Pregnancy is a period in a woman's life that fundamentally changes life of hers, of her partner and even of her whole family, because by the delivery a new individual is born. Naturally, the process of its development and growth is carried out via its mother, who usually carries it in her body for nine months, and during this period and even before conception, the individual's development is strongly influenced by mother's lifestyle. Healthy lifestyle, meaning primarily varied and balanced diet and adequate physical activity, can not only prevent countless malformations of the fetus, but also favourably affect the course of pregnancy itself and subsequent mother's rehabilitation after delivery. This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of nutrition and sport on pregnancy and fetal development. Roztočilová, Dominika ; Vacek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Svěcená, Kateřina (referee)
Background: In recent years, with the development of mass media, new concepts have emerged and often also referred to as "modern" addiction. Specifically, the concept of orth- orexia nervosa, which came in 1997 by American physician Steven Bratman, is now arous- ing interest among many experts. Many of them discuss whether to include this term in eat- ing disorders or other disorders, or to give it a separate place in classification systems. However, orthorexia has many similarities with addictive behaviour, and that is why I chosed this topic of bachelor thesis. Aims: My thesis actually focuses on the description of orthorexia from the perspective off addictive behaviour. It aims to map similar etiopathogenetic mechanisms involved in both disorders. Therefore the research objective is to describe the similarities between orth- orexia and addictive behaviour with a focus on risk factors from bio-psycho-social per- spectives. The work also deals with finding similarities in the process, diagnosis and treat- ment of the disease. In particular, biological, psychological and social factors related to the above-mentioned risk behaviour are monitored. Methods: Given the choice of case study, the thesis is based on qualitative research meth- ods. The research group consists of one respondent who is...

Vaňková, Andrea ; Váchová, Alena (advisor) ; Kovaříková, Miroslava (referee)
The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on organic food and ecological agriculture problematics. The primary objective is to point out advantages and disadvantages of organic food and therefore, I mention comparison of organic and conventional food in the thesis. The practical part investigates attitudes and levels of knowledge of students of selected lyceums about organic food. The quantitative research (survey) was conducted at three lyceums in Prague. The statistical methods were used to verify the stated assumptions. While processing the survey I have learned that students struggle with the field of healthy nutrition than with the field of ecological agriculture and therefore, a proposal of healthy nutrition and organic food lecture has been chosen as the pedagogical output of the thesis. A tutoring presentation will focus on students of lyceums and its purpose will be to raise awareness about this problematic.
