Running an online store

This diploma thesis is focused on running an online shop in the Czech Republic. Online shopping is the fenomenon of modern age and had a strong infulence on consumer behavior. Customers can browse shops and order from shops all over the world at any time of day. In the first part of this work I am presenting theoretical background and basic principles on which online shopping is founded. I am also exploring its benefits, risks and possible limitations. Next, I am exploring the current situation of online shopping in Czech Republic and the prerequisites for further development. In the second part I am focusing on activities that are integral to the area of online shopping. This includes advertising systems, choice of software implementation, payment system, marketing campaigns or goods distribution. I am comparing possible options for every one of these areas and I am also suggesting advice tailored for different kinds of businesses. The overall aim of this work is to use my own experience to create a comprehensive guide on running an online store..
Business success of eshops and its evaluation

This diploma thesis is focused on business success of eshops concretely usability, credibility, accessability, competitive advantage and some types of promotion(PPC, SEO, email marketing). This work also describes way of evaluation of business results and KPI-driven management. In practical part of the work there is eshop www.ceskeskolky.cz analyzed. On the basis of some methods (SEO analysis, Usability testing, etc.) particular suggestions and recommendations are made to improve business results of this eshop.

Business strategies of the selected e-shops

The world of internet evolves quickly and it becomes an important means of trade. It brings new business opportunities with a need for specific business strategies. In order to be competitive, every company has to exploit as many advantages as possible and many advantages can be gained through the use of the internet (such as cost economization, easier integration of company departments and efficient data sharing, etc.). It is also important for e-shops to offer innovative services and user-friendly interface that will distinguish them from others. The aim of this thesis is to identify the opportunities for companies that the internet offers, to describe the specifics of internet business and its advantages and disadvantages, to analyze strategies of the selected e-shops from the Czech and the international market and to create a prognosis of their future development.
Foundation and operating of an E-Shop

E-Shops have become considerable source of income for enterprisers and companies -- blowing the internet bubble before several years have shown, however, that not every E-Shop is flourishing and competitive. In a rough competition has enforced just such shop that fit information, technologies and business together; effectively capitalized resources and accommodated customer's needs. The goal of this work is to try to describe important steps, activities, procedures and decisions dutiny foundation and operating of the profitable E-Shop. The work is classified into the theoretical and the practical part -- in separated chapters it describes economic analysis, lawful obligations and the general presentation of the E-Shop on a website as well as the specific presentation on example of the E-Shop MojePekárna.cz.
Využití věrnostních systémů pro podporu prodeje internetových obchodů.

Práce charakterizuje internet jako prostředí sloužící k provozování internetových obchodů, snaží se posoudit současný rozvoj e-shopů provozovaných v České republice a především zmapovat, v jaké míře, jakým způsobem a v jaké konkrétní podobě v současné době využívají internetoví prodejci věrnostní systémy pro podporu svých loajálních zákazníků ? tyto nejčastěji používané programy porovnat, posoudit jejich vhodnost a případně se pokusit odhadnout budoucí trend jejich vývoje v e-shopech.
Online shops as a service to entrepreneurs

The main goal of this thesis is to encourage entrepreneur in the choice of online shop solutions offered by way of rent. This goal has been fulfilled by the creation of a simple methodical procedure easily applicable by entrepreneurs, who do not have technical knowledge and would like to use the online shop solutions through rental services. That methodology is the largest contribution of this thesis. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first section provides an introduction to the problem, highlights the advantages and disadvantages of Internet commerce, both from the perspective of entrepreneurs as well as customers and evaluates the current situation of Internet trading on the Czech market. The second part describes the available options (categories) of establishing the online shop. The third part builds on the findings of previous parts and by using a wide range of criteria, it creates a complex methodology for the selection of specific solution implemented by way of rent.
Financial analysis of an e-shop

The aim of this thesis is to create a complex financial analysis that will be useful for the decision making on the future and orientation of the company SEDNISI.CZ, s.r.o.. The theoretical part of the thesis first examines the characteristics of the furniture market and then deals with the analysis of internet use in the Czech Republic. Apart from the financial analysis itself which deals with standard ratio and syntetic indicators the thesis compares the results of the analysed company with results of the whole sector and of one of the competitors. The information gathered from the analysis of financial indicators is further used in the strategic analysis of the company that focuses on revealing the strengths and weaknesses of the company. Despite the fact that the financial and strategic analysis does not perfectly answer every question that is posed to the company it is undoubtedly very useful for evaluating the past developments, for finding problematic areas and for predicting the future of the company.
Process improvement potencial in internet commerce

Dissertation Business process improvement possibilities in internet shop introduce reader with improvement possibilities in small e-shops with limited financial competence. Object of this work is determination conception process, finding suitable methods for process improvement in enterprise and on the basis of obtained information create process model chosen e-shop and usage some method for process improvement. At the beginning is reader introduced with concept e-shop and e-business. Next part is explained concept and sense of process access in companies operating in nowadays. Next part is about process improvement. First are explained concepts Business process improvement and Business process reengineering than are introduced methods suitable for process improvement. Methods are chosen from different areas, so is good to see the variety of ways that heads to process improvement. Next part is about MIPIM methodology. All steps are explained and extended with suitable methods and tools for each step. Next chapter introduces SkateMORE e-shop. Using SWAT analysis and strategic goals show us possible ways of process modification. Last chapter put deals with process improvement in practically using MIPIM methodology and chosen method mentioned in foregoing chapters. Dissertation ends with rating design of solution implementation. Implementation and rating is not a part of dissertation
Výběr poskytovatele aplikačních služeb

Cílem práce je vytvoření detailní analýzy návrhu webové aplikace ?Průvodce výběrem eshopu?. Tato aplikace je určena převážně pro vedoucí pracovníky malých a středních podniků, kteří se rozhodli pro zřízení internetového obchodu pro prodej svých produktů a služeb. Hlavní funkcí průvodce je pomoc uživateli při výběru optimálního systému pro provoz internetového obchodu formou ASP. Průvodce provede uživatele krok za krokem parametry, které nabízejí dostupné systémy.
