Detention of Children on the Move and International Standards of Human Rights Protection: Content Analysis of the Case-Law of Administrative Courts Abstract | Key words: detention - child's best interest - right to freedom - retention - prohibition of torture - irregular migration The number of children on the move in Czech detention facilities is increasing. Detention as such is an interference with personal liberty and a potential interference with other fundamental rights and freedoms guaranteed by a diverse and wide range of international conventions. The objective of this thesis is twofold. The first objective is to determine how various human rights standards regulate the detention of children in the migration context. Consequently, the second objective aimed to determine the structure, shape and content of domestic case-law, specifically with respect to human rights standards. Previous research has focused only fragmentarily on child detention in the migration context, using only doctrinal methods. The attention of previous researchers has been focused on individual human rights mechanisms or on doctrinal analysis of the decisions of the Czech supreme courts. Souvenirs in museums

Bachelor's thesis is focusing on souvenirs in museums, and it's goal is to depict souvenir's history, contribution and role in museum shops. The goal was also to map souvenir's presence in chosen museums in Czech republic, with role of museum shop and it's running in the museum where it's located. Theoretical part is focused on souvenir as a phenomenon, history and initiation in museums. There is description of purpose and value, which souvenirs have for its owners. The research examined offer of souvenirs in 5 chosen museum shops and the museum shops were compared between each other. From the research, which was conducted by visiting museums personally as well as analyzing museum websites and talking to museum workers,it follows, that the souvenirs are not taken as much as important part of the museums, rather as a additional service. At the same time, the research shows, that the museums are not fullfilling the potencial of online market and distribution. This thesis could be followed by quantitative research, including much bigger museum sample, with this bachelor's thesis as a pilot probe. Self-concept of pupils from children's homes in a classroom collective at the second level of primary school.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of self-concept of pupils from children children's homes in a classroom collective at the second level of primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis aims to describe the areas and aspects having a direct influence on this issue. Based on the studied literature, the thesis defines the potential risks associated with stay in a children's homes that affect the process of integration into the classroom collective. The aim of the research part of the thesis was to find out how pupils living in children's homes perceive their position in the class collective at the second level of primary school. For the research investigation of this thesis, the method of semi-structured interviews was chosen with the possibility of more extensive storytelling of respondents who have completed the complete second grade of primary school simultaneously with their stay in the children's home. Due to the extensive storytelling of all respondents relating also to the periods before and after the completion of the second grade in primary school, it was possible to identify specifics relating to the period under study in the research. The effects of adverse experiences in mother's adolescence on child's socio-emotional development and behavioural problems

This bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of adverse experiences in the mother's adolescence on the child's socio-emotional development and potential behavioural problems. The literature section first introduces the concept of 'adverse experiences' and introduces their different types. It will then outline the ways in which adverse experiences can be measured in research practice and the effects they can have on the individual who has gone through them. The focus of the paper will be on the course of these negative experiences in adolescence, but at the same time those adverse experiences that took place in the mother's early childhood will also be mentioned. The effects of the mother's adverse experiences on the child's socio-emotional development and behavioural problems will be described. Finally, the mechanisms by which transgenerational trauma is transmitted from mother to child will be presented. In the research section, a research proposal will be presented that focuses on the impact of a mother's adverse experiences during adolescence on her child's risk of behavioural problems. Decision Making of Business Angels on Exits in Context of the Czech Venture Capital Market

This dissertation presents research results on the identification of internal and external factors affecting angel investors’ decision to exit the venture capital market in the Czech Republic. The research is based on semi-structured interviews and questionnaire surveys with 25 angel investors. Content analysis of qualitative and quantitative data serves as the main tool of data processing. The data contained in the resulting data matrix is subjected to statistical analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results indicate that the main form of exit of angel investors includes business sales, which, given the evolution of internal and external factors, is timed to maximize the return on investment. Moreover, exit is usually the result of an opportunistic approach to exit planning. The research results further suggest that the most important internal factors affecting angel investors’ exit include confidence, qualitative criteria for the evaluation of the investment by the angel investor, level of technological innovation, and contractual arrangements for the exit. In the case of external factors, the most important for an angel investor are the change and level of future demand for the the target company, geopolitical developments, or the tax system. The research results are used to formulate a multi-criteria decision model that serves as a decision support tool for angel investors exit decision.

Title: The History of czech schools in nature and their development over the past 50 years from the Perspective of czech citizens Aim: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to investigate the personal experiences of Czech citizens with schools in nature. Respondents were primarily asked about the purpose, form, content, and significance of these schools. Methods: This bachelor thesis is a theoretical-empirical work with quantitative research, utilizing an online survey as the research technique. The survey consisted of 24 questions and was completed by 151 respondents who attended primary school in the Czech Republic. Results: The results showed that most schools in nature now last about one week, much shorter than in the past when they could last several weeks. These programs most commonly occur in the 4th grade, but some schools participate annually. 89.6% of respondents said learning took place only in the mornings, mostly indoors. For extracurricular activities, respondents most frequently mentioned hiking and nature games. The socialization goal was highlighted as key, emphasizing improved relationships among students and between students and teachers. Assisted contact and assisted handover of children after parental divorce / separation

(in English): The thesis focuses on assisted contacts and assisted handovers from the perspective of the workers who perform the assists. The aim of the thesis is to find out how assisted workers reflect their own and their client's position and how assisting is anchored in legislation and public space. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the most space is given to the topic of the family, the formation and dissolution of marriage or partnership, as well as assisted contacts and, last but not least, assistant workers and clients. The research part builds on a qualitative research strategy, and uses the technique of semi-structured interviews with assistant workers to collect data. A total of 10 male and female respondents from 5 organizations participated in the research. Analysis of the results obtained from the interviews was done using thematic analysis. The key findings were the perspectives and feelings of the female and male assistant workers on their role in the process of assisted encounters and the delivery and evaluation of the service within different aspects and practices of the work. 9 Abstract Exploring self-care has become a discourse which has skyrocketed as a result of Covid-19 pandemic. Although self-care is gradually becoming an ethical imperative that should be available to all social workers in the performance of their profession, in the Czech Republic self-care has not yet been reflected in the Code of Ethics for Social Work. The presented work explores the issue of insufficient preparation of social workers for self-care. In the theoretical part, I define the key terms, self-care plan, social worker and crisis situation. In this part I also deal with managing crisis situations, maladaptive coping and the consequences of providing social services to clients. Subsequently, I focus on the impact of crisis situations on the mental and physical health of social workers. At the end of the theoretical part, I present a manual for creating a self-care plan and describe the resources and techniques that can be the key to a social worker's greater resilience. In the conclusion of the theoretical part, I describe the studies of self-care that have beeen conducted to date. Czech SMEs'perception of voluntary ESG reporting

The aim of this thesis is to find out how Czech SMEs approach voluntary ESG reporting. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the theoretical basis of ESG, the significance of its individual factors and its legislative grasp at the European level. In this part of the thesis the connection between ESG and circular economy, CSR and the concept of DEI is also explained. In addition, the pitfalls of ESG, greenwashing and the role of communication in ESG are discussed. In the research part of the thesis, two research questions are first formulated and predictions of the answers to these questions are made based on previous research. Then the data collection method, the data processing method and the actual evaluation of the research are described. The research in this thesis was conducted using the qualitative method of semi-structured in-depth interviews with a total of 6 respondents. The data collected from these interviews is analyzed in the practical part using thematic analysis, open and axial coding. The research results reveal a high level of skepticism among SMEs about ESG reporting and its legitimacy. Rise of esports: New generation of bettors

This thesis is primarily focused on the issue of online sports betting, specifically on the factors that influence Czech adults to start betting on esports. Another focus of this work is identifying the characteristics of Czech esports bettors, non-bettors, esports players and video game players, as well as recognizing their differences. Lastly, this work focuses on the attitude of Czech adults towards esports and what are the distinguishing factors between video game players and esports bettors. Firstly, the work discusses concepts related to the research. Furthermore, the thesis contains information about the existing literature on the subject of odds betting and also focuses on foreign research conducted in the field of betting, specifically the characteristics of bettors and factors influencing bettors. Based on their findings, the main research questions were asked, and hypotheses were formulated. Due to the lack of existing literature on esports attitude and characteristics of esports actors, secondary research questions were asked based on educated guesswork based on many years of observation and experience with the topic. Data collection in the research of the bachelor's thesis was carried out using structured anonymous questionnaires and subsequent data analysis was done through SPSS.
