Evaluation of Biometric System - Eye Iris Technology
Mlčoch, Luboš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Dittrich, Petr (advisor)
This thesis briefly describes basic biometric terms, a brief history of biometrics, biometric system and its performance and characteristics. Basic principles of iris recognition technology are also discussed. Finally, this thesis describes tests performed on various iris recognition systems and sums up the results.
Dungeon Lords Board Game
Kawulok, Lukáš ; Kubát, David (referee) ; Doležel, Michal (advisor)
In this work I am describing transformation board game Dungeon lords into computer game. Computer version of the game will have the same rules as board version.Final build of the game allows network playing, saving of game and loading of the saved game. During development of the game is aviable only board version. In documentation I describe steps of developing and also rules of the game. In the end is described the way of testing and also revieling of bugs and their repair. Projet was created in C# language in MS Visual Studio 2010. To creation of GUI is used WDF technique.
Rules and Strategies Implementation of RedBot Competition
Orava, Martin ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Květoňová, Šárka (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with creating rules of RedBot programming competition. This competition is organized by RedHat company and is designed for students' teams. The objective of thesis is to describe process of making competition rules and implementation of evaluation server for assessing results of the competition. The other objective is to implement visualization utility for view of the game and implementation of basic routine which is useful for faster strategy creation.
Risk Process Evaluation
Jakab, Robert ; Ráb, Jaroslav (referee) ; Marušinec, Jaromír (advisor)
The first part of my work is focused on technology of Oracle. Here are mentioned individual languages, which works with data and different data types. Here is made clear manner, how are data saved in the database. Next I described technology of Apollo, on which information system Apollo is build. Next part of my work is analyze, in which is described present state of evaluation risk process and requests, which are layed on this module. Following chapter is implementation. There are described both database schema and by detail parts of module in a form of strips. Here is at large interpreted the way how to value risk and risk process. This chapter contains print reports for this module as well. The next chapter is dedicated to how module was brought to functioning. Except making this module running in information system Apollo is here a chapter about education of employees. In the closure I present evaluation of reached results, show next development and present my own benefit.
Intracellular Calcium Measurement Methods
Číhal, Martin ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This work aims to focus on the issue of intracellular calcium. Not only the theory dealing with the history of fluorescent indicators but also the types of fluorescent indicators and methods of measurements are summarized. The individual steps of measurements on the fluorescent microscope are mentioned as well. There is also created a program for evaluting Ca2+ concentrations in cells made in matlab.
Evolutionary Solving of Rubik's Cube
Kollner, Aleš ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with solving of the Rubik's cube. It describes the Rubik's cube and the famous methods for its composition. The main goal of this work is to propose an evelutionary method that for any configuration of blocks will lead to its composition. The theis describes the problem encoding, the proposed evelutionary algorithm and its proper configuration and deployment. The achieved results are commented on and compared with other known mehtods in conclusions.
Evaluation of Key Point Detection Methods
Kordula, Jaroslav ; Venera, Jiří (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to get familiarized with software component Microsoft .NET Framework and the problems of methods of interest point detection. On the basis of this knowledge, it is required to develop a method for the evaluation of used detectors and then implement a console application that is simply able to evaluate the results of interest point detection methods. Such evaluation is important in the process of development of the algorithms for the detection using projected method of evaluation. The interest points are searched in several images which represent the same scene from different angles of view. The requirements also inculde creation of graphic user interface that allows an easy way to setup the evaluation conditions.
A Control System for Applications Testing in Linux
Beneš, Eduard ; Vojnar, Tomáš (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis discusses the area of a control system for application testing in Linux. There is a need for testing software and its quality using automated software tools. Huge number of testing tools is available, Red Hat Test System (RHTS) being one of them. Dierent approaches to classi cation and evaluation of a testing tools are presented. Selected software testing tools were evaluated and compared with RHTS. The thesis then presents a design of a system for non-interactive application testing in Linux with support for RHTS tests and with focus on future enhancements. Implemented system is nally tested using proposed set of tests and several usage examples are described.
Assessment of speech signal quality
Tuleja, Peter ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
This paper discusses methods for evaluating the quality of the speech signal. Briefly describe the subjective methods for determining the quality of the speech signal. From subjective methods the pair-wise comparison and MOS score are presented. Objective intrusive methods are described in more detailed way - namely methods of the segmental SNR evaluated in time domain, method of the segmental SNR evaluated in the frequency domain and frame normalization method which uses LSE based estimator. At the end of this paper is described an experiment, in which the aforementioned methods are compared and than statistically evaluated.
Motivation and Evaluation of Employees
Hrbáčková, Soňa ; Zbožínek, Pavel (referee) ; Konečný, Štěpán (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of motivation and evaluation of employees of the researched company. The first part contains theoretical bases of motivation, evaluation and remuneration of employees. The theoretical part is a basis for processing the second analytical part, where the company is described and with the help of a questionnaire survey assessed the current motivational and evaluation system of the company. Based on the results of the survey are in the last section suggested possible improvements or potential solutions of identified problems.
