Children's understanding of social stratification on secondary school

The thesis is focused on research for children's understanding of social stratification on secondary school. The aim is the diagnoses of children's understanding on the topic of social stratification - finding the reflection of class inequalities, interpretation of the causes of social stratification, own evaluation of the society and ideas of social mobility. In the first part was defined the theoretical base of the thesis - the concept of social stratification and basic scientific theories of social stratification, constructivism, children's understanding of the world. Also were presented foreign and home research for understanding of social stratification. In the second part were defined methodological basis of the thesis and were presented the results of a qualitative research for children's understanding using the method of the depth semi-structured interview. The research results suggested that students understand the topic of social stratification and reflect it in a different way. The role of television channel VTV 4 in lives of vietnamese immigrants in the Czech republic

This diploma thesis focuses on the role of the television channel VTV4 in lives of Vietnamese immigrants in the Czech Republic. It tries to clarify what are the functions of VTV4 and what it represents for its audience. The thesis is divided into theoretical, methodological and analytical parts. The theoretical part is compiled from Czech and foreign literature. At the beginning of this section it presents theories explaining functions of mass media in society. Then it describes the characteristics of Vietnamese immigrants in the Czech Republic and their internal differentiation. One of the most important chapters of the thesis is also a chapter describing VTV4, which briefly introduces its objectives, history, and also its program. The core of the thesis is the qualitative research conducted through semi-structured interviews. The methodology of the research is explained in detail in the methodology section. The aim was to find out from informants, which roles VTV4 plays in their lives whereby great attention is paid to differences in perception between the so-called the first generation of Vietnamese immigrants and the second generation. Satisfying the needs and demands of senior citizens living in nursing and retirement home Malesice

Bachelor's thesis " Satisfying the needs and demands of senior citizens living in nursing and retirement home Malesice ". The theoretical part is generally discussed in the aging process, the changes that accompany the process of adaptation and seniors to these changes. He mentions a senior position in society, support government and private religious institutions in the process of active aging and generally deals with the problems of this age group. It reveals both specific and general needs of clients and their satisfaction following a specific long-term care - Home for the Elderly Plant.. The methodology section are based on theoretical knowledge specifies research questions. The practical part deals with the qualitative research based on semi-structured interview with a selected sample of probands. Analysis of the data obtained in the concluding section provides the ability to measure the satisfaction of the real needs of clients and other ways to improve the service offered, and thus improve the lives of seniors in specific residential facilities.

Basic physical preparation in rhythmic gymnastics

of disertation Rhythmic gymnastics (RG) is the only Olympia sport of girls and women and it is characterized by precision, fluency and elegance of movement that emphasizes feminine beauty and grace. At present, there is no coherent concept of long-term sports training of talented gymnasts in Czech RG. The outflow of athletes is evident especially during prepubescence. Basic RG preparation aims gradual development of motor abilities, practice of sports (gymnastics) skills and the beginning of specialized techniques based on the principle of comprehensive movement base. This period (in rhythmic gymnastics between 7-9 years of gymnasts) for further performance growth is very substantial, in terms of content and in terms of training forms and influence of trainers (coaches). Defining the content of movement and gymnastic activities determines the path of development athletes and also defines (for caoches) performance criteria in each age category. The aim of disertation was to verify correspondence between published scientific theories and trainers experience of coaching using the Repertory Grid Technique. Analysis of the current state of information services in the field of theatre arts and their impact on public relations

With the aid of a "case study" research design, this thesis analyses the typology of informational services, whose prudent application can influence relations of institutions existing within the drama industry with the broader public. The theoretical part sheds light on the problematic definition of "information services", which is placed in the context of online marketing, and introduces ways, in which this term possesses an added value in the form of affecting the applied processes of public relations within particular institutions. Secondly, it includes basic methodological perspectives on quantitative research, the rules of performing case study research as the selected research design, and last but not least, it describes utilised methods of data collection. The last and most key part of the thesis is based on resulting application of the typology of information services, discussed in the previous parts, and concerns itself with the aforementioned question of their influence on public relation processes of individual institutions. Development of motion abilities of women's volleyball players in the age from 14 to 15 years. Goal: The purpose was to found out, how trainers of pupil's categories are realizing the fitness preparation with category of "older women pupils " Methods: For collecting the datas was used Unstandardised Questionnaure (form) and also was used so called Half-Structurized Interview. For following processing and evaluation of collected datas from half-structurized form , we used Sector Diagram and Chart of Frequency, and also we used verbal summary for half-structurized interview. Results: We found out from processed datas that trainers are not realising evenly fitness preparation in training units . Trainers are not keeping rules of growth of motion abilities (universality, individuality, following compensation training). By some trainers we completely miss even their professional knowledge in the area of fitness development of youth . Learning the Czech language in retirement age

This thesis deals with foreign language learning in retirement age from interdisciplinary perspective. Its characteristics may be limited economic activity, more free time and the potential occurrence of certain barriers caused by age. The case of foreigners in retirement age living in the Czech Republic and learning Czech will serve as an example of foreign language learning. The theoretical part of the thesis firstly defines old age together with the changes typical for the process of aging and old age: the changes are described on a physical, cognitive and social level. The thesis then goes on to address the process of learning with emphasis on foreign language learning. Selected components are mentioned within the pedagogical- psychological part of the learning process, specifically the motivation to learn, different organizational forms of education and teacher's role during the education. 8 Abstract The diploma thesis Case study of Klecánky allotment site or there is not one gardener like the other is a case study of one of the huge allotment sites located near the village Zdiby on the north periphery of Prague. The aim of the thesis is to find out who the garden plot users are and what motivations for being in the allotment site they have. Furthermore to find out which concept of their garden plots they have chosen and which functions the allotment site satisfies. The thesis puts special emphasis on sustainable development aspects of gardening and on the values and value orientations of the garden plot users. The research was conducted with methods of participant observations and semi-structured interviews. In the course of the research it turned out that the gardeners demonstrate lots of common characteristics, however, their attitudes and values are different in substantial aspects. This is connected with the extent of their cultivation of fruits and vegetables. It also appeared that this fact is strongly related to the age and to the extent of busyness of the garden plot users.
