Recitation in education at the first grade of primary school

In my diploma thesis I focus on children's recitation in education at the first grade of primary school. The theoretical part describes the basic elements of recitation, age specifics, which related to recitation. It justifies why it is useful to include recitation in education depending on the outcomes of the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education in Czech Republic. It focuses on the interpretative and construction means of the recitation form and shows the basic methods of work by which they can be developed in teaching. Finally, it also describes the role of the teacher in this creative process and the method of assessment suitable for recitation. The practical part is divided into three parts and is firstly devoted to research in the form of a questionnaire survey on the state of recitation in primary school teaching. The second part includes semi-structured interviews with first grade teachers mapping in more detail their approach, ways of working and motivation of the children. The final part includes two sample lessons on how recitation can be worked on in the primary school curriculum.
Level of knowledge and skills of first aid on primary school

Topic: Level of knowledge and skills of first aid on primary school. Abstract: This thesis aims to examine and compare the first aid level of knowledge of pupils, focusing the 3th & 5th classes on primary schools in Prague, in a small town and in a village. The work is divided into two main parts, to the theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part consists of four chapters. The first chapter defines what first aid is and what its types are. The second charter covers emergency lines and basic components of the Integrated Rescue System. The third chapter maps the sources of information, where pupils at primary school can learn about first aid. The fourth chapter deals with the model emergency procedures in selected areas. In the introduction of practical part are research hypotheses and methods specified. The research itself was made by questionnaire. The chosen procedure was a first step to map the level of knowledge of first aid. When developing the questionnaire there were given situations in which children can actually occur and be the only savior at hand. Based on the information collected, the training program for this age category was set. Drama as the Prevention of Bulying

The diploma thesis deals with the method of structured drama and its help in the prevention of bullying. Specifically, the aim is to understand the role of a silent witness as a person who can prevent bullying by stepping out of this role. The theoretical part defines the term bullying, describes the forms, causes and characteristics of bullying among pupils of the first grade of the primary school. This part of the thesis also gives a definition of the chosen method of structured drama, its procedures and techniques. The practical part deals with the created structured drama and its reflection. The questionnaire survey then examines the attitude shift of selected pupils in their decision to step out of the role of the silent witness. The period immediately preceding the realization of structured drama and the period after a few months are the initial and terminal phases of the examined attitude shift. The understanding of digital education on elementary school and its cceptance amongs the pupils

5 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the topic of digital education at primary school and its acceptance among pupils. The project is an inspiring attempt to link formal and informal education in the learning process. This study has become an inspiration for making digital teaching more effective and developing digital literacy for primary school pupils. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters, which deal with the area of cognitive development of early school age children, digital education and digital technologies used in teaching. The knowledge from the professional literature in the theoretical part is the basis for the practical part, which through the creation of two educational geolocation games researches the development of individual digital competencies on a sample of two classes. The aim of this work is to find out how digital literacy and its individual competences can be developed in the primary school with respect to the age and cognitive development of pupils. Coordination abilities at primary school

Diploma thesis is focused on pupils' coordination abilities on primary grade of elementary school. The main goal is comparison of pupils' levels in coordination skills, who attend dancing lessons in elementary art school and pupils who do not. It leads to be found out how dance and movement education influence coordination skills. The research part consists of motor tests, which find out levels of rhythmics, reacts, balances, orientations, associations and rebuilding. These tests are supplemented by questionnaire, which finds out information needed for processing of results. The questionnaire finds out what sports and how long the pupils do them in an organized way, whether the pupils do sports in an unorganized manner or not at all. In results there are compared measured values. Each test is described and evaluated. In the tests there are compared pupils of primary grade of elementary school and they are split to four categories - non-sporting pupils, unorganized sporting pupils, organized sporting pupils and elementary art school. For comparing results there were chosen values - arithmetic mean, minimum and maximum measured value and supplemented by graphical processing of comparison of selected four groups. In my thesis I am covering the chosen ethical topics from the book Treasures of the Snow using the structured drama. The aim of this thesis was to identify if pupils could find a solution that would prevent the unethical behaviour based on their experience from the book? The paper is divided into theoretical and practical sections, the practical section is based off the conclusion made in theoretical one. The first part of the thesis focuses on the following chosen subjects; Ethics, Drama in Education, Czech language and literature which are covered in the Framework education programme for elementary education and it is also analysing how these subjects fit into the School educational programme within Primary School Kunratice (Commutation - Learning - Cooperation), where the practical research was performed with the children from 5th grade. These subjects merge together in a created auctorial structured drama "About a friendship that overcame various difficulties", which serves as a tool for the research. Constructivism in communication and text classes for primary schools

The diploma thesis deals with constructivism and how best to employ it in teaching communication and text classes at elementary schools. It also explores possibilities of using constructivism when new text types are being implemented into the educational process. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the constructivist way of teaching in general and it's basis for teaching the Czech language in particular. It also contains an analysis of the available teaching materials and a view of the specialised literature on teaching communication and text classes. The practical part presents a research into the pupils' preconcepts about selected text types. The two text types selected for this research are letter and instruction manual. The research is followed by an analysis and an interpretation, which might be useful in teaching about the selected text types. The conclusion provides recommendations for implementing the selected text types into Czech language classes.

There have been chosen styles, methods and strategies, which are suitable for using memory techniques. Attention is paid to the memory function of students (secondary school age), who become a part of the empirical research. The theoretical part will present the concept of teaching, learning styles, methods and strategies, which effective implement the memory techniques into this construction. The practical part brings using experimental and observational research process to define quantitative and qualitative results on the memory learning.
