Life management - important concept in psychology
Procházka, Jan ; Niederlová, Markéta (referee) ; Bahbouh, Radvan (advisor)
The thesis brings forward an analysis of the phenomenon of life management (LM) and its research. The introduction ponders over the level of knowledge of the theme and its interpretation; the theoretical part deals with comparison of related theories or, to say it in another words, of theoretical foundations of the phenomenon of LM, taking their similarities and differences into account, where the conclusion of the thesis is that the phenomenon of life management is absolutely necessary; and the practical part deals with field research. In total, 125 subjects took part in it. The research combined various methods - interviews, life axes and questionnaires. The participants were asked to answer questions regarding the management of their own life, and the basic characteristics of it. Based on an analysis of categories, a theory of life management was laid down based on the most relevant pieces of knowledge. LM is a complex and individual phenomenon. Obviously adverse external factors, e.g. poverty, unemployment or illness, weren't necessarily signs of inadequate life management in the studied population. Mostly, the respondents associated proper life management with an idea of initiative and proper provision for themselves (or for their near relations), meeting their own goals and happiness. LM includes a...

The position and activities of an authorized inspector under the Building Act
Fisenková, Tereza ; Staša, Josef (advisor) ; Svoboda, Petr (referee)
Presented thesis deals with approved inspector as a major entity of simplified procedure. It is focused on the origin of his function, internal organization and impact of his functioning. Author brings comprehensive view of current problems, primarily from point of view of judicature, specialized literature and comparison with foreign legislation. Author considers a possibility of amendment of the act besides an analysis of current legislation. Grammatical or teleological interpretation of the provisions governing the simplified procedure doesn't bring a satisfactory answer to the question of whether the legislation intended for governing bodies applies on the activity of authorized inspector. Whether through negligence or intent the legislature concerning authorized inspector is conceptual hybrid. In an attempt to clarify its functioning and to define it either a subject of public or private law, concept of simplified procedure deforms to disadvantage of different group of subjects and loses partly its original meaning. The only way out of this confusing situation is amendment of Building Act in favor of unambiquous concept of simplified procedure. The author deals with position of the authorized inspector in initial chapters. The procedure of nomination and assumptions that an applicant must meet...

Catalytic Dehalogenation of Hexachlorobenzene by Model and Extracted MSWI Fly Ash in Comparison with Thermodynamical Interpretation of the Dechlorination Process
Bureš, M. ; Pekárek, Vladimír ; Fišerová, Eva
Catalytic dechlorination of hexachlorobenzene by municipal incinerator fly ash and by model synthetic fly ash was studied in an inert atmosphere at 260° C. The preferred formation of dehalogenated compounds up to totally dechlorinated species was found to be for both catalytic agents as the same which prove the idea that the dehalogenation mechanism for compared systems is identical. The results were compared with thermodynamical dehalogenation mechanism for compared systems is identical. The results were compared with thermodynamical calculations which are preferring the formation of 1,3,5-trichlorobenzene and para dichlorobenzene whose are originated by isomeric shifting of chlorine during dehalogenation processes. This phenomenon was not selected for catalytic dechlorination experiments.

The Becomings of Narrative: Transformation and Transmutation in the Tibetan and Mongolian 'Enchanted Corpse' Cycle
Mikos, Rachel ; Oberfalzerová, Alena (advisor) ; Zikmundová, Veronika (referee)
The goal of this thesis is the investigation of the narratives of the originally Indian cycle of tales of the Enchanted Corpse (Sanskrit: Vetālapañcavinśati, Tibetan: ro sgrung, Mongolian: siditu' kegu'r-un u'liger) in their translation and cultural transmission to Tibet and Mongolia. Primarily, this work addresses these tales from a theoretical standpoint based on the writings of French philosopher Gilles Deleuze, whose idea of "nomadology" appears highly suitable for investigating the striking differences of all of the various linguistic mutations. In particular, Deleuze's analysis of language, nomadic space, "becoming" (devenir), the body without organs (corps sans organs), speech and silence, can be very effectively applied to the interpretation of these tales in the new cultural environments of Mongolia and Tibet.
