The Austrian avant-garde literature in the 1960' on the examples of Peter Handke and Wolfgang Bauer
Stejskal, Zdeněk ; Zbytovský, Štěpán (referee) ; Tvrdík, Milan (advisor)
Austrian avant-garde literature is nowadays considered an integral part of German literary history. Focusing on the avant-garde's early stage of the 1960s, the thesis seeks to look into (a) the conditions which gave rise to the progressive literature in the Austria of that time, and (b) its concrete manifestations in the works of the young authors. The opening part explains the origins of such a radical approach to form and content across literary genres. After 1945, Austrian culture and arts did not face the uncertain choice of literature in Germany, where another parting of the ways came in 1947, with the fundamentally different approaches between the West and the East. In Austria the initial debate was more efficient: the official policies clearly aimed at re-establishment of the modern and stable values as presented by the Austrian interwar great story-tellers such as Robert Musil and Hermann Broch. These efforts, however, were soon to become counterproductive. The conservative, and cumbersomely obsolete policies of the grand coalition between the social democratic SPÖ party and the newly established ÖVP party failed to provide fertile land for young authors, who grew up in the 1960s. It was these authors in particular who felt that the cultural and political atmosphere was extremely rigid, and that the...

Land snail shell degradation in forest environment
Říhová, Dagmar ; Horsák, Michal (referee) ; Juřičková, Lucie (advisor)
Experimental shell degradation of nine common Central European pulmonate snail species in forest ecosystems in the Czech Republic was investigated. Model shells were deposited for 6, 12, 24 and 36 months in leaf litter of six different places; than removed, dried and photographed. Set of alternations was analysed by CANOCO 4.5 statistical system. Small species degrade different from large ones. Large species corrode outwards, after periostracum disruption the ostracum dissolves and holes appear. Small species corrode out from within, calcium carbonate dissolves and small windows arise. The shell degradation proceeds with different rate on various localities. Some localities have characteristic types of alteration, e.g. peat bog pine forest exhibits ostracum dissolution and periostracum deformation. The ultimate influence of the degradation is caused by pH value and humidity. Shell shape and size have effect on its degradation. Moreover, other important decomposition agents are living animals. Legal regulation of the protection of forest
Hegerová, Martina ; Snopková, Tereza (referee) ; Drobník, Jaroslav (advisor)
77 Summary Legal regulation of forest protection The purpose of this Master's Degree Thesis is to examine the legal regulation of forest protection. The thesis focuses mainly on current forest legislation in the Czech Republic. The main purpose of this study is to ascertain whether the existing forest protection legislation is efficient and sufficient. And I also caused two general parts of legal regulation which are protection land designated to fulfil the function of forest and protection of forest against harmful factors. The work is divided into nine chapters. Chapter One defines the forest as a whole, its functions and questions of its protection. Chapter Two ascertains the legal regulation of international forest protection, European and national level. There is examined the national development of legal regulation of the forest protection. The aim of Chapter Three is to look at criteria used to divide forests into individual categories. Chapter Four defines the aims of protection land designated to fulfil the function of forest. Chapter Five examines the protection of forest agains harmful factors. The following Chapter Six defines the main legal regulation of forest economics. The aim of Chapter Seven is to describe the public use of forests. The next chapter, Chapter number Eight, talks about tha...

Working of crusaders of red star in West and North-west Bohemia by 1526. Possession of property, hospices and parish administration
Janderová, Andrea ; Hledíková, Zdenka (referee) ; Bobková, Lenka (advisor)
Knight order of crusaders of red star is the only male catholic church order of Czech origin. lt is connected to the beginning of Franciscan movement in the Czech lands and to the personality of St. Agnes the Czech, who founded a hospic for the poor, sick and elderly in 1233. This hospic was built together with cloister of female branch of the Franciscan order in neighbourhood of St. Hastal church in the Old Town of Prague. Running of the hospic was apointed to lay fraternity. In 1234, king Wenceslas 1. adressed a protec ti ve document to the fraternity, shortly followed by a Papal bull, which ensured subordination of Na Františku cloister directly to Papal stooJ. Another buJ] from 1237 became also the confirmation document of the new order, appointed to run the hospic. The order became independent by-law, but property-wise it stayed dependent on the St. Frances cloister. The following year, Agnes in behalf of the c10ister gaye up aU their fortune and the Pope Gregory IX gaye the hospic together with all its belongings to master and friars of the hospic order. In 1252 the base stone was laid to the new hospic and church of the order, the central residence at the end of the old Judith's Bridge. Moving to the new quarters marked the end of a first phase of order's development and it was a beginning of a new...

Intitucional support of bavarian export and foreign direct investment, with a focus on the Czech Republic
Mejstříková, Pavla ; Jiránková, Martina (advisor) ; Žamberský, Pavel (referee)
This master thesis deals with the support of the Bavarian export, especially from the Land of Bavaria and various institutions. The theoretical part describes the usable forms of export opportunities and export promotion policies. In the next section I focus on the distribution of the Bavarian foreign direct investment by country, where they are heading, and vice versa from where the investment are flowing into Bavaria. Draft set of machinery for a comprehensive solution to the maintenance of public areas in the selected village.
KRÁL, Josef
During quality maintenance of the land, their equipment, etc. is carried out a wide range of activities that result in the aesthetics and functionality of the environment. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose effective means for the maintenance of these area in the selected village. Determination of the optimal technique is based on character, size and intensity of the performed maintenance.

Influence of annealing to stress in CNx:(H) films observed by SLEEM
Mikmeková, Eliška ; Mikmeková, Šárka ; Müllerová, Ilona ; Sobota, Jaroslav
The effect of high residual stress on the quality of thin sputtered carbon nitride films has been studied by Scanning Low Energy Electron Microscopy (SLEEM). Basically, two different types of stress can be identified in thin films: compressive stress and tensile stress. Compressive stress leads to wrinkling and film delamination and tensile stress can cause the fracturing of thin films. Experiments were made in the Tescan TS 5130 MM equipped with the Cathode Lens system (CL), which enable us to observe samples at arbitrary landing energies of the illuminating electrons. Operating of a SEM at low energies offers several advantages: an increase of materials contrast via low energy, high ratio SE, BSE signal and noise, smaller interaction volume and elimination of charging effects. The effect of annealing in vacuum to residual stress (calculated from Stoney’s equation) was measured. The porous character of films was observed by thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS).

Evaluation of Investment into Brownfield Redevelopment in Prague
Krylová, Kateřina ; Boukal, Petr (advisor) ; Krause, Josef (referee)
This Master's Thesis deals with the evaluation of investment into residential redevelopment of a former Libeň's harbour in Prague. The Thesis' aim is to decide whether the planned project creates enough profit and to find what is the maximum price the developer should be willing to pay for the land. The theoretical part focuses on key words definition, specification of investment decisions and describes evaluation methods including the definition of input parameters. The practical part includes strategic analysis evaluating macroeconomic situation of Czech republic, Prague's real estate market and describing the forces, which determine the competitive environment of the project. The investment evaluation is based on the data ascertained in strategic analysis using the methods described in the theoretical part. The risk analysis is finally applied on the evaluation methods' results.
