Episodická pamäť virtuálnych agentov: Klamné spomienky

The goal of this work is to design a model of episodic memory for virtual agents capable of creating false memories and implement its prototype. The model architecture is inspired by present day knowledge about human episodic memory. Core structures in our model are the chronobags storing details of experienced episodes, and the schemabag storing the general scripts for all experienced events. The episodes are stored in the form of AND-OR trees and it is possible to derive missing details from the stored scripts during recall. We followed the work of Burkert and implemented a prototype of designed memory model in Java using the Pogamut 3 Framework. The model is parameterizable and it is evaluated in several experiments. In these experiments we looked on the trends in correct and incorrect recalls over time and we simulated the experiment demonstrating existence of room schemata. We compared the results produced by our model with the data from psychological researches and we showed that our model can produce false memories similar to false memories recollected by humans.

US Foreign Policy towards Iran: A Comparison of presidents Bush and Obama

The topic of the diploma thesis is a comparison of the American activities during the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama towards Iran, in regard to the threat of nuclear weapons proliferation. It observes the diplomatic actions in relation to Iran and other actors, who play an important role in this issue, and also some other methods, used by the world's leading superpower to prevent Iran from the development of nuclear weapons. The mentioned topic is situated into the broader context of continuity and change in the US security and foreign policy. The objective of the diploma thesis is to assess what where the differences in the US actions under Obama's administration, compared with the actions during the presidency of his predecessor, as well as how the Obama's administration followed them, and to assess how effective these actions were.

On-line simulation of football league, learning of the team manager strategy using artificial intelligence

In the presented work is described a creation of simple football manager computer game. Game events are simulated by days. Control is accessible via the web browser. Simulating program simulates the matches by means of discrete simulation, the output of the simulation are text commentaries from the matches as well as simple two-dimensional display of the match progress. Managers influence the results of the matches by choosing tactics and selecting players for the matches. There is an artificial intelligence implemented for the managers, that are controlled by the computer program. For its implementation were used two different methods - simple hill climbing and genetic algorithms. Both methods are able to improve their performance during the simulation. In the conclusion of the work, results obtained by the methods are compared.

Financial Analysis of Nike Inc.

This diploma thesis examines the topic "Financial Analysis of Nike, Inc.".
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate financial situation of one of the best sports brands, multinational company Nike, Inc.
The thesis is divided into two parts. Firstly, the theoretical section introduces and defines basic terms about financial analysis and its objectives as well as explanation of horizontal and vertical analysis. Afterwards, fundamental and technical analyses are explained.
The second, practical section evaluates results based on fundamental and technical analysis, gain by data mining method. Graphics and diagrams are used to visualize and demonstrate changes in main activities of financial statements. The aim of this section is firstly to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of company and if it is reasonable to invest in its stocks.

Online Marketing Tools

This master's thesis deals with online marketing tools of the chosen company Makro Cash & Carry ČR. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current online marketing tools, to point out the weak points and to propose recommendations leading to more effective internet marketing.
The theoretical part focuses on online marketing as itself, from search engine optimisation to PPC advertising systems. Importance is also placed on new trends in online marketing, such as social networking and other forms of sales promotion. Final chapter is dedicated to measurability of results from analytical tools for tracking campaigns.
The practical part analyses the online marketing tools of the chosen company and submit recommendations from it.

This work is concerned with architecture of recent Nvidia graphics cards and application programming interface CUDA. That is used to create accelerated image processing library. It place emphasis on testing performance gain compassion with high optimized and used OpenCv library.
