The Project has been applied in a Preschool facility with a specific group of children and its content was adapted by the Preschool's official curriculum.

Title: Application and Verification of a Self-defence Program for Patients in a Psychiatric Hospital Objectives: The aim of this thesis is application of a self-defence program, created in a bachelor thesis, during an addiction treatment in Červený Dvůr, a psychiatric hospital. The thesis surveys the suitability of the educational program during addiction treatment, verification of acquired motoric skills and its possible integration in patients' free time, recommendation of the exercise to friends, and last but not least it surveys a possible interest in the program in other psychiatric hospitals. Methods: There are several methods used in the thesis. Content analysis is used for working with literature, interview is used in the conversation held with the department head and the custodian. Observation is used for watching the participants doing the exercise. Comparing is used for evaluation of the final outputs. Opinion poll is used for finding the asset of the educational program. Basic statistic methods are used for evaluating the answers in the opinion polls. Results: The suitability of the program was confirmed by two department heads in two psychiatric hospitals which are focused on addiction treatment. Comparision of participation in physical activities of secondery school students and primary school pupils in Prague

Title: Comparison of participation in physical activities of secondary school students and primary school pupils in Prague Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to find and compare the participation in extracurricular physical and sport activities of Prague's secondary school students and Prague's primary school pupils based on questionnaire survey and following evaluation of the obtained data. Methods: The research was realized using the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was designed specifically for this research. Results: The research results suggest that the physical activities are comparatively expanded among secondary school students and primary school pupils in Prague. It has been statistically proven that primary school pupils are interested in physical activities in organized form more than secondary school students. There are not significant statistical differences between primary school pupils and secondary school students in the frequency of doing physical activities. Relationship of pupils at primary schools in the selected region to regular physical activity depending on the interests of their parents

The aim of the thesis is to reveal the relationship between lower secondary school pupils in cities Semily and Prague and regular physical activity, depending on the interests of their parents. Specific objectives included the determination of the relationship of students to physical activities, finding their parents' relationship to these activities and the subsequent determination of the cross-correlation of these two relationships. After gathering and subsequent analysis of the relevant sources a questionnaire has been compiled. The questionnaire survey was conducted at selected lower secondary schools in cities Semily and Prague. After subsequent data collection a comparison of schools in both regions was conducted. Research has shown that in terms of regular physical activity pupils in Prague are more active than those in Semily. In Prague 73 % of pupils regularly perform physical activities, while in Semily it is 56 %. Another output is information that 79 % of parents in Semily are (or were in the past) regularly physically active. In Prague the figure is 82 %. TITLE: Health support for preschool aged children in selected preschool facilities AUTHOR: Veronika Šotková DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Eva Marádová, CSc. ABSTRACT: The bachelors work discusses chosen aspects of health that contribute to a healthy child development in preschool age. The theoretic part characterizes psychomotoric and social child development in preschool age, basic needs and factors affecting his healthy development and further, the long term program for health support "Zdraví 21" is discussed with links to targets dealing with preschool children, making their life conditions and life style better. The next section focuses on current preschool education offers including private preschool institutions and alternatives aiming for healthier lifestyle education. Goal of the practical part is to map the situation of health support from physical activities, sleep and boarding point of view in chosen public preschool and private preschool institutions. To verify the goal a semi structured interview was taken with directors of private preschool and public preschool institutions in Prague. Interest in sport in students of 2nd and 3rd medical faculty Charles University in Prague

Title The interest in sport by the students of 2nd and 3rd Faculty of Medicine Objectives The goal of the thesis was to ascertain the structure of sports interests by the students of 2nd and 3rd Faculty of Medicine CU and relevancy to outdoor sports. Methods Questionnaire evaluation with thirteen open and closed questions. The questionnaire was not standardized. The analysis and evaluation of the facts were accomplished by the column chart and the tables. The set was constituted by 407 students, 182 students were from 2nd and 225 students were from 3rd Faculty of Medicine CU. Results The students of 2nd and 3rd Faculty of Medicine CU work out usually two to four hours a week. They are interested in individual sports. 98 students are interested in swimming, 63 students in running, 40 students in fitness sport. Their most favourite sports same is volleyball (62 students). They are very interested in outdoor sports, all above cycling (111), hiking (40) and downhill skiing (47). Discussion and Conclusions The university education has a positive effect on physical activity, the people with degree do sport more frequently then the rest of society. Active working in terms of movement as one of the factors influencing a foreign language learning

The Master Thesis is focused on summarizing of theoretical pieces of knowledge in the process of learning and teaching in an elementary school (the second stage according to Czech educational system). The thesis is also concerned about the role of locomotion in this process as well as the usage of movement activities in a foreign language teaching process. Theoretical resources were verified by the research investigation and a pedagogical experiment which proved a positive influence of a motion to the effectiveness of teaching in a particular research group. In compliance with the gathered information there was a file of various activities created, which offers methodical and didactic description of those activities and game. These are suitable for the usage of movement activities during the teaching of German language on the elementary schools. This activity file should inspire all German language teachers.
