The communication barriers between teachers and parents in nursery school

The bachelor thesis focuses on communication barriers between kindergarten teachers and parents of children. The aim of the thesis is to find out what barriers prevent the establishment of a partnership relationship between teachers and parents and what pitfalls affect the relevant transfer of information about children and events in kindergarten. The theoretical part is devoted to the concept of communication in general, its characteristics, division, actors of communication, principles of effective communication, methods of communication in kindergarten and deals with possible causes of unsuccessful communication on the part of the teacher and on the part of the parent. The practical part explores through a quantitative research investigation the most common methods of communication between educator and parent, identifies the barriers to communication and looks for possible solutions to prevent and remove the barriers found. The results of the questionnaire survey show that the biggest barrier in communication is the lack of time, which hinders the transfer of information between the two actors. The most frequent and most popular form of communication for teachers and parents is face-to-face meetings.
The impact of kindergarten teacher on the children from socially disadvantaged environment

The diploma thesis deals with kindergarten teachers who devote themselves to children from socially disadvantaged family backgrounds. It monitors the influence of teachers on a preschool child from this environment. The theoretical part elaborates on professional knowledge about preschool children, and the approach of kindergarten teachers to preschool children in the environment of kindergarten. It also concerns the socially disadvantaged family environment and its characteristics. It monitors the importance of kindergarten for these children. It processes information on the social and legal protection of children. Last but not least, it considers the issue of other helping professions. The practical part is focused on examining the experience and attitude of kindergarten teachers towards children from the environment mentioned above. It reveals the view of teachers on children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds in terms of the characteristics of the environment. It deals with the attendance of children in kindergarten and its importance for preschool children. It monitors the cooperation of teachers with OSPOD and other organizations involved. Healthy lifestyle education as a part of pre-school children's life.

The bachelor thesis deals with education of a healthy lifestyle in preschool children. In the theoretical part, the concept of health is defined and the factors that could threaten it are summarized. Furthermore, general knowledge about a healthy lifestyle and its principles specific to the preschool period are briefly mentioned in the thesis as well. Attention is also given to the influence of the family environment, the kindergarten environment, their interaction with the child and to projects that can become a tool for health promotion in kindergartens. The aim of the practical part was to find out what parents' and teachers' attitudes towards healthy lifestyles are and whether they lead children to them. This was done through a questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. The results showed that both parents and kindergarten teachers lead children to a healthy lifestyle and in most cases try to live an active and healthy lifestyle themselves. Work satisfaction of nursery school teachers

The work focuses on the selection and further study of factors concerning work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. The theoretical part of the final bachelor's thesis presents findings from literature review concerning definitions, signs, determinants and theories of work satisfaction and related subjects. Consequently the work concentrates on the analysis of real life assets related to kindergarten teachers' work performance. A questionnaire survey in the practical part of this work identifies the most explanatory factors of work satisfaction. Another focus is on the importance of other variables influencing the general work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. Levels of current work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers are then compared among the three regions within the Czech republic. The survey results together with theoretical findings may provide more detailed point of view under the given conditions as well as serve to managers with topics for consideration and resposible approach to this subject. Transforming the Concept and Perspective of the Czech Kindergarten

The aim of the thesis was to systematically record and analyse the transformation of the Czech kindergarten after 1989. To understand the transformation of the kindergarten based on the testimonies of kindergarten teachers with a long touch of practice and to create a coherent continuity of ideas that allow to understand the transformation of Czech pre- school education. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research parts. The theoretical part describes the changes that the education and care of the little ones has undergone over the century. In the introductory chapter, the author briefly discusses the beginnings of preschool education. Knowing that this period is too far removed from the present and from education as a whole, but the central roots and historical transformations of preschool education are so central to the thesis that the author briefly mentions them. After the events of November 1989, Czech preschool was also undergoing transformational changes. Psychological aspects of creative play in polytechnical education in kindergarten

The bachelor's thesis on the topic "Psychological aspects of creative play in polytechnic education in kindergarten" deals with the analysis of the influence of the polytechnic education on the development of preschool children. The aim of this work is to give the kindergartens, which have the opportunity to mediate it to children at such an early age, an idea of what the polytechnic education is and how it works, and for which can be particularly beneficial. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of a preschool child, on the definition of the concept of play and the concept of creativity, and on the clarification of the main ideas of polytechnic education in preschool education. The thesis also points out the specific features, forms and methods of the polytechnic education and presents its relationship with science literacy and environmental education. Social and Work Climate in the Kindergarten

The present thesis summarises information about today's kindergarten, about its important curriculum policy documents and about the main participants of its educational process - the teacher and the pre-school children. It deals with the school climate and with its influencing factors, focusing on the work climate in kindergartens, namely on human relations, communication and its risks. This thesis maps and evaluates kindergarten teachers' perception of the social and work climate and what they find prominent, how the school/class climate quality influences kindergarten teachers' work performance, what sort of factors encourage the optimal climate and what sort of factors curb it. It aims to verify the functioning of teachers' pedagogical cooperation in classroom curriculum development and the functioning of collective activities in kindergarten. The process of integrating socially disadvantaged children into the kindergarten environment

I create a diploma thesis with a combination of quantitative and qualitative research, which examines the process of integrating children into the environment of kindergartens. In this work, I comprehensively find out how the kindergarten team participates in the process of inclusion of socially disadvantaged children. In the theoretical part I characterize social pedagogy and groups of socially disadvantaged children, including the legislative definition. I mention documents relating to pre-school education and mention counseling services that serve teachers, parents and children in the field of social disadvantage. I divide the practical part into two phases of research. For the first phase of the empirical part, I choose quantitative research, where I find out by the method of a questionnaire survey, general information of teachers in the given issue, basic orientation in school documents and different methods of work. In the second phase of the practical part, in the form of qualitative research, I create unstructured interviews. Through the interview, I supplement the information obtained from the questionnaire survey and obtain comprehensive data on the process of integrating socially disadvantaged children into kindergarten. The recorder and its use by a teacher in kindergarten

The subject of this thesis is the use of recorders in the hands of teachers in the implementation of the entire spectrum of musical activities in kindergarten. The theoretical part outlines the history of the recorder and its types. This part contains the musical development of a child aged 3 to 6 and its musical skills and abilities in this area, according to the Framework Education Program for Preschool Education and the curriculum formerly used. It also includes information on how current secondary pedagogical schools and higher vocational school of pedagogical are engaged in the education of future kindergarten teachers as for playing the recorder. The practical part describes action research in order to create a clear description of several musical units verified in practice. The first phase of the research covers the preparation and implementation of activities already published Mgr. Milena Kmentová, Ph.D. and MgA. Eva Nevoralová with final revision. Further, I will deal with developing and testing my own lessons in practice again with final reflection.
