1. ABSTRACT AND KEY WORDS Thema: Using EMG for comparing correct technic of upper limb recovery phase in the front crawl. Introduction: Our measurement is aimed to detect influence of muscles activity of the shoulder joint and back during the upper limb recovery phase in the front crawl. Monitoring and recording muscles activity by EMG inform about movement stereotype of our probands. We've tried to localized uncorrect activation oppossite to optima! muscle activity of (ex) competitive swimmer. Results of measuremens are used for correction of faulty upper limb recovery stereotype. Results should enlarged knowledge about technic of recovery and help in way of teaching both competitive and noncompetive swimmers, like students of FTVS UK (Fakulty of phyzical education and sport at The Charles University in Prague), which learns to swim in the age of adulthood. Protocol and measurements: Muscles were selected acording recommendation of leader of my diploma dissertation Mgr. Daniel Jurák. The ]ocations of the electrodes on the body were chosen acording to the recommendation of MUDr. David Pánek. Groups of muscles round shoulder joint were measured using EMG during the upper limb recovery phase in the front crawl. The EMG is synchronized with videorecorder. Both videorecord and EMG rneasurernent were analysed by...

The constantly growing desire for discovering new landscapes, cultures, education and economic profit exerts pressure on the environmental and social surroundings that are stronger in the protected areas (PA). State and private spheres make an effort to regulate the flow of visitors through sustainable management, to which the promotion and coordination of all stakeholders of tourism is the main aim. The aim of this diploma work is to describe the situation in education of children in older pupilage with speciál learning disabilities at primary school in Prague and to determinate concrete pedagogical and student needs. Then is the work focused on creating an enumeration of possible methods and procedures that may contribute to optimalization of care about children with learning disabilities in the school background with taking into account of after school activities. In the theoretical part I mention summary of existing findings from the area of specific learning disabilities and characterisation of children in older pupilage with a view to psychosocial position of children with speciál learning disabilities. In the practical part I analyse and explicate the data obtained by quesdonnaire survey and supplemental interviewing with pedagogical workers from monitored primary school. On the basis of determination of problematical areas in care for children with learning disabilities in older pupilage I summarise possible approaches to education with application of my own pedagogical cxpcriences and litera ture.

Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Šárka Košťáková Supervisor: doc. PharmDr. Iva Boušová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Assessment of activity and expression of selected isoforms of glutathione S-transferase in the in vivo model of glutamate-induced obesity Obesity is a chronic disease with an increasing prevalence worldwide. This disease is associated with many pathophysiological changes in the organism; a possible influence on the antioxidant defenses of the organism is one of them. The aim of this study was to determine specific activity, protein expression and mRNA level of selected isoforms of glutathione S-transferase (GST) in the cytosol obtained from kidney and heart of the male NMRI mice with the obesity induced by repeated subcutaneous administration of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and in healthy controls. The specific activities were assayed by spectrophotometric method using universal and specific substrates. Protein expression of GST isoforms from GSTA, GSTM and GSTP families was monitored using denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and immunoblotting. The mRNA level of selected GST genes was determined by real-time PCR. In the cytosolic fraction of MSG mice kidney, increase in total GST specific...
