The thinking of picture
Řebíková, Barbora ; Kouba, Pavel (referee) ; Petříček, Miroslav (advisor)
The text tries to study the classical theory of mimésis, that contains motives which has influenced our understanding of the reality (image) up to today. The attention is paid to the classical determination of mimésis in the Plato's and Aristotle's work. The work attempts to study besides the classical form of the theory also the transformation in modern philosophical environment. At first it studies the change in definition, the determination of minésis as a projection and representation. It points to the variable accent similarities in the studied theory. Then the work analyses the idea positions of Nelson Goodman, who wholly denies the role of similarity for determination of the art theory as a imitation and he builds the realism on totally different base. There are two models of vision described at the conclusion of the work that correspond with the proposed determination of menésis. The work is the base of the reality (image) mind, that could continue with studying of the contemporary art from the theory point of view.

Novotná, Nora ; Junková, Vendula (referee) ; Štětovská, Iva (advisor)
The thesis investigates the process of becoming a psychotherapist in the context of systemic therapy. It outlines philosophical and psychotherapeutic roots of the systemic approach, emphasizing postmodern thinking, in particular poststructuralism, radical and social constructivism and modern biological gnoseology. The work discusses theoretical foundations as well as practical applications of the teaching of the Prague Institute for Systemic Therapy (IST). It covers five main lines of thoughts in systemic thinking - the Milan school of family therapy, strategic therapy by Milton Erickson, brief solution-focused therapy (BSFT), Hamburg school and the narrative approach. The work focuses on defining and delineating the role of the therapist and the client, and their cooperation in the therapeutic dialogue. It emphasizes therapist's self-reflection during the therapeutic process as the primary way of influencing the client, and it discusses models which make the self-reflection more efficient. The art of dialogue is presented as the fundamental skill of a systemic therapist. Last but not least, the work covers an important area of systemic ethics and supervision. The empirical part of the work investigates, using the qualitative based interview, the process of becoming a therapist on a sample of 19...

Christian educatio in life and work of selected historical personalities
Schicker, David ; Váňová, Růžena (referee) ; Lorenzová, Jitka (advisor)
Christian educatio is the topic of this work which is partly a theoretical, partly a historical, partly a historically comparative study. The Christian educatio is understood here as the purest expression of the essence of education. In the introduction we show the notion of education as it is used in the modern pedagogical theory. In the next chapter we deal with the definition of the Christian educatio. Since we also try to use the historical approach, we present the Plato's concept of education as a precursor of the educatio. Next we continue with the middle age and introduce st. Augustine and st. Francis of Assisi. We show the way these personalities tried to fill up the idea of the Christian educatio in their lives. In the last chapter we occur in the period when the notion of education as the sense of the Christian educatio is being weakened. We choose the personalities that still consider this notion of education as the biggest ideal of human being, and that at the same time try to transfer it into their lives and work. The aim and the purpose of this work is to show one of the inspiring notion of education and to ask the reader to think about the current situation.

From Feudalism to Capitalism - Institutional Analysis of the West
Radošťanová, Iveta ; Mládek, Josef (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Pavel (referee)
European society has passed a distressful development on its way to its current form. Every phase of this wandering to the higher levels and shapes of the civilization is characterized by certain organization of the social ties, what I would like to take a closer look at. I will consider a development in the western countries at the time, when feudal system of the medieval society appeared to be archaistic and deficient, whereat it was replaced by a new social system, which was modern and which was able to stand with transforming needs of the society better than narrow-minded feudalism. I will not enquire the exact historical development, my tendency is to analyse the institutional changes more generally. First I will try to describe general traits of the transition, then I will attend to some concrete countries and their differences. I will talk about France, Spain, the Netherlands and England.

Páchová, Markéta ; Munzi, Tomáš (advisor) ; Zemplinerová, Alena (referee)
This thesis is focused on taxi service, which is one of the most regulated services in a modern society. State intervenes into this branch not only by barriers of entry but also by price regulation. I try to take a think if the state intervention is the best solution for its effective function. As the theoretical ground of my investigation I used the general theories of regulation and findings of foreign studies that deal with this market. As the specific example I used the market of taxi service in Prague, which has not been enjoying a good reputation. I try to map its situation and judge the regulation imposed on it. I target the price regulation which has been established since 1991. I sketch the main impacts of price deregulation and the other solution of contemporary situation.

Horník, Vlastimil ; Vališová, Alena (referee) ; Koťa, Jaroslav (advisor)
The intent of this thesis is to chart educational technology issues. In the theoretic part I'm engaged in universal questions related to school modemizing, teachertechnique relations and a teacher's role in a leaming process supported by an educational technology. In addition to a traditional educational technology and a literature about it, I'm interested in a modem educational technology used along with computers. Except a summary ofthis technology I'm thinking about its use. In the practical part I worked out a case study that charts the process of selected secondary school modemizing. For this purpose I have chosen a school I'm teaching at. It has provided me to get down more in a process of the school modemizing. Even if this part is intended on one concrete school I suppose that problems which have appeared there are similar as in other schools. An outcome of this thesis is a summary of key issues related to a process of modemizing and an indication of next development in this sector.
