Pine forests, lakes, wetlands with a large number of unique bird species create a unique environment for their diversity. Also, the neighborhood of the parcel is peaceful and resembles a more "city / village in the middle of the forest". It is the so-called oasis of peace and outside the summer months the area is almost without people and becomes an ideal place to relax and relax. The architectural design respects the existing building and the effort was to maximize the potential it offers. The idea is that the building is divided into 4 parts: the east is designed for hotel accommodation, and the west part of the building, which also includes a height extension, is divided by floors. 1. The rest of the floor is dedicated to massages and body and mind massages in saunas. The next floor are apartment apartments intended for temporary housing in the reaction area.
Sound emission directivity model
Zdvyhal, Marian ; Hájek, Roman (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis solves creation of a computing model of sound propagation for determination of acoustic pressure level around multiple point sound source with consideration of sound directivity of each source (compresor and fan). Thesis contains neccesary theoretical knowledge for creation of computing model and basics of sound measuring, theoretical computing model, measurement data of real unit and model configuration for real measured values. Computing code of the model in Visual Basic for MS Excel is a part of the thesis.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is design of planetary gear modeled in 3D program Autodesk Invertor and made using additive technology extended by Fused Deposit Modelling. In the first section is presented the most widely used methods of Rapid Prototyping. The next section is focused on design of planet gear, the process of modeling in 3D software, and analysis of needed configurations for the 3D printer.
Legal aspects of currency and money circulation
Hájek, Roman ; Kotáb, Petr (advisor) ; Kohajda, Michael (referee)
"Legal aspects of currency and money circulation" represent a very original and specific area of monetary law. In the second part, shift in both the focus of the media on the issue of nuclear energy and utilizing of the selected mechanisms of construction of the news is examined. Representation of the problem of climate change in the print media
Trunečková, Daniela ; Novák, Arnošt (advisor) ; Hájek, Roman (referee)
This diploma thesis on Representation of the problem of climate change in the print media is a content analysis of Czech quality daily newspapers, namely Hospodářské noviny, Lidové noviny, Mladá fronta DNES and Právo. It deals with the way the selected daily newspapers presented debate on global climate change in 2013-2014. The theoretical part informs readers about the basic concepts and definitions and introduces them to the problem. The empirical part answers the question of whether the media coverage of global climate change in Czech quality daily newspapers is consistent with scientific findings of the international climate discourse represented by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) or whether it relies equally on opinions of the small group of so called climate skeptics who question the general consensus of the scientific comunity regarding the causes and consequences of climate change or the need of adequate measures. The results of research indicated that most of analyzed articles informed about climate change the same way as the main climatological research. The largest number of skeptical articles appeared in Lidové noviny. A considerable number of articles didn't comment on the causes of climate change, their seriousness or decisions regarding action.
Framing of the EU during the European Parliament elections 2014
Charvátová, Anna ; Hájek, Roman (advisor) ; Rosenfeldová, Jana (referee)
Framing is one of the important concepts of media studies. That is because the journalists use framing as they create news. Framing makes it easier for their audiences to perceive the news and to understand it better. In media production framing occurs mostly because of the fact that journalists are affected by their opinions or by the organizations that they work for. Even the recipients doesn't have to perceive the news same way as the author - they are also affected by their opinions and his environments. The goal of this thesis was to find out how three Czech journals - Respekt, Reflex and Týden - framed European Union during the European Parliament elections 2014. In that period media informs about EU more than usual. Another goal was to find out how journalist constructed these frames. Qualitative analysis revealed six frames, which I named: Uncertain future of the EU, Lack of interest of Czechs for the EU, Absurd regulations of the EU, Necessary bureaucracy of the EU, Relevancy of the European parliament and European MPs and Inefficiency of European MPs. In analyzed journals prevailed negative frames over positive ones. As tools of framing authors used mostly headlines and captions. Selection of sources wasn't as important as choice of vocabulary and repetition of words in texts.
Journalist 2.0 Alexandr Mitrofanov: "an old-school journalist" in online environment
Krupa, Adam ; Hájek, Roman (advisor) ; Zápotocký, Jan (referee)
The thesis studies the way the journalists, who were used to publish their work in printed media, act in the environment of social network, namely Twitter. I primarily focused on a Twitter account of an influential political columnist, Alexandr Mitrofanov, who had been a long-term contributor to Právo newspaper. Mitrofanov has adapted very well on Twitter. Recently he is mostly known as a micro blogger, he has more than fifty thousand followers. The objective of the research is to find out how and in which way Mitrofanov is active on his Twitter account, what contributions, articles, or comments he posts and in which topics he is interested. I have used the Quantitative content analysis method to assess Mr. Mitrofanov's tweets. The results of the research indicate that Mitrofanov posts tweets every day, there is almost no difference between weekdays and weekends. He mainly makes comments on his follower's tweets. Alexandr Mitrofanov rarely retweets. He hardly ever uses hashtags. Mitrofanov's aversion to use this key element of Twitter (the tool which helps to sort topics and keep track of the news) is a proof that despite of high degree of adaptation to the online environment, Alexandr Mitrofanov still remains an "old-school journalist".
