Quality management of selected school educational and accommodation facilities

This thesis deals with the quality management of selected school educational and accommodation facility, specifically a youth home operating at the secondary school. The theoretical basis of the thesis covers areas such as upbringing, education, quality management in the broader sense, and quality management with specifics in education. The research section contains an analysis of the survey object, for which the structure of a self- evaluation report is proposed in the context of quality management. Included is a pilot evaluation performed based on the created questionnaire, interview, and monitored data. Additionally, a draft is provided of possible recommendations for quality improvement and pertinent adjustments to the documents of the youth home. The main resource for the empirical part of the study and following autoevaluation report are mainly Quality criteria of the Czech School Inspectorate in modification for youth homes. Marketing tactics and its application in the management of elementary art school

The diploma thesis deals with the application of marketing tactics, that is, in the form of a marketing mix in school management. It is based on theoretical knowledge in the field of marketing. Marketing tactics use elements of the marketing mix and these elements help the managers of the organization in compiling the offer so that the offer addresses the customers and satisfies their needs. The aim of the diploma thesis is based on the analysis of the current state of marketing management with a focus on elements of the marketing mix of the selected elementary art school to propose recommendations for innovation and especially through marketing communication tools to improve communication flows in relation to current and potential school clients, and thus increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of the school. The subject of the research part of the work is the analysis of the current state from the point of view of individual elements of the marketing mix. Use of coaching as an educational method in business organizations

Considering the frequent and fast changes, technology development, new processes and globalization, education becomes more and more important. It impacts not only individuals but also organizations that need to have high quality employees who will be able to react to the changes and adapt to new conditions. To ensure process effectiveness, it is necessary to select appropriate educational methods when educating employees. This thesis deals with coaching, and its aim is to evaluate the possibility of using coaching as an educational method in business organization. In the theoretical part, the comparative and content-analysis methods were used and in the empirical part the data were collected through questionnaire and semi-structured and unstructured interviews. Research was executed among employees of business organizations, human resources personnel and managers who had experience with coaching. It was supplemented by an interview with a professional coach who provides coaching in organizations. The goal of the survey was to identify benefits of coaching for employee education and to detect its potential constraints. Headteacher Competences within an Educational Institution

Most kindergartens are managed by a headmaster/ headmistress and their deputies (depending on the size of the kindergarten). There are some kindergartens which fall within the management of a primary, or even secondary school in the particular municipality, and the function of the headmaster/headmistress is taken over by the primary/secondary school principal. If that is the case, the kindergarten headteacher position is introduced, who is not a deputy but is in charge of the kindergarten and responsible to the principal. In this thesis, my concern are the competencies of a kindergarten headteacher as an educational institution leader. In the theoretical section, I focus on the headteacher position, what group management and control, documentation and material sourcing concerns in such a position; what determines the working hours, and the measure of participation in the organisation management. Furthermore, key competencies are described, and headteacher professional competencies are identified in detail: what kindergarten management deals with, what to imagine under the term educational process, and what the responsibilities are.
