Information System Selection

The diploma thesis focuses on the selection and implementation of a new information system for the analyzed company RWS and its specific MTE team. After all the analyses of the company and its current state of information system have been done, all the requirements for the new information system will be tented, a rough and fine selection of potential systems will be made and the selection of one whose implementation will be worked out in detail. This diploma thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter of the thesis describes all the necessary theoretical background, the second chapter provides an analysis of the company under study and its information system, and the third chapter deals with the selection, implementation of the new information system, and the economic evaluation of the proposed solution, including all the benefits.

Status of Deputy of the Czech Parliament in legislative process

The main purpose of my thesis entitled "The legislative process - the role of Members of Parliament" is to analyze the process of preparing, making and passing laws by the Parliament of the Czech Republic, focusing on the role of Members of Parliament in the legislative process (including comparisons between members of the coalition, opposition and non- attached) and provide a comparison theory, therefore, the possibility of the constitution and other laws and actual practice.

The significant part of the thesis is composed of a description of related research using a quantitative method. It provides an inspiration for methodology and further content of the study. The second part of the thesis represents the practical side of the research. A creation of a data set is described by the variable selection with their operationalization and the data collection. The methodical content of the research and development of the data set operational environment are depicted. After that the garnered data are evaluated, at first in terms of individual variables and then by relationships between variables. Legal guarantees ensuring independent exercise of the parliamentary mandate

This PhD. thesis is dedicated to the legal regulation of instruments presenting guarantees of the independence of the member of parliament during the performance of his/her functions. The aim of this thesis is in particular to present a comprehensive picture of the topic concerning protection of independent performance of the parliamentary mandate, evaluate the Czech legal regulation in force and, last but not the least, to find an answer to the question to what extent is the Czech legal regulation in force complete and effective as well as present possible alternatives de lege ferenda. Member of parliament must be independent with regard to all aspects of the exercise of his/her mandate. Independency of the member of parliament is necessary precondition for his/her ability to exercise the mandate in such a way, which will enable him/her to face external pressures, not only from the state bodies, but also from other subjects or phenomenons. Instruments protecting independent performance of the mandate also support the possibility of members of parliament to fulfil their role freely and as a result to constitute working parliament.
