Holiness in Fine Arts

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of holiness in fine arts in all three parts, namely in theoretical, didactic and fine arts level. The first part of the theoretical level focuses on the concept of holiness and individualization of experience with holiness with respect to manifestation of the category in a broad art context. With the use of specialist literature, the second section of the theoretical research follows on obtained findings about the holiness concept and it also deals with sacral space of The St. Wenceslas' Chapel at The Cathedral of St. Vitus and The Chapel of St. Cross at The Karlštejn Castle with regard to the possibility of a strong psychological effect from these venues. The didactic level is the logical outcome and a free inspiration of the theoretical part. It follows not only on the sacral space of both chapels but it also deals with secular usage of pupils. The main aim of all tasks is to guide pupils to think about category of holiness via their own visual expression in cross-subjects connection, that is with regard to social, cultural and historical context. Mythology in Visual Arts Education

The bachelor thesis is focused on coffered ceiling in the Golden Hall at the state Telč castle in Telč. Each coffer depicting mostly mytological narratives. The aim is to convey this cultural heritage and its iconological significance to high scholl students. Coffered ceiling is introduced by education program which includes catalogue style work book and subsequent art work in the atelier. Project is focused on awaraness of quality of czech cultural tradition and art originality. (ABSTRACT) Bachelor thesis is an approach to origins of art in the Paleolithic period, indicating in direct relation to the formation of stony artefacts. It emphasizes the fundamental aspects of the creative utilization of preconceptions and form Association, which explores and demonstrates using examples of artifacts created in South Moravia in the middle phase of the Upper Paleolithic. Their meaning is also in the speeches and concepts of modern art, by means of them finds a possibility to use in teaching art education. A research sample about the way how people handle family photographs and how they perceive the heritage of their ancestors is an integral part of the thesis. Dadaistic and constructivistic object and its inheritors

Submitted graduation theses has charakter as a theoretical study, which offers different views of questions of sameness and differences in dadaistic and constructivistic objects and in objects of its inheritors. I have made criterions to observe relation between these objects, criterions are: principle of creation, relation between content, form and matherial.We observe also using movement in object art. We show, that object-art have disturbed the then tradition of plastic art. New approach of matherial, decleration common thing as a part of art open up a lot of questions about function of art. The main aim of these theoretical study was to find out samenesses anddifferences in these objels, show a process of object art.We came to the conslusion that between dadaistic and constructivistic objels are some samenesses (for example discruption of visual art, realiton between system and chance, using movement). Didactical, didactical-visual and visual parts are fasten together with theoretical part. These parts watch on object art in two viewpoint: utilization of common thing as a dadaistic principle, relation between matherial and form as a constructivistic principle
Art mecenat of the Cross Order' s with the Red Star Grandmaster Francis Matthew Böhmb (1722-1750)

The paper aims on the cultural life of Francis Matthew Böhmb (1722- 1750), a native of Lubenec (Bohemia), Superior General of the Order of Crusaders with the Red Star in Prague. The Grand Master of the Order took the vows under the rule of sophisticated, erudite lawyer Grandmaster Martin Constantine Beinlich and in the second half of the 17th century tread in the steps of the Restorer of the Order, George Ignatius Pospichal. Sophisticated Böhmb became parish priest in Carlsbad firs. It was in 1720 when the General Prior called him to Prague as a Prior and after Beinlich's death was, on the feast of St. Agnes in March 2, 1722, unanimously elected Grand Master. Thesis followed particularly the cultural activities of the forenamed prelate, in the time of the day-to-day duties of the convent ad Pedem Pontis. It was Beinlich, begining to negotiate an extended Order range beyond the borders of the Czech Kingdom, however it was Böhmb's duty to realize this idea when, in 1723, he installed the Knights of the Cross in Bratislava (Pressburg), and ten years after, in Vienna. In Bratislava he let to build a new commendam's hospital there, as in Vienna, where he used the newly erected prestigious church of St. Charles Borromeo. Antique inspiration, Czech fine art and school education - Alone in Athens

This thesis intends to assess various inspirations of Czech art of the nineteenth, mainly twentieth century by ancient Greek tradition. Special emphasis is given to following two viewpoints: travelling on the one side and body and physicallity on the other. The first part concerns itself with artists travelling south to discover new impulses for their work, the second one deals with various approaches to body and physicallity inspired by Greek art. The didactic section presents an application of these topics to the elementary school Art Education. The practical part consists of two series of photos describing the subjective view of the present Greek metropolis.

The intention of work is to present theoretical knowledges of art history in kontext with art education and to describe the limits od educational work with religious topics. The first part presents the concept of cultural christianity and its position in czech curiculum. The second part presents historical study focused on iconografy of Madonna and Pieta, and the modifications of Madonna and Pieta in medieval ithalian painting in 13th and 14th century. On the knowledges of theoretical study is based educational project for grammar school students. Vizual problems of this the project are tested in specific artistic work. Doctoral thesis European and Far East bookbinding as a source of education at secondary schools and art universities Jan Hybner Anotation: This dissertation is intended especially for teachers of bookbinding at art schools and their students. It presents the construction of a book bound as a tool for artistic processing of a book alignment. The construction will be presented as a set of individual structural components. The text follows the previous publication - Stavíme knižní vazbu/Construction of Book Bound (?) (Hybner, 2015), in which the structural components were defined. Now they should be presented in their field, artistic and technological context. Work with the structural components is inspired by the pedagogical methods of Bauhaus, which are based on the construction of an art work from the elementary artistic components. The structural components of a book bound are used as parts of a building kit. Artistic value of the object is achieved by combining components into functional and aesthetic units. The "pre-school" of the elementary components is followed by their use in creative processing of a book bound. The art work with construction is developed through thematic tasks.
