Employment Policy in the District of Pardubice in the Years 2006-2011
Štěrbová, Marta ; Krebs, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Kotýnková, Magdalena (referee)
The thesis is focused on the importance of employment policy and its application in the district of Pardubice. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with general problems in the specification of the labor market and unemployment. Concurrently, the thesis is concerned with the characteristics of employment policy in the Czech Republic and European Union. The thesis contributes through its complete overview of the formation and importance of employment policy, depending on the specific conditions of the regional labor market. The main goal of this thesis is to confirm or exclude the presumption, as to whether employment policy measures in the district of Pardubice are effective, in terms of reducing unemployment, maintaining a dynamic equilibrium in the labor market, and supporting the efficient use of labor. In the practical part of the thesis the basic characteristic of the district of Pardubice are discussed, followed by an analysis of the local labor market in the years 2006 - 2011. In the conclusion, the paper presents an evaluation of the development of employment, or rather unemployment, dependent on the implementation and expenditure of the active employment policy and how these polices could help to increase employment in this district.

Testing the production efficiency of special types of feed fot catfish in a rearing of African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) in a recirculating system
ČTRNÁCT, Petr
The main objective of this diploma thesis is compare the production efficiency of special types of feed for African catfish in experimental conditions in a recirculating system with biological treatment of water. It was tested four different types of floating feed, differing in the proportion of main components, the chemical composition and determining - for catfish (CatCo GROWER - 12 EF, CatCo SELECT - 13 EF and CatCo GROWER - 13 EF), respectively salmonid fish species (Dibaq Trout Evolution). The primary outcome indicators was the growth rate, individual weight (and it's variability), feed conversion ratio, the cost of feed consumed per unit of growth and product quality, evaluated according the average dress-out percentage of skinless fillets, organoleptic assessment and chemical composition of flesh.

K numerické analýze singularit v rezonančních charakteristikách nelineárních parametrických systémů s rázovými jevy v záběru ozubení
Hortel, Milan ; Škuderová, Alena
The impact effects in gear mesh represent specific phenomena in the dynamic investigation of highspeed light transmission systems with kinematic couplings. They are caused of greater dynamic than static-elastic deformations in meshing gear profiles. In term of internal dynamics they are influenced among others by time heteronomous stiffness functions in gear mesh and resonance tuning of stiffness level. The damping in gear mesh and in gear system is concerned significantly in the amplitude progress, greatness and phase shift of relative motion towards stiffness function alternatively towards its modify form in gear mesh. In consequence of these and another actions rise above resonance characteristics certain singular locations with jump amplitude course.

The Applications of Constraint-Induced Movement Elements in Therapy in Patients after Brain Injury
Šulcová, Alice ; Nováková, Olga (advisor) ; Svěcená, Kateřina (referee)
Name and surname: Alice Šulcová Supervisor: Bc. Olga Nováková, M.Sc. Opponent: ……………………………. Thesis title: The Applications of Constraint-Induced Movement Elements in Therapy in Patients after Brain Injury Abstract: Stroke is a disease with prevalence of 150 to 200 persons per 100 000 in the Czech Republic. It is the third leading cause of death after heart diseases and various types of cancer. Mortality in the Czech Republic is four times higher than in the USA and 40 % of patients die within one year after the event. Constraint-induced movement therapy (CIT) is often described as a method for improving soft skills and gross motor skills, range of motion, self-care activities in ADL with upper or lower affected extremity. This work verifies the conclusions of the various foreign publications in our conditions on two patients after stroke. Self-care activities in ADL was chosen as a marker of improvement in patients receiving CIT. Therapeutic plan of interventions was divided into three periods - 10 one hour intervention for 14 days, 3 months of individual therapy in home conditions, and 10 one hour intervention for 14 days, again. Evaluation of improvement in self-care activities in ADL was conducted by involved observation and studying of the taken video sequences. Input and output tests were...

Evaluation of performance and reproduction of Montbéliarde dams
JÍCHOVÁ, Eva
The objective of this study was assessing of utility and fertility in Montbéliarde cows and comparing with utility and fertility in Czech Spotted cows, bred in the same conditions. The recording was performed in the agricultural cooperative Bělčice, where both breeds are bred in the same conditions of environment, nutrition and care. The recording includes 366 cows (123 Montbéliarde cows {--} I, 109 Czech Spotted cows {--} C and 134 50 % Montbéliarde and 50 % Czech Spotted crossbreds - CI), which finished their lactation from 1.10.2004 until 13.7.2007. The fertility was assessed by reproduction indexes as first calving age, insemination period, meantime; and milk yield by utility indexes as quantity of milk; fat, protein, lactose contain, lactation persistence, length of lactation. There have been found important differences in reproduction indexes such as length of service period, length of meantime and first calving age. On I cows there was the biggest length of service period (124.5 days), even the length of meantime (414.6 days), on the contrary the CI group has reached the lowest numbers (99.7 and 377.2 days). Montbéliarde cows reached 844.7 days age when first calving, that is 52.6 days earlier than C group. Czech Spotted cows produced in average 7672.7 kg of milk per lactation when cross breeds produced 7677.1 kg and Montbéliarde cows produced 8708.5 kg of milk. Differences were statistically very significant. Montbéliarde cows had demonstrably lower (P $łeq$ 0,001) fat contain in milk (4.06 % in compare with 4.23 % by C and 4.21 % by CI). There wasn{\crq}t statistically significant difference recorded in protein contain among breeds by numbers 3.46 for C; 3.48 for CI and 3.46 for I. Because of the high milk yield of Montbéliarde cows, there was reached the highest production of fat (352.3 kg) even proteins (300.8 kg) in this breed. The highest index of lactation persistence was documented in Montbéliarde cows in level 89,9 in compare with the lowest reached level 85.4 (P $łeq$ 0.001) in the group of Czech Spotted cows.

Serious games and their Possible Use in Teaching and Learning
Slavík, Martin ; Šisler, Vít (advisor) ; Šlerka, Josef (referee)
Diploma thesis "Serious games and their possible use in teaching and learning" describes the so-called "serious games" and evaluates the potential of teaching and learning with regards to the current educational and information needs. This thesis originated in 2010 and especially the research case studies, Simon E. Nielsen, Vit Šisler, Cyril Brom, and user testing of educational games such as Europe in 2045 and his active participation in the workshop devoted Enter3 serious games, where the author participated in the creation of several "serious" modules the game Unreal Tournament. At the beginning author describes the methodological apparatus of the thesis with the focus on the theoretical aspects and the research of computer games as a scientific field called game studies. The second part deals with the development and current form of computer games. Furthermore, the author attempts a breakdown and categorization of "serious games" in compliance with the genre or centred on their influance on the key groups (students, employees). He also wants to find an answer to the question "why we play the games" or what makes the games serious. The penultimate chapter of this work author defines the various platforms on which to play SG and describes the both situation in the Czech republic and abroad. It also...

Monotony as Possible Cause of Change of Body Segment Transfer Function while Vehicle Driving
Drahorádová, Radka ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Lopot, František (referee)
Work objectives : Determination of body segment transfer function as a vibration response depends on vibration-loading time. Determination of transfer function in limited frequency range coresponding with thesis scope, representing vibration loading in the best way (for example car driving). Methods : Transfer functions were set by experimental measuring in laboratory and in situ, while vehicle driving. Measuring were realized in two times, before and after vibration loading of body segment. Results of each measuring were compared with others. Results : By comparing measuring results it is obvious that body response values are lower after aplication of vibration loading than before. Subsequently, stiffness of analysed body segment increases with rising length of loading, eg. body fatigue. Measuring results show, moreover that transfer function is considerably influenced by body posture, respectively by its position. Key words : monotony, transfer function, vibrations

Social problems of employees from the third countries at the labour market in Czech Republic
Faktorová, Dana ; Tomeš, Igor (advisor) ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (referee)
Diploma work is about social problems of foreing workers in the Czech Republic. This phenomenon because of increasing migratory movements mostly economic motivated migrants it is going to be more important. This work tries to explain what social problems citizens of the third countries have. It is not deciding if they came to the Czech republic accord of thein own o rif they were forced to migration. At least the work tries to find out if the foreign labour wants to be integrated into the Czech society or if migration is just for a temporary phenomenon. The work in the theoretical part show the term migration, or more precisely external migration from the point of view of the European Nation and deals with migratory reasons, migratory theories and migratory impacts on every single person but on the whole society too. The whole theoretical part is put into the context of migration and asylum policy of the European Nation because the Czech Republic as the member of the European Nation make an effort about harmonisation in this part. The important part is about employment conditions of third countries citizens in the Czech Republic which are put in the legislative and institutional frame. The work then describes the effort of the Czech migration policy about active kontrol of migration and analyse the legal...

Electronic trade and private international law with special regard to entering into contracts
Peterková, Kateřina ; Brodec, Jan (referee) ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor)
1 Electronic Commerce and Private International Law (with Special Focus on Contract Formation Process) Summary in English language Technologies through which we are able to conclude a contract and carry out business are evolving by unbelievable speed. Legislators all over the world are unable to keep up with such a development usually because the legislative process is a long-term one, they come across absolutely new problems and they have to find new ways to deal with them. The current effective norms governing electronic commerce are often insufficient. They deal only with parts of the problems arising in connection to electronic commerce. Most of them were enacted in times when internet was the only mean of contracting and therefore they are not applicable to new technologies like mobile phones or PDA ect. One of the biggest legal problems arising in connection with new technologies is caused by their borderless. The users are contracting through borders easily because they are not obvious in traditional way. There appears a new question where are the borders in the cyberspace? And are there any? And hand in hand with this issue goes the problem of determining the governing law for these contracts and court that has jurisdiction to hear a case when a dispute arise. Shortly said the new borderless media...
