DEVELOPMENT OF PHONEMATIC AWARENESS IN KINDERGARTEN
Lodlová, Zdeňka ; Nováková Schöffelová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
The thesis focuses on the development of pre-reading literacy in preschool education, specifically, the development of phonological awareness using the Elkonin method adapted for the needs of kindergartens. Phonological awareness is "the ability to be aware of the phonological structure of speech, which includes an awareness of syllables in words, rhymes, and individual sounds of speech, i.e. phonemes." (Nováková et al., 2020, p. 23) This ability is a component of school maturity and readiness, and a good level of this skill is crucial for seamlessly emulating reading and writing in the first stage of elementary school. The theoretical part of the thesis presents a basic definition of the legal norms of preschool education and the Framework Educational Programme in relation to pre-reading literacy. It also introduces the development of preschool children as well as the issue of school ripeness and readiness. The empirical part deals with research related to piloting the emerging modification of the Elkonin method for use in kindergartens. The aim of the research is to verify whether the new regulation of Language Skills Training based on the method developed by D. B. Elkonin is suitable for working with a group of preschool children in kindergarten and whether it develops phonematic awareness and...
Roman History in the Time of Principate in Czech Secondary Schools
Nováková, Miroslava ; Kepartová, Jana (advisor) ; Pinkas, Jaroslav (referee)
The main aim of this dissertation is to compare current history textbooks by using modern educative methods for learning history. Furthermore, it examines the feasibility of these methods for elementary school students and the first year of secondary school. The comparison was conducted based on the content and didactics of the textbooks and to tackle the development of the historical and critical thinking of the students. Secondary, it highlights the topics that are given the most space in the textbooks. Due to the complexity of the subject, the paper also contains the analysis of the textbooks used until 1989. The paper also contains the analysis of the Roman emperors from the principate, who finds their reflection on the textbooks. Analysis is based on the textbooks and the findings of the specialised literature. The dissertation primarily uses the methods of analysis of primary and secondary historical sources such as scholarly books and articles. I have also compared the textbooks, conducted a questionnaire. Lastly, I've created a thematic plan following the roman principate. By using these methods, I have concluded that the majority of the current textbooks aim to stimulate the development of the students. They are also crucial for the understanding of the past and the present world.

Nováková, Miroslava ; Rybák, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Daňhel, Jaroslav (referee)
In this bachelor thesis I outline the topical issue of insurance frauds. The first part provides the definition of these frauds, what are their causes, consequences and in which insurance sector they occur the most. The next part of the work describes statistics of rauds in 2015 and 2016, where we can see how these figures increased and decreased within individual insurance classes. I list the possibilities of distributing insurance frauds according to different points of view. I also analyze possible ways to prevent and combat this issue. I also mention several known and unusual cases from real life. My work ends with an interview with Mr. John Mergel from Colonnade Insurance, who gave me more information about this issue and explained how these frauds are solved in real life. Insurance frauds are increasing year after year and the aim of this work is a general dedication to this issue and an analysis of the possible struggle with them.
