Project method at primary school

The diploma thesis: "Project method at primary school" deals with the development of new knowledge and skills through the project method, analysis of the quality of its use and possibilities of its application in practice. The work discusses how teachers work on projects with new information, how they develop new knowledge and skills of their students when using the project method. Furthermore it brings author's own project the purpose of which was to allow students to invent new knowledge on their own. The project method at the first school can be carried out by either short-term or long-term projects. Effectivity and quality of teaching is influenced by versatile development of personality of each student. Results of the questionnaire survey proves that the teachers are trying to ensure students enough opportunities for development of key competencies. They strive to put students in the working mood and try to build rich information background. Teachers knowingly consider these aspects however they are not convinced whether it is sufficient for the students. Creativity of teachers in the educational process in primary school

The diploma thesis "Creativity of teachers in an educational process in primary school" focuses on creativity of teachers, which is a prerequisite of every teacher in current education. The thesis is divided into two parts; theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on general knowledge, which appertains to the questions of creativity in the work of the pedagogues. In this part, the important factors are also described, which help to lead to the creative approach in the teaching. One of these factors is using activating methods. These represent the main approaches of the pedagogues to teach creatively. The theoretical part is also focused on the position of the teachers in the process of school inclusion and on the appropriate teaching methods and strategies for inclusive education. The practical part focuses on activating methods in teaching. The investigative survey was carried out via questionnaire, and its main objective was to explore the extent of using activating methods by teachers at basic schools. It also looks at whether these methods are considered to be an appropriate instrument to the creative and effective mediation of the curriculum for all pupils, including pupils with special education needs. At present, preparation of future teachers, but also in lifelong adult education teachers, computers are preferred, modern electronics (and everything associated with them) and such methods, where the pupil is actively involved in teaching and not just a passive "recipient". For the purposes of my thesis was, therefore, a wide range of teaching aids (PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, educational teaching games, demonstration experiments, tests, including methodologies and manuals), through which pupils were taught. Activating methods and forms in teaching of natural science

The theme and scope of submitted thesis is "Activating methods and forms in teaching of natural sciences" then followed with regard to the author's certification in chemistry and biology. The thesis is solved in conformity with requirements of the Framework Educational Programme, especially the change of the teaching style in schools. The thesis is written down with respect of a natural continuation of previous work of the author - diploma thesis dealt with project teaching and rigorous thesis was focused on cooperative activities. With regard to the objectives of submitted work the design of the research project is divided into two component parts: a questionnaire survey and a video study.
Social skills development of secondary school students in the Economics

This final thesis deals with the issue of social skills development of secondary school students in the Economics. The theoretical foundations of this work is to define the term of social skills and is explained his importance to the society. A substantial part of the theory is also devoted to the social skills in connection with the Framework educational program. Within the empirical part, an analysis of the FEP for BA is performed, through which the state of the method concentrated on the social skills of students is determined. Furthermore, through a questionnaire survey, the current state of acquired social skills of selected students from the first years on BA is investigated and their view on this issue. This work is also focusing on whether teachers in the Economics produce sufficient appropriate environment that would allow students to develop their social skills. The final goal is to suggest specific games and activities that allow students to improve these skills in the Economics.
Playing as a means of increasing motivation in teaching vocational subjects

Bachelor thesis called A play as a means of improving motivation in teaching vocational subjects, is used for the needs of their insight into the problems of motivation in school and its improvement through the activation methods specifically games. The theoretical part brings basic concepts that relate to the themes of the motivation in school and activation methods in education, which are the basis for the development of the practical part. In the practical part is through the observation and the final test in the learning block validated the proposed board game of economic, as the activation method for increasing the motivation of the economic sector. Last but not least, the results are presented and carried out.
Use of activation methods in foreign language education

The submitted diploma thesis deals with the use of activating methods in foreign language tuition. The thesis aims at finding out which teaching and activating methods are used by teachers in foreign language tuition most often, and what the advantages and disadvantages of activating methods are. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with activity and creativity in lessons and with teaching methods. The research part of the thesis is based on questionnaire survey that foreign language teachers took part in. The survey results contribute to the finding which teaching methods are employed to teach foreign languages at primary and secondary schools at present.

On-line experiments by physics education at basic school The aim of this diploma thesis is to prove the usefulness of on-line experiments during physics teaching. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical one and practical one. The theoretical part deals with the teaching in primary schools, the possibility of the usage of informational and communication technologies, the increase of student´s motivation through new teaching methods and the student´s life in a school surrounding. The practical part consists of the experiment complex created by the set PASCO. The working sheets, which are given to some of the experiments, enable to attest the effectiveness of the chosen experiments in practice. The results of the didactic samplers to the particular classes are enclosed and described.
Improvement of activate teaching methods in Health Education/ Mental Hygiene Strategies in Education Process in High School

This work includes a proposed comprehensive educative program designed in the range of twelve hours for the teaching of Health Education / Mental Hygiene, using activity methods. The program was applied and verified in the lower secondary school students. The proposed program was to explore and describe the importance of teaching the classification of Health Education / Mental hygiene in the classical teaching of pupils in lower secondary schools. Individual lessons were carried out by different activating teaching methods. It was a randomly selected class in high school at Bishop secondary school in České Budějovice. As the main research method was chosen the questionnaire of daily and sleep rhythms. Evaluation of the educational process was conducted by a qualitative method-observation, from which came very positive results, both in terms of activity and attention of students in the classroom, so in terms of improving knowledge and skills in the areas of Health Education / Mental Hygiene. The results of research can enrich the work supporting health education both in teaching so in other activities. The proposal program took place so that all the candidates on this issue could draw from it.
