The Master thesis deal with the design of a recreational object , the type of a mountain family hotel nearby the town of Brezno in middle of Slovakia. The goals will be to design a recreational and sports complex respecting nature and tradition. Mountain family hotel should offer accommodation and the possibility of spending an active holiday for tourists and families with children.

Architectural study of the sacral object Brno - Live /Líšeň/

The topic of this diploma thesis is design processing of a new sacral building in Brno-Líšeň district. It is a plot in the middle of a panel building between the health centre building and the building of the Salesian Youth Center, so-called Salesko. The Salesian community, which will use the building the most, has been waiting for the realization of this building for many years. The key theme is the creation of spaces enabling people to meet for worship, celebrations and social events. The design is processed by two interconnected operations - the building of the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit and the building of clergy house. The basic composition consists of three cubic masses - the entrance, the main liturgical space and the clergy house. The bell tower is the height dominant feature which indicates the sacral function of the building. The project consists a set of buildings with two above-ground floors and a basement in the entrance part of the church. This project also mentions the solution of open spaces around the plot and their conversion into quality public areas, marginally. The sacral space is to become a place that welcomes and takes in its visitors and gives them the feeling of safety. Inside this building, people will find peace, support and undestarstanding, so they may leave with the feeling of being a better person.

Architectural study of the sacral object Brno - Líšeň

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a new Roman Catholic church with conveniences, which will be located in the city of Brno - Líšeň, in the northwestern part of the cadastral area Líšeň, on a sloping plot, between Horníkova and Molákova streets, near the youth center ("Saleska"). The church will serve the Roman Catholic Congregation of the Selesians, who are attended to the education and work with children and youth. The church will be dedicated to the third Divine Person of the Holy Spirit. The main aim of the church is to be a place of meeting in the community of believers, but also a quiet and peaceful place to meet God. The proposal will also consider the construction of a vicarage, which should be a meeting place for parishioners at various events with the possibility of accommodating the Salesians. The idea is proceeded on the main symbols of the Salesians. The design is based on the idea of a home, a circle, which symbolizes the family atmosphere. It is derived from three pillars. The sense, the religion and the kindness, standing on a triangular background that serve as points to create a community bounded by circles. This fellowship is defined by three circular segments in the form of reinforced concrete framework structures, each of them represents one of the divine persons of the Holy Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The gaps among the structures serve for such an illumination, which does not distract the attention from the church to the outside environment and preserves the peace and the spirituality in the interior.

Children, Youth and Adult Leisure Centre

This bachelor thesis is based on my architectural study which was made in the winter semester of my third year. The subject of my thesis is children, youth and adult leisure centre, which is located in a gap between the apartment building and the gymnasium on Mojmírovo náměstí in Brno-Královo Pole. The building is intended to complement the needs of residents of this city district. Complex contains two buildings (building S01 and S02). Inside you can find large and small multipurpose hall, two music classrooms and 3 normal classrooms. Building S01 has four floors and has two separate operating units - large multipurpose hall and leisure center (class rooms). Building S02 is single-storey and contains small multipurpose hall. The street facade has white plaster that contrasts with the black aluminum construction. This element reflects with the park on Mojmírovo náměstí, but also aims to draw attention to the building and its content. On the roof is a terrace with shelter structure that allows climbing plants to grow up. This will create a small "oasis" on the roof in the middle of the city. In the courtyard is designed space with a fountain, which is located on the axis of a large window in multipurpose hall. An access pavement connecting this yard with Košinova Street on the northeast side of the plot is also designed for the axis.

Leisure Center - Mojmire

This bachelor thesis is based on my architectural study, which was made in the third year of the academic year 2018/2019. The main task for this study was to design a leisure center for children, youth and adults in the cadastral district of Mojmírovo náměstí, in Brno – Královo Pole. The aim of this thesis is to elaborate the study to the level of documentation for building permition and documentation for construction. The plot is located in a gap site between a 5 storey new residential building with a flat roof and a 2 storey historic building with a saddle roof. In the surroundings there are mostly 5 storey apartment buildings together with the original historical development of family houses. A design of the leisure center tries to respect the height levels of the surrounding buildings and their spatial zoning. The ground plan does not exceed the depth of the surrounding buildings and the surrounding buildings are not shielded. The structure is 4 storeys, without basement, oriented to the east and west side, based on the space of the gap site. It contains two independent functional units: a leisure center and a hall with commercial space. The proposed building with a garden can be used for leisure activities, cultural and social events, and it will also expand the insufficient capacity of the classrooms and the premises of the Košinova elementary school in the morning. In the afternoon, the building, including the garden, will serve as a public meeting point. The idea was to create a multifunctional building for the needs of the local community. The leisure center in this place has its merit, because it is located right on Mojmírovo náměstí in the center of the action and the large garden is connected to the elementary school Košinova. The idea of the study was in the maximum glazing of the facade, which will reflect various greenery on the square, so it will also be open to the community, thanks to its transparency. Viladům Masarykova quarter - Brno

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the new building of the villa in Masaryk district in Brno. The study is based on the previous subject AG032. The aim of the thesis is the elaboration of the design study up to the project documentation for the execution of the construction. The villa is located on the corner of Helcelet and Roubalov streets. The building site is smaller, hillside and it has irregular shape. The building site is used for housing. On the building site there is an older family house that will be demolished. The surrounding built-up area is characterized by family houses and apartment buildings. The villa has four above-ground floors and one underground floor with a collective garage and appropriate home furnishings. There will be one magnanimous apartment on each floor. The material is distinctive in a simple form. It is geometrically defined as a cuboid. The height of the object respects the height line of the surrounding built-up area. The overall appearance of the building completes the carved loggia, connecting the two sides of the house. The design of the villa is adapter to the hillside sloping terrain. The land is used in the building so that the lowest point of the building site serves as an entry into the underground garage. And the highest place of the building site serves as a barrier-free entrance to the building.

The Municipal Library of Frýdek-Místek

A library is a building that should not be forgotten. Currently, it is tough just to stop and have the calm around ourselves. This public institution may give us that as no other one around. It is not only about reading books, but the library may offer a lot of another possibilities from reading books through listening to music up to social events. Thus, this library is supposed to be oriented exactly like that for the city of Frýdek – Místek, since the city is not having any suitable premises for the institution nowadays. The building is designed in the park lot of the city centre of Místek. This bachelor thesis deals with a design for the library that is creating a new dominant building of the city as well as, together with given surroundings, another social centre where citizens can spend their leisure time.
