Financial sources of the unversities from companies and the management influence

In the presented thesis the possibility of entering of the private sector - especially companies - into the financing of universities were investigated. Then the relationships and influences necessary to strengthen this relationship were analyzed either because of the planned reform of terciary education or attempts of companies to participate at the university managing. The condition changes have been proposed - reform of the terciary education, reducing the isolation of universities and also companies. It also outlines possible solutions, including tax breaks for companies or greater involvement of doctoral students.
Economic aspects of PPP projects

Thesis is focused on the analysis of the application Public Private Partnership within the financing of public infrastructures projects. Public infrastructure financing has traditionally lain in the domain of public sector. A tightening of many countries' budgets recently has led to an exploration of alternative resources for financing transport infrastructure as e.g. PPP. The aim of the thesis is to compare or evaluate which form of financing (PPP or using only public finance esp. issue of public bonds) is more effective. The thesis is separate into 2 important parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis provides the general description of PPP projects, international experiences and about the legal and institutional framework within the EU and Czech Republic. Practical part of the thesis is focused on the main advantages and disadvantages of PPP projects. Here is also part devoted to the financial models using for the comparison which form of financing (PPP or traditional public procurement) is more efficient. Conclusion of the thesis summarizes the gained findings and also assesses which form of financing is more efficient.
Public-private partnership in health service

Improving the quality and efficiency of health care is still one of the most important areas of each country. Even in times of economic and financial crisis, this issue has been increasingly taken into account. Due to lack of funds, ministries of health search for a partner for investments, in the form of public-private partnership, aimed at increasing the quality of services, which some countries such as Great Britain has already have long experience with. My aim will be to determine whether it is effective to establish public-private projects in hospitals in the Slovak Republic. Focusing on the effectiveness of these partnerships and cost recovery put into them and to create a conclusion about their actual functioning.
The Market and Public Sector in Developing Countries

In the aim of my bachelor's thesis was discovering extent of the public and the private sector in The Least Developed Countries. At first, I was dealing with clarification of basic concepts and with definition of signpots, which helped me to discover extend of sectors. On the base obtained information I came to the conclusion, that the private sector had larger extent than the public sector. This conclusion applied to all three countries, Ethiopia, Nepal and The Czech Republic.
PPP projects and barriers to development of PPP in the Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on the Public Private Partnership and obstacles inhibiting its development in the Czech Republic. The goals of this paper include specification of the Public Private Partnership subject, analysis of the current situation of PPP projects in the Czech Republic and identification of the most important obstacles to its usage in the Czech Republic. This thesis can serve as the starting point for obtaining general knowledge about Public Private Partnership. Moreover, this paper mentions information about current state of PPP projects in Europe and the Czech Republic. Based on the interviews with experts on PPP and the relevant literature which was researched, the final part of this thesis is dedicated to the discovered barriers to development of PPP in the Czech Republic.

This Bachelor Thesis deals with Public Private Partnership. In the first part there is a PPP definition, there are specified basic characteristic features of this partnership and sumed up basic historical findings about PPP. The Thesis concentrates on advantages and disadvantages, resulting from this partnership, on definition of basic types of PPP projects and their sector division. The second part of the Thesis is focused on particular PPP project Buildind-up and Operating of Prison with High Security and its analysis. It informs about reasons for building of these premises and about expected aims of the submitters. The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to identify whether the implementation of the project is attractive for private partners.
Public Private Partnership and its utilization in active employment policy

This thesis analyses partnership between public and private sector in the field of education and active employment policy. My goals are to implement the theoretical analysis of the characteristics and types of Public-Private Partnership and to review the advantages and risks this partnership bears. In the next part I look at the PPP possibilities in education system in Czech Republic. And finally I will sum up the foreign experience and how it could help with the intricacies of this sector.
Public Private Partnership and its possibilities within judiciary

The thesis acquaints readers with the concept of Public Private Partnership (PPP). This terminology represents the mutual cooperation between public and private sector. The first part of my bachelor project explains the forms of Public Private Partnership, its history, pros and cons, which the cooperation brings to each sector and the projects, that were have been begun in the Czech republic so far. The second part engages in the particular pilot project, which is the construction of the prison with the security guard. My goal was to analyse the development and the current status of prisoners in the Czech republic and all demonstrate a necessity of the new cells. The thesis also explains and compares financial flow between PPP and PSC (Public Sector Comparator). The last but not least the thesis indicates a comparsion with the successful foreing project.
Public Private Partnership and its use in in transport infrastructure

Abstract The theme of my thesis is mutual cooperation between public and private sector called Public Private Partnership. The theoretical part explains the concept of Public Private Partnership, its history, pros and cons which this partnership bears, and branches in which PPP is used. In the second part two case studies of pilot projects in transport infrastructure in Czech Republic are analyzed. The goal is to analyze the application of PPP in these projects and in one unsuccessful project. Part of the analyses is also a review of reasons why the unsuccessful project failed and furthermore the review of potential risks of using PPP.
Recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees (comparision of public and privat sector)

The aim of the dissertation is description and comparision of recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees. The theoretical part of the theses includes the perfect proceeding of the process. In the application part of the theses I describe the structure of organizations and the whole proces in the organizations. I discovered some deficiencies and I suggested the solution how to make the process better in both organizations.
