Hien, Phung Thi Phuong ; Kolář, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Vališová, Alena (referee) ; Raudenská, Věra (referee)
The aim of this dissertation is to help to improve the quality of teaching world literature in Vietnam, while making use of the experience with teaching this literature at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. This dissertation is based on studying professional pedagogical texts, as well as on hands-on teaching experience both in Vietnam and in the Czech Republic. Treatises and studies mainly by Czech authors and to a certain extent also by educationalists of worldwide reputation have served as theoretical background. Textbooks in both Vietnam and the Czech Republic may well be of use. This work is also founded on the author's practical experience with teaching from Vietnam. The cooperation with Czech teachers has proved extremely interesting and helpful in a number of points. Firstly, I had the chance to observe a number of lessons. Secondly, interviews with teachers and specialists have been a source of practical experience and information for me. Furthermore, there are experimental classes, to which the methods I suggested were applied to. With regard to surveys and conditions in Vietnamese schools, the proposed methods of teaching world literature will be adapted to teaching literature in Vietnam, while respecting the cultural, social, geographical and philosophical differences between Vietnam and...

Hybner, Jan ; Daniel, Ladislav (advisor) ; Hazuková, Helena (referee) ; Olivová, Lucie (referee)
Doctoral thesis European and Far East bookbinding as a source of education at secondary schools and art universities Jan Hybner Anotation: This dissertation is intended especially for teachers of bookbinding at art schools and their students. It presents the construction of a book bound as a tool for artistic processing of a book alignment. The construction will be presented as a set of individual structural components. The text follows the previous publication - Stavíme knižní vazbu/Construction of Book Bound (?) (Hybner, 2015), in which the structural components were defined. Now they should be presented in their field, artistic and technological context. Work with the structural components is inspired by the pedagogical methods of Bauhaus, which are based on the construction of an art work from the elementary artistic components. The structural components of a book bound are used as parts of a building kit. Artistic value of the object is achieved by combining components into functional and aesthetic units. The "pre-school" of the elementary components is followed by their use in creative processing of a book bound. The art work with construction is developed through thematic tasks. The use of functional components as art components is generally applied in applied art. The concept based on teaching of...

Morávková, Simona ; Pokorná, Věra (advisor) ; Michalová, Zdena (referee)
Bad succes of children is one of the most common topics of pedagogical and psychological literature in all the civilizated countries. Since sixties experts hav realised that the remedy oťall kinds of defects shouldn't be orientated only on children's behaviour, but on their globál condition. This should be an importatnt turnaround. Since then vve don't use a term: "disorder", byt vve ťocus on iťs solution itselť. For example vvhat to do vvhen a pupil switches letters while vvriting, has problems with reading, or even is difficult to control, cheats, steals things. My essay could be a kong of motivation to give the children more time, trying to get to knovv them better. The most imortatnt thing is chilďs sociál situation and iťs position in group, family, school. We should also try to fing out its way of communication. Iťs neccesary to communicate with a pupil as an individual.

The aim of the research part of my bachelor thesis was to map institutions acting in the field of organisation of leisure activities for children and youth from groups threatened with social exclusion in the Pilsen region. The research questions I have put in the way, that I would ascertain, if the supply of leisure activities for children and youth from groups threatened with social exclusion in the Pilsen region is various and also, if supplied leisure activities for children and youth from groups threatened with social exclusion are financial available even for underprivileged families. For the purpose of the research I have addressed 47 institutions providing leisure activities for children and youth in the Pilsen region, from which only 11 have cooperated with me. From these I have chosen for the next cooperation the institutions, which organise leisure activities for children and young people from groups threatened with social exclusion. The majority of my respondents, specifically seven, are made up from houses for children and youth, I have cooperated with three institutions, which are directed to work with children and youth threatened with social exclusion, it's referring to Association of Romany civil initiatives AMARE, ČHAVE, Club Atom and the Children's home with school, primary school and school dining room Měcholupy. I have also cooperated with Centre of leisure time Pilsen. I have ascertained with the survey that the broadest supply of leisure activities in the Pilsen region is in big towns. From the survey follows that even in smaller towns is the supply of leisure activities, regarding number of interested persons, sufficient. Children have the biggest interest for motion and creative activities. The major part of interested persons for leisure activities are made up from girls and boys of younger school age, approximately from the second degree of primary school girls predominate. To promotion of the supply of leisure activities interviewed institutions use web pages and handbills, or they advertise in the press or in Facebook. The majority of them cooperate with school institutions and town cultural centres. Financial means can institutions gain from various sources, for example fees from participants, endowments, sponsors and own activity. Concerning financial availability of leisure activities, the financial aspect should not discourage in visit of the interest circle. The major part of activities can be replaced monthly, somewhere it is enabled to pay just visited lections. Some institutions provide leisure activities even quite free of charge, some can the fee in well-founded cases decrease or entirely forgive. Family can in well-founded cases apply by relevant social division for allowance on leisure activities for their children. The aim of this thesis is to design a software for elementary, middle and high schools, which will serve to create alternative timetables for staff substitutions. There are similarly oriented programs, but most schools don't use them. These programs contain many flaws, which are also discussed in this work. Creating substitution schedules is complicated, and a lot of conditions must be taken care of. Checking of all the conditions should be the main advantage of the application. Design and implementation of the application is based on requirements by a school, where substitution timetables are produced manually. Great emphasis is placed on user friendliness and ease of use.
