P.E. and Sport of convicted women in prison Světlá nad Sázavou

in English The title ofthe diploma thesis: Conditions for psychical training and sport ofthe convicted women in the Prison Světlá nad Sázavou Goal ofthe thesis: the goal was to describe, document and evaluate conditions for sport programs in the women Prison Světlá nad Sázavou. And further to fmd out the overal! participation ofthe convicted women in sport programs offered by prison and to describe their motive- power level. ln conclusion I compared their outcomes with outcomes of civil population ofwomen. Method of the thesis: Finding out ofthe conditions for physical training and sport was done by questionnaire method among 91 convicted women. The motive- power level was tested on 80 convicted in accordance with standardized test called UNIFITTEST. The women under the test were divided into four groups; in each one were about 20 women. And their outcomes were compared with civil population ofwomen. Outcomes of the thesis: Outcomes ofthe motive - power tests illustrate that all groups of the convicted women under test achieve in average lower outcomes than civil inhabitants. Generally two thirds ofthe convicted in this prison do the sport. The most popular sport program is activity called sport activities. The conditions for sport in prison are evaluated as sufficient. Community forms of ecologically-friendly life in individualized society

The thesis "Community forms of ecologically-friendly life in individualized society" deals with contemporary intentional eco-communities that are, mostly as ecovillages and cohousings, connected with the reneissance of the community movement in Western society in the nineties of the 20th century. Utilizing G. Simmel's concept of quantitative and qualitative individualism, it investigates to what extent is the existence and form of intentional eco-communities influenced by the process of individualization. The motivations of initiators and of the members of eco-communities, the question of privacy and the engagement in neighbourhood relationships and into public life are investigated in more detail. Third part of the work offers a description of examples of intentional eco-communities in Czech Republic and it also describes community projects that are related to this topic.

Project Method and its Application in Contemporary Education

The diploma thesis The Project Method and its Potential Application in Contemporary Education deals with the potential which this method offers. Requirements on the Czech education are formulated in the Framework Education Programmes which are presented by the educational objectives. Working on projects helps to fulfil these objectives and helps to achieve and develop individual key competencies. This diploma thesis refers to appropriate use of the projects in teaching foreign languages. In the practical part, there is a plan of a concrete project on the theme Paris and … which was carried out with students of grammar schools in the subject French language. The project itself is described in the practical part, starting from motivation and detailed planning, then describing realization, final presentation and reflexion on the project. For the final reflexion and assessment, three types of questionnaires were compiled. Also, the criteria for assessment were assigned, which can be used for assessing the work by teachers or coordinators. The project with its questionnaires can be used, after slight changes, as a model for further projects in teaching foreign language with the focus on realia of the studied country. Consumer protection and marketing in baking industry

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of actual situation of consumer protection on the market with pastries, linked to the analysis of a pastries offer in chosen supermarkets in Prague and marketing of bakery products. The motivation of this work is mainly the situation of dark pastries that is very extended in actual time. These pastries have often different basis and thus they also have various value for the customer. The analysis of the actual situation of consumer protection was made by a research, which was focused on the knowledge and opinions of consumers about what they really buy and what they think they are buying. Based on ascertained information, the actual situation was evaluated and compared with defined hypotheses. Part of this thesis contains also proposals for improvements in this area.

Melancholy in the poetry of Antonín Sova

The main theme of this thesis is a literary motive of melancholy in the poetry of a Czech poet Antonín Sova. The end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century we can consider as a specifically melancholic and it is possible to see it especially in pieces of writing of many authors. The rare situation happened in the Czech lands. The Czechs were ready to deal with new issues, but their expectation did not come true. The frustration of all the situation is noticeable mainly in works of Czech decadents, but we can also see it in the poetry of Antonín Sova. It is obvious in his Vybouřené smutky and then in Ještě jednou se vrátíme... which follows and we chose it as a basic text for our interpretation of melancholic motive in Sova's poetry. It was published in time of culminating expectations of some changes in the field of social situation, which was becoming unbearable. It is impossible to omit melancholic feeling in Ještě jednou se vrátíme..., but it is somehow modified, especially in his lyric poetry, which does not sound unambiguously tragical, but on the contrary it offers particular hopes. An Educational Project for a Field Seminar for Grammar Schools based on the Ecology and the Living Environment of Rakovnik

This thesis is supposed to offer all the background to the teachers of biology and ecology of the Grammar Schools in Rakovník for the conducting of a natural historical seminary which most often takes place in the forth grade with a view to ecology of Rakonik and its surroundings. The intention of this seminary is the expansion of now studied subject matter of ecology in the lessons of biology with a great emphasis on the connection of nature and ecology of Rakovník. Considering the fact that there are no publications that examine this problem from the whole the searching for information about Rakovník and its surroundings in different sources and its subsequent utilisation in lessons of biology and ecology was very complicated and troublesome for the teachers. This thesis aims to help the teachers with this problem. It expressively saves labour with the praparation for lessons and not only in above-mentioned seminary but also during the biology lessons in all grades. The connection of interpretation and the examples from the close surroundings can be a great motive to the students. This natural historical seminary also has another targets. Work's topic is employees stimulation with systems of benefits or other non financial incentives. First part discusses employee's motivational theories. Second practical part analyzes self made questionnaire investigation between employees of different firms. Relation between benefit offer and significance for employees is analyzed. Should Blaník go organic? Determinants of conversion to organic farming in the territory of Protected Landscape Area Blaník

The submitted diploma thesis deals with the issues of organic farming, its progress, the current situation and the legislature. In addition, the thesis describes the conversion process of conventional farms to organic farming. Further, the thesis presents the farmers' attitude towards organic farming based on the empirical field research, which was carried out on the territory of the Protected Landscape Area Blaník. The conclusion of this work offers a concept of arrangements, which can be used by the management of the Protected Landscape Area Blaník to motivate local farmers for conversion to the system of organic farming.

The possibilities in the animal insurance and the situation in the Czech market

The bachelor thesis deals with the insurance of various animal species and analyzes the present situation and supply of Czech insurance companies. The first chapter briefly describes risks which follow from breeding of animals in general. Next chapter is focused on analysis of the livestock insurance which is the part of agricultural insurance. The farming business depends on weather and it causes its high risk rate. In occur of chance event farmer should bankrupt and it can have the negative effect on rural population. In spite of that the government provides subsidies on agricultural insurance and motivates farmers for an active risk management. An attitude of the government to the livestock insurance is in the thesis mentioned more closely. Also the horse insurance is considered. The last chapter is concerned with dog and cat insurance with emphasis on "life and health" insurance. Pet life and health insurance is in Czech Republic offered since 2007. Assumption is that its popularity is going to increase and because of that the supply of pet insurance will also increase.

The Creation and Implementation of a School Education Programme in Practice

This final bachelor thesis deals with problems of creation process of school education programs in primary schools in Czech Republic. Since it is an activity that school subjects could not have experienced so far and since the availability of pilot schools outcomes is not optimal, this thesis aims to provide basic information file that is important for start of systematic work on creation of school curriculum document. It systematizes correlation between School Education Program and actual legal rules of Czech legal system and offers instruments for motivation of participants making this document. The important part of the thesis is also research. The aim of this research was to judge factors that have influence on creation process of School Education Program in primary schools and also in terms of their difference in schools of number of students bellow 200 and over 200 pupils. The results of this research confirm that there are differences in some facts between small and large schools. These differences can subsequently influence the progress of creation process of School Education Program and thus could have essential influence on its final form in terms of qualitative judgement and above all in terms of its function.
