes to analysis what cycling means for respondents, if they heard in their neighborhood cues about another people outfits, whether they spend vacation on bikes et cetera.

Gastronomy as a part of life style in the Czech national print media in the period between the wars in Czechoslovak Republic

The doctoral thesis Gastronomy as a part of life style in the Czech national print media in the period between the wars in Czechoslovak Republic presents the results of eight years long research of food journalism in the Czech press between 1918 and 1938. This period called First Republic is often seen, due the positive sentiment, as a modern, democratic and prosperous state. The reality is a different. This text presents just a little part of picture of life style during First Republic which is gastronomy. That mirrors the economic and social level of the society. This text reflects critically the historical facts. The assumption, that print media pay regularly attention to the gastronomy as an integral part of life is important idea of this research. The content analysis proofs, that food journalism had its own section in the analyzed daily print, although media didn't used this kind of terminology. Five national newspapers (Lidové noviny, Národní politika, České slovo, Právo lidu and Venkov) were issued in the period 1918-1938 and newspapers Rudé právo established 1920 are included in the analysis. Contemporary nutritional recommendations and their compliance by nutritional therapists

This work is focused on Czech and world nutritional recommendations and the profession of nutritional therapist. The aim of the work is to analyze the eating habits of nutrition therapists as nutrition experts. The work is divided into chapters, within which a comparative analysis of both nutritional recommendations and all levels of the profession of nutritional therapist is performed. The analysis of identical and different points was performed on the basis of the study of documents and their comparisons. The first part of the thesis deals with the issue of nutritional recommendations, their importance, forms and methods of creation. The following is a list of current recommendations valid in Europe and in the Czech Republic. These recommendations are then compared. Furthermore, attention is paid to the profession of nutritional therapist, its legislative anchoring and competencies. As this profession has several levels, they are compared with each other and the differences are emphasized. Subsequently, the individual activities of a nutritional therapist are explained and practical examples are presented. Last but not least, an analysis of the eating habits of the addressed nutritional therapists is prepared and compared with the current nutritional recommendations valid in the Czech Republic....

Influence of physical activity on the quality of life in individual age categories during the covid-19 pandemic

IN ENGLISH The diploma thesis presents physical activity and quality of life. Thesis characterizes these two areas, discusses the influences that affect these two areas and then compares the influence of themselves - or the influence of one of them on the other, the impact of physical activity on the quality of life. The theoretical part presents physical activity as a tool of benefit, a determinant of health, part of an active lifestyle. The quality of life is discussed in a similar way. The practical part examines the influence of physical activity on the quality of life in individual age categories. In addition to the influence of physical activity on the quality of life in general, practical part is also testing the influence of this activity on individual dimensions of quality of life. Two questionnaires - WHO QOL-BREF and GPAQ - are used to determine the values needed for the research.
