Píclová, Olga ; Kodejška, Miloš (advisor) ; Váňová, Hana (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to create a method for gaining foreign-language experience by 5-6 year olds learning English. The method is based on interconnecting artistic activities with English words and basic collocations. Through singing, games, movement and playing Orffs instruments, English words and phrases are more easily stored in the children's memories. The elementary artistic activities are associated with the emotional feelings. This is a way to deepen interest in the English language. Now, when Czech Republic and Slovakia are sovereign states, we can find a lot of similar rules and lows in their legislature, education and how they approach to this ethnic. My dissertation describes history of gypsy ethnic; it maps in detail their walk-out from Asia, their migration to Europe and around Europe and their coming, moving and establishment in these countries. It compares positions ofthe population in each country, governrnent politics about gypsies in different time and possibilities how to integrate this ethnic minority to other population in these countries. The second part of my dissertation is about education possibilities of this ethnic minority, which these countries use in practice. There are comprehensive programmes in Czech Republic and...

The Integrated Communication Model Paradigm
Sládeček, Peter ; Mucha, Ivan (advisor) ; Trampota, Tomáš (referee)
Summarizing the thesis in a brief manner demands reduction of the thoughts and concepts presented in it. Therefore, the main aim of this summary is to relate the terminology we had to establish in our theoretical research of communication from a system-theory perspective. We have built our approach in three main directions: 1. Dynamical system theory with its regards to autopoiesis, enthropy and bifurcations. 2. Second-order cybernetics, where we have adopted the concept of mutual influence between object and subject in research - meta-cybernetics. 3. Adressing social theories presented by Niklas Luhmann, Ulrich Beck, Anthony Giddens, Zygmunt Bauman and few others. The central question of our project is whether the application of the system approach to communication studies could lead to a paradigm. During the period of our MA degree programme, we encountered many attempts to connect communication models into one working mechanism. However, even with its terminology adjusted to the goal, media and communication science preserved a notion of structuralism or succeeded to incorporate system theory in just one field of interest (depending on authors' qualifications), but denying wider associations. One school of communication research that has reached a considerable level of integration is that of Cultural...
