Relationship between a teacher and a teaching assistant from their mutual perspective

This bachelor's thesis explores the relationship between teachers and teaching assistants in Czech primary schools, highlighting the importance of their cooperation and communication. Through interviews with both groups, it reveals how collaboration influences the educational process, the approach to inclusion, and adaptation to students' individual needs. The study examines the challenges faced by both roles in the education system and provides insights into how effective mutual cooperation can support an inclusive educational environment and positively affect students' development and education.
Support for the adaptation of pupils with ASD in school classroom

The diploma thesis deals with supporting the adaptation of pupils with autism spectrum disorder in the school classroom. The aim of the thesis is to describe how the support of adaptation in the school environment and the inclusion of pupils with ASD in the school classroom. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the complex definition of autism spectrum disorders with manifestations and specifics that appear in pupils with ASD. Then it describes the possibilities of inclusive education with recommended approaches to these pupils and counselling services including support measures used in education. The theoretical part also describes the possibilities of supporting the adaptation and inclusion of pupils with ASD in the school classroom. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the issue of adaptation of pupils with ASD through qualitative research. The aim of the research investigation is to find out how teaching staff support the adaptation of pupils with ASD to the school environment and its inclusion in the school classroom. In addition, what specifics in the adaptation of pupils with ASD are perceived and taken into account by pedagogical staff. Last but not least, the difficulties and risks encountered in the adaptation and education of pupils with ASD are identified. The research is carried out by means of semi-structured interviews and observations. The thesis presents validated and recommended strategies and methods of work for pupils with ASD in adapting to the school environment and for their easier integration in the classroom collective. Among the most important are: visiting the school before starting school, peer-to-peer information transfer, structured learning, motivation and targeted work with the class collective. The cooperation of class teachers and teaching assistants is indispensable here. The special education centres have a major role in this issue, which are present in the entire process of adaptation and education of pupils with ASD.
Assistant teachers perspectives on the issues of bullying of children with special education needs

This dissertation focuses on the problematics of bullying of children with special educational needs from the point of view of the teacher's assistant. This dissertation is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part aims to define the expression of bullying, its forms and its participants. Furthermore it defines the expression of a child with special educational needs, it describes the use of support measures and the concept of inclusive education. The theoretical part also introduces contemporary measures for prevention and intervention of bullying at mainstream elementary schools. Additionally it focuses and discusses the job of the teacher's assistant and the possibilities of his or hers collaboration with the teacher and the classroom. The aim of the practical part is to determine the personal experiences of teacher's assistants with bullying of children with special educational needs and their possible role regarding prevention and intervention of bullying. Qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews with teacher's assistants at mainstream elementary schools was used as a data collection.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of cooperation between a teacher and a teacher's assistant at the first level of elementary school. The theoretical part defines the role of the teaching assistant, the prerequisites for good cooperation between the teacher and the teaching assistant, and the personality requirements of the teaching assistant. The goal of the thesis is to clarify how the cooperation between these two teaching staff currently takes place, including various possibilities for mutual cooperation, which can subsequently positively affect the effectiveness of teaching. In the empirical part, a qualitative scientific method called a semi-structured interview was used. Data were collected from both teachers and teaching assistants at the first level of elementary school. Data saturation was supported by content analysis of school documents. Data analysis was conducted through open coding and other methods appropriate for qualitative scientific methods. The view of educationalists and the class collective on the inclusive education of pupils a rare neuromuscular disease

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of inclusive education of pupils with a rare neuromuscular disease. It focuses primarily on students with spinal muscular atrophy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The importance of multi-disciplinary cooperation and communication between school and family is underlined here. The purpose is to map the specifics and the problematic situation in the inclusion of pupils with ND in primary schools and to analyze the conditions of inclusion of pupils with ND in the class group, the limits of this inclusion and above all possible pitfalls. All this from the teachers' point of view. During the research, a questionnaire survey was conducted by teachers and teacher assistants who work directly with students. Realization of inclusive education in elementary schools in the Czech educational system

The master's thesis will analyze the current form and implementation of the principle of inclusive education in Czech elementary schools. The work will focus not only on the form of inclusive education itself, but also take into account its legislative basis in our country and compare it with the legislation of other countries that use it. The work will discuss the everyday reality of inclusion in elementary school, when the case study method will be used. The situation during the Covid-19 pandemic, which concerned inclusive education with many challenges, will also be taken into account. The bachelor thesis deals with the inclu sive education of pupils with mild intellectual disabilities at secondary vocational schools. This work is divided into two parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the concept of intellectual disability, deals with the etiology and classification of intellectual disability, the characteristics of individual degrees of intellectual disability, the education of pupils with intellectual disabilities, and their integration or inclusion. It also describes what the personal educational plan is and looks into the activities of the assistant teacher and his role in helping pupils with intellectual disabilities. The practical part summarizes the results of the research on the issue of education of pupils with intellectual disabilities. The aim was to find out what kind of experience educators have educating pupils with intellectual disabilities, and if they see any advantages and disadvantages in integrating pupils with mild intellectual disabilities at secondary vocational schools. Respondents were teachers from various vocational schools mainly from the South Moravian and Vysočina Regions. Quantitative methodology was used for research. The aim was to describe the examined reality using subsequently processed data. Based on the data found, a set of measures (suggestions, recommendations) was subsequently drawn up on how to improve the inclusive education of pupils with intellectual disabilities.
The viewpoint of pupils with special education needs in support of teacher's assistant, in inclusive middle school

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the viewpoint of pupils with specific educational needs on the presence of a teacher's assistant in the process of teaching at the first level of primary school. Its goal is to find out what advantages pupils with specific educational needs see in the presence of a teaching assistant in the classroom, what supports a positive relationship between the teaching assistant and the pupil, and what are the differences between the views of intact pupils and pupils with specific educational needs. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the terms - inclusion, support measures for pupils with specific educational needs, and describes the history of inclusive education. It also focuses on the definition of the teaching assistant profession, its legislative anchoring, work content and competences. Furthermore, the theoretical part is focused on working with pupils with special needs and on the cooperation of the teaching assistant with other pedagogues, legal representatives, and pupils. The diploma thesis, which is presented here, is entitled Support measures in the education of pupils with special educational needs due to a different mother tongue (OMJ) in the Kadaň region. The work has a special pedagogical character. The aim of the predented work is to describe and define the approaches most often used in the education of pupils with OMJ in elemetary school from the point of view of pedagogues ant the point of view of the peagogical- psychological counseling center of the given region.Research technique were used for the research: comparison, analysis of the literature used, analysis of anamnestic data of informants obtained by the method of guided interview, test of language skills, analysis of interventions to individual informants within the framework of recommendations of the school couseling facility for the school and case studies of four informants of diferent nationalities.The research was carried out with the help of entrance examinatons of language abilities form the Meta organization.
