UNIVERZITA KARLOVA V PRAZE FAKULTA SOCIÁLNÍCH VĚD Institut ekonomických studií Martin Kuš Trojí pohled na zákaznické věrnostní programy Bakalářská práce Praha 2011 Abstract This thesis describes the mechanism of customer loyalty programmes from several views. We have defined few main objectives. The first objective is to introduce reader to loyalty programmes from the marketing perspective. The next aim is to describe the impact of customer loyalty programmes on firms and customers from the perspective of microeconomic theory. The third objective is to compare conclusions of theoretical models with the results of relevant empirical analyses. The last aim is to depict customer loyalty programmes as a principal-agent problem and draw the conclusions.

Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy of the EU and Agricultural Negotiations in the Framework of the World Trade Organization
Drbohlavová, Marta ; Urban, Luděk (advisor) ; Látal, Jan (referee)
The main topic of this diploma thesis is the recent reform of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union (CAP). The second topic is the agricultural negotiations in the framework of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Last but not least, the question of the influence of the negotiations in the WTO on the CAP reform is discussed. The first chapter concerns with the details of the process of the CAP reform and it also shows the main differences between the previous forms of the CAP and reformed one (e.g. the reforms to the intervention mechanism). Secondly, this chapter includes the description and the analysis of the fundamental key elements of the new CAP - the single farm payment (SFP), cross compliance, modulation and rural development. It is expected that the SFP brings visible and necessary changes in the financing of the CAP. The SFP decouples the payments and production. In the future farmers make decisions firmly according to the situation on the market. There is no more any incentive for the production. Full decoupling was an ideal presented by the European Commission. Member states, however, decide to maintain a proportion of direct aids to farmers in their existing form. It means hat in some sectors the idea of the full decoupling is not brought into being. The reform also emphasizes...

Preconditioned Krylov Subspace Methods in Optimization Algorithms
Fiala, Jan
One of the possible ways of solving general problems of constrained optimization is to convert them to a sequence of unconstrained problems. Then the need arises to solve unconstrained optimization problem reliably and efficiently. For this, Newton methods are usually applied, often in combination with sparse Cholesky decomposition. In practice, however, this approach may not be optimal in some cases and a suitable iterative algorithm may be preferred. The aim of this work is to use iterative algorithms with preconditioned Krylov subspace methods, like CGM and QMR, to solve unconstrained problems originating in the Augmented Lagrangian method applied to nonlinear and semidefinite programming (NLP-SDP). The specific implementation was carried out in PENNON software package.

History, Don?t Make Me Angry! or How to Use a Museum for History Instruction

This diploma paper focuses on the analysis counselling process in The Subutex® substitution programme Prev-Centrum, NGO, in Prague. On the strength of contemporary knowledge questions are asked about both this process and the whole programme. The theoretical part of this paper overviews contemporary knowledge on drug abusing; focussing on opiods, drug dependence and drug addiction and possibilities of drug users' treatment. It maps the situation in this field in the Czech Republic at the present time. This paper concentrates on both pharmaceutical and psychosocial stages of drug treatment, with special attention on the use of buprenorphine (Subutex®) as substitution. In the practical part of this paper the author analyzes her own factual examples of counselling praxis in The Subutex® substitution programme, with regard for previous theoretical basis. Pointing to key moments of this counselling process she is looking for their reasons and consequences, and considering the practical use of final statements in The Subutex® substitution programme Prev-Centrum, NGO. Movement Games in the Countryside for Pre-School Children
Hančová, Marta ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Přibyl, Ivan (referee)
Využití pohybových her v přírodě jako součásti ozdravného programu.

History, Presence and Future of Exchangeable Formats of Bibliographic Data
Rösslerová, Klára ; Vlasák, Rudolf (advisor) ; Sklenák, Vilém (referee) ; Drobíková, Barbora (referee)
This dissertation focuses on the data exchange bibliographic formats that have been used in the libraries since the 1960s. There have not been many changes over the decades although librarians have been calling for them. Since the beginning of the new millennium, there has been a growing pressure for change. The aim of this dissertation is to try to summarize the activities in this field and to outline possible future development. The formats used in the past and in the present are analysed in the first part. It is possible to predict the future development on the basis of the analysis of individual projects and on the basis of surveys. The results of the analysis suggest that these activities are headed to a linked data publication model that preserves the current cataloguing procedures. Keywords: exchange formats, bibliographic data, MARC format, MARC 21 format, linked data, BIBFRAME, Schema.org, cataloguing

Reorganization as the way of bankruptcy solution
Holevová, Jana ; Pohl, Tomáš (advisor) ; Macková, Alena (referee)
The intention of the thesis, on theme of Reorganization as the way of bankruptcy solution, is to describe this legal institute complexly and coherently. It begins from the history, continues through the current legislation and finishes with a practical point of view to reorganization and its implications in practice. The first chapter describes influences which affected reorganization in the Czech legal environment. First of all, the insolvency law was affected by historical circumstances in the Czech lands and by changes of political regimes to which the legislation was subordinated. Another subsection is addressed to foreign influences which were used as an inspiration for the legislator during creating of the current legislation. Mainly, it is an American and German legislation. In the last subsection, the EU legislation regarding reorganization is elaborated including effects of the harmonization in the Czech Republic. The second chapter of the thesis describes the legislation of reorganization in the Czech Republic and completes it of the case law especially of the High courts in Prague and Olomouc. The institutes are elaborated one by one according to the order made in the Insolvency act and in order which is usually used during insolvency proceedings. The last subsection is focused on a...

The Rural Renewal Program: The competition "Village of a year"
Skálová, Anna ; Khendriche Trhlínová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Davídek, Jiří (referee)
This diploma paper is dealing with a dilemma of the competition "Village of a year", arranged within The Rural Renewal Program. First, I focus on a conception of country-side and after on The Rural Renewal Program, which is realized under the competancy of the Ministry of Regional Development. From this program I choosed the competition "Village of a year". I am dealing with its history, development, conditions, organization, particular evaluations and I also mention some similar competitions abroad. In the next part of my work I am using a concrete municipality to find out, which activities led to its success in the competition. After, how did the municipality use the financial resour-ces gained from the competition and whether did it benefit in any other way.
