Implementing Ethical education in the school curriculum

In my theoretical part I deal with a quite new educational issue - ethical education. I mean to emphasise the key importace of ethics for society and I describe ethical education as a school subject. I deal with management operations of leading a change in school curricula. The research survey is focused on obstacles within ethical education implementing. Electronic documentation in the contemporary rehabilitation

This diploma thesis focuses on the problem of implementation of information systems for electronic documentation in health care, especially in rehabilitation. The theoretical part describes the nature and meaning of managerial changes in general, reviews various types of changes, discusses what causes these changes and how they affect their surroundings, and describes the key steps and models for effective handling of these managerial changes. The second part deals with problems of introducing electronic documentation and information systems in a special case of the Czech Republic. The empirical part focuses on implementation of information system in the rehabilitation institute Kladruby. Using qualitative research methods a sequence of interviews was carried out with the staff of the rehabilitation department. The result of the research presented in this thesis is a summary of advantages and disadvantages of the information system, attitudes of respondents to the implementation of the information system, and recommendations how to further optimize the information system. The Change in the System of Work of the Anaesthetic Team

The diploma thesis deals with a concept of a new system of anesthetic administration in the Czech Republic. The attitude of anesthesiological nurses was inquired in a form of quantitative research questionnaire. It suggests higher/wilder competence for non - medical staff during carring out an anesthesia. In the particular chapters of the theoretical part are described different contexts of the topic (history of anethesia, change implementation theory, description of a current situation in anestesiology, comparison with other countries, legislative) and their mutual connection. Research results dealing with anesthesiological nurses opinions on suggested model of changes in carring out an anesthesia are described in an Empirical section. In a section Results of quantitative research I describe many facts, give explanations, confirmations or disproves of hypothesis arising from the research. According to the results, there exists sufficient support among anesthesilogical nurses for carring out a new system of work into an anesthesiological department. Based on facts and information from the first part of the thesis and data research I described a plan of change implementation supervision. Eva Bendová: Introducing managerial supervision at the Department of Anesthesiology ABSTRACT In the form of a case study, this diploma thesis describes the process of introducing managerial supervision at the Department of Anesthesiology of Masaryk Hospital in the town of Ústí nad Labem. The theoretical part of the thesis describes theoretical prerequisites of change. It deals with managerial supervision, its basic aspects and principles. Furthermore, it focuses on issues closely related to successful introduction of managerial supervision - management, staff evaluation and development, organizational context and the process of change management. The practical part of the thesis draws a comparison between the situation as it was before introducing the managerial supervision process in the anesthetics ward and the situation a year after I took up my post there. It describes the process of introducing managerial supervision as a tool of change management, the individual stages of change and its evaluation. The thesis is concluded with a reflexion on personal change occurred within a managerial position as a result of analyzing the individual managerial supervision records. Managing transformation of asset management using bar codes at the Emergency Medical Service

1 ABSTRACT As the capital of Prague gradually expanded, both in population and area, Emergency Medical Service of Prague (EMSP) had to grow accordingly. Rescue Teams of EMSP are currently located in 18 stations throughout the territory of Prague. The high number of Rescue Teams groups poses a major challenge to technical - physical operation. One of the areas where the need for changes has been identified, is the asset management. The current system is inadequate and unable to respond flexibly to frequent changes in the asset register. Large number of emergency stations, which are located over a large area and include ambulance cars, triggered the need for rapid search and registration of fixed assets, so the whole process would be as efficient as possible and would not hinder the operation of Rescue Teams. Therefore the registration of property by means of barcodes was launched. During inspections and changes in records or registration of new assets, the operation in records is carried out quickly and efficiently using mobile terminals with a bar code reader, which is actually a small computer. Předkládaná práce se zabývá zhodnocením procesu strategické akvizice českého vodárenského podniku VHOS, a.s. velkou nadnárodní společností Aqualia v rámci jejího pronikání na trhy střední a východní Evropy. Práce analyzuje účel akvizice, strategii a oblast zájmu nabyvatele, zahrnuje fáze výběru společnosti, její přípravy na akvizici včetně due diligence a definuje podmínky její realizace. Výstupem práce je identifikace synergického efektu vyvolaného v případě uskutečnění akvizice a jejího dopadu na fungování akviziční jednotky, definování a návrh provedení nezbytných změn v managementu a organizační struktuře subjektu a návrh opatření a nových aktivit vedoucích k ekonomickým, technických a personálním úsporám a následnému úspěšnému fungování subjektu akvizice.
